AT 6:30am I had just made a mobile order at this store and 4 CONES were blocking both drive thru entrances, so since i used my hard earned money and ordered during business hours i GOT OUT OF MY CAR, & PHYSICALLY MOVED TWO CONES and drove to the second pickup window where i was handed my food (MINUS ONE ITEM HA) But wait... THEN I WAS ASKED TO DRIVE BACK AROUND AND PUT THE TWO CONES BACK IN PLACE TO BLOCK FURTHER CARS FROM ENTERING. I am baffled at the lack of respect for the community because I AM A SERVER so every stunt that is pulled here I know 9/10 is someone committing fraud, getting paid to do absolutely nothing, and after all of that I STILL did not receive one sandwich from my order. I went in to order, around 3pm. The place was fairly dead, allot of people standing around talking. Too much distraction for them to come take my order. They looked straight at me 2-3 times and just kept standing there talking. This went on for 2:51 seconds, so I started to walk out. I can't believe I'm leaving a Yelp review for fast food, but here I am... This location is always painfully slow, but today was a whole different experience. I am a simple guy, with a simple order - number 7 (two cheeseburger meal). Guy working the drive thru had no idea what that was and kept saying they didn't have that meal, despite it being on the menu, and me ordering it plenty of times before. The guy couldn't even figure out how to individually add all that stuff to an order. Finally just gave up and left. I'm done with this place. It used to be amazing. I went there for twenty years, and it was great part of the East side. When I was in college, I'd do my homework there. The staff all knew me and so did the table of seniors that hung out and drank coffee all morning. Years later I'd take the kids there on rainy days so they could play at the Play Place. It was our home away from home. Becca always had the place running on all cylinders. Those days are long gone. For the past couple of years, almost every time we'd go there, our order would be messed up, and if we went inside, often we'd stand at the counter for several minutes and just be completely ignored for several minutes. Sometimes I'd pull out my phone and film them ignoring the customers. The customers would talk amongst themselves about how poorly the place was ran. People would get frustrated and leave. This was new norm. The most recent time I went inside (due to the long line in the drive thru and the fact that I needed to use the restroom), Carmen, the angry little manager that has absolutely destroyed this place, looked over at me, standing at the cash register and then continued doing what she was doing, which I would have patience for, but as I watched her for several minutes, it was clear to me that she wasn't doing anything that was urgent, and that, ONCE AGAIN(!!) me and the other customers were just being ignored. An "I'll be right with you, sir." would be nice, but there is just zero effort by this atrocious manager or from several members of her staff. On a recent visit, my wife and I ordered two milk shakes and were given what was basically milky syrup. When I turned the shake to the side to show that there was absolutely no thickness, the girl said "That's just how it come." I said "This isn't a milkshake. I don't want this." She replied "There's nothing we can do." I have a lot of stories about this place, from the last few years, as it went from being a pillar of our community, to the absolute embarrassment it is now, but if you've been there recently, I'm sure you already know. I know I'm not alone. Recently I saw a news story of a woman who stood at the counter being ignored so long that she got angry and said something about it and one of the managers slapped the customer in the face. Granted this customer was being extremely stupid and immature, but you don't slap a customer in the face. I mean, c'mon. If you doubt this simply go to YouTube and search "Customer loses it at Indianapolis mcdonald's" into the search. We still eat at McDonald's, almost daily. We love McDonald's!! But not this one. This one is an absolute embarrassment. Never again. It's worth driving a few extra miles to avoid this travesty. I wish I could go lower than one star. read more

The staff are great! The new owners suck! They have told staff that when someone asks for a glass of water to put in a large water and charge $1 - the same price for a large pop! A small water is .27. Not great, but I can deal. However,a large tap water now costs the same as a bottle of Dasani water, and I wasn't even told that. Come on! read more

Went through drive thru last night. A pissed off customer got out of her car, walked between my car and the window (second window receiving food) and started fighting with employee. The employee threw a drink, splattering on my car. She then Climbed out of window as the were fighting on top of my car. The employee rolled/slid down the front of my windshield, cracking my windshield. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Took my information so manager can contact me, haven't heard from them. Nothing irritates me more than being told,(in the drive-thru) to "pull ahead". Someone would bring it out. After waiting for twenty minutes for two meals I had to get out of my car anyways and go in. And imagine this????? MY FOOD WAS SITTING THERE COLD while several lazy employees wandered back and forth looking lost. The McDonald's near me is closed so we visited here. It looks like an apocalypse has happened here! The place is full of homeless people - not just regular homeless but the kind that smell and talk to themselves. No where to sit inside. Smelly and just down dirty inside. Food everywhere!! Dirty dirty. The manager is super over whelmed. Crew is moving so slow. Grill member is throwing sandwiches together. The old shift manager in me wanted to go in and take control. Drive thru was holding there own but can't imagine what their food looks like or taste like. I ordered a triple cheese, a strawberry banana smoothie, large sweet tea and had to wait over 40 min to get my food and it was wrong. I paid extra for peach tea that they didn't have. We did the computer ordering because we thought it would be faster. ( ... it wasn't faster...). They key board actually offered items that aren't available at that store. So I was compensated with a free cookie. My suggestion is to steer clear from this store for a long time!! read more

Said hello multiple times till I finally drove around to the first window just for the guy to have his back to the window and when he finally did turn around, there was a group of 3-4 young teenagers in a group talking and laughing. I had a larger order including hot-n-spicy chicken sandwiches, a chicken nugget meal, and an additional fry. When I received the order, the additional fry was not included. I showed the staff the bag and they still refused to provide the item I paid for, but offered to provide another fry if I paid for a new item. I ended up leaving and when I returned home, I found my sandwich buns burnt and the hot-n-spicy sandwiches were regular chicken sandwiches. Although this may seem trivial, this is not the first time where I have received poor service from this location and I will not go back. Most importantly, the staff members were not properly wearing their protective masks, which is more disturbing and concerning seeing as we are in the midst of a global pandemic. If you are near this restaurant, I would kindly suggest that you find another restaurant near by so you can save yourself a headache and potentially from receiving a deadly disease. read more

Its okay if you go inside. Most of the time and the play place is clean. However, anytime I go through the drive in I wait at least five minutes at the speaker before anyone responds. One time I waited as long as 10 only to find out that those inside were just simply not doing their job. No rush inside either. No apology and despite being one of two customers I still waited yet another ten minutes to make my order. And they had like four people rushing about and no one else in the drive-through. To add injury to insult it was only 6, maybe 7 in the evening. So its not like it was 3 Am with the skeleton crew. Avoid this one if you can. This McDonalds is the worst one I've EVER been too. Let's start with the good. That'll be short and sweet. Ready? Go. Our order was correct. Here's the bad. We pull in. A huge gang of sketchy kids hanging out by the front door being loud. So, you really can't even go through the front door without knowing whether or not you'll be attacked or accosted by them. We decided on the drive through instead. Pulled up to the speaker. Nothing. 2 minutes later, still nothing. So, I pull up to the window. Two people are standing there and I see a monitor on the wall with a camera directed right at the drive through lanes, so they KNEW we were there! There was absolutely NO recognition of us being there, so, we placed our order at the window. Pulled up to the second window, and nothing. No acknowledgement of our presence, just starts handing us our food. Then our drinks. No thank you or have a nice night. Nothing. So, we drove off. I've had other bad experiences at this same McDonalds, so this will be the last time we ever go here. I'm sure they don't care, but the feeling is mutual. read more
