This McDonald's is very involved with both customers and the community area. They hire students and work well with athlete schedules, school schedules and allow for flexibility for work/ life balance. Food is made fresh and delicious. I love the soda at McDonalds. Horribly inept, horrible service and they don't even know their own menu. Their manager needs fired, and their entire staff needs changed.

If I could go lower I would! The one star I guess can be for the quality of the food, it's good. I used to pass up three other McDonald's just to come to this particular one. A few years back, the employees pretty much knew me by name and usually I'm there twice a day 5 days a week. I still remember the kids playground. Recently the past last year it took a horrible turn for the worst! It's difficult since the update of 24hy to get inside the parking lot. You have one tiny driveway with a car trying to go south getting out you're trying to go north facing a car that's waiting for their food facing south! You have to make a sharp left turn in front of other cars trying to get out to get into the main parking lot without going through the drive-thru. Once parked and finally making it to the front door, inside you are welcome with these god-awful bells and whistles alarms telling the employees that the food is ready! Taking a seat of once upon a Time a full dining room. (NOT ANYMORE) far away from the kitchen you can still hear the screaming alarms beeb! beeb! beeb! beeb! And oh my God sometimes it kicks into this rapid fire beebbeebbeebbeeb! My mom was dying while being in a hospital with all those same kind of bells and whistles! At the unfriendly front counters no one attends to it and always the employees backs are turned away from you helping the drive-thru window. The new McDonald's want to dehumanize you like as they are saying to us use the f****** touch screen! We just want your money! Of course at one time McDonald's customer friendly service used to been excellent! Not so much anymore! Some younger employees are still are in this particular McDonald's. Behind the counter are old Hispanic speak "no English" speaking employees! I've seen it many times where a customer wants to pay at the front counter or has a concerns with basic stuff. They are shamed trying to do so! I've seen employees practically grabbing a hand of a customer to coach them towards the big touch screen. For some reason trying to talk to the elderly Mexican employees they look at you like you are stupid and won't help you when you have a complaint such as the bells and whistles! At times I've tried to speak to an English speaking young employees and their hands are tied! It's below the pay grade anyway. It's only getting a 1 star rating cause I couldn't rate a half a star. The customer service at this location is terrible. The Mexican lady at the front counter is rude, appears to be uneducated, and argumentative. How can she tell us the money was refunded back to our card because the ordered was canceled. If you don't come during rush hour (12-12:30) they actually do it very well and hardly ever mess up my order. The food may not be the most healthy but it is still good. And overall tthe area and ambiance is quiet and quite clean. read more

We ordered Quarter Pounder with cheese meal. The bins were not soft the meat was small like on a Big Mac. It was also very dry. We also ordered a Big Mac meal. Meat was dry very little sauce on it. I ordered a unsweetened tea and got a sweet tea. We ordered 2 McFlurrys. One M&M (they were bitter and only on the top and the ice cream had very little flavor like ice milk. This store needs better management! I live close and love McDonalds but this location has issues with the accuracy of orders. No one is checking the checker! Toget one full breakfast burrito you have to order two burritos. Poorly wrapped and hard and both ends are common. Food poorly presented such as hamburger patties half off the buns and one last visit NO hamburger patties on Big Mac. Seriously, pay for Big Mac with no meat. The McRibs are back! This has been the battle cry from McDonalds and fans of the McRib sandwich for years. I finally had one expecting to have an orgasm right there, but like a virgin on prom night was left lacking. So what is this big deal? In my opinion all the McRib is is a malformed burger with matching bun, bbq sauce and dill pickles. Needless to say, after all the hoopla, I was disappointed. I went into the tonight this McDonald's tonight ordered with a confused young lady at the counter. Was asked to rerun my card because it didn't work. I thought it strange because I saw that it was approved the first time. I got home and looked up bank information and found that I was charged twice. I called and called no answer. So I 3degree weather I got into car to go back and show my info to the manager. I was told that it was impossible to be charged twice and treated like I was a pos stealing from them and wanted something for free from them.basically called a liar and told that they would give my info to the district manager. I told that lady I'm fine I don't need the money to keep it they apparently needed enough to steal it from me. I am sick and tired of getting bad food from this McDonalds! Yesterday we got 4 hamburgers, and after eating I was extremely sick. My friend is terribly sick today, and we gave my dogs a little of the meat. Both of them are so sick today. The buns were stale as always! I think those burgers were from the day before! I had a bad customer service experience at the Indep McDonald's 11700 E. 24 Hwy very late on Sunday evening, but after calling the next day to contact the supervisor, Amber, at this location I'm a fan of this McDonald's. Supervisor Amber patiently listened to my complaint/situation on the phone, apologized and said that she will address the inappropriate issue immediately, and she also made up for my bad experience by offering me a good deal on food. This store is ridiculous, my family and i have been there several times to get ice cream on hot day and there is always some reason they dont have any or machine is down or whatever. You cant get this info from the near non existent in store mgr and the poor employees have to try to be subject to possible anger from patrons (like me).
