We wanted a quick breakfast on the way to skiing and even this was super busy it did serve super fast. Food came out as soon we ordered from the touch screen. It's attached to a convenient store and gas station

Appetizing?

A picture can be worth more or fewer than 1,000 words. It depends how long it takes to tell the story. In this case, fewer. After the Subway across the street made me nauseous before even taking a bite of my sandwich, this was only a slight improvement. I ordered fries and nuggets (you already know what they look like). Ate the fries but only took one bite of the nuggets. Just not an MCD guy. I should have known better than to eat on this block, which also contains a 6&40 Motel. I had never heard of this establishment, and I still don't know what it means. Possibilities: * Stay six hours and live with fleas for 40 nights * $6.40 per night * Six rooms and 40 beds I don't know. For all I know, it could look like The Four Seasons on the inside, so don't judge based on my review. If I'm going the subjective route on Idaho Springs as a whole, it might be the armpit of Colorado. As far as McDonald's goes, I would not recommend. However, I will say that the Asian girl with glasses at the counter was very friendly.

If you can see the bite mark from my front tooth as I bit into the sandwich.

I work in the medical field at the local clinic and I drive from Idaho Springs to Confer to get home. I stopped by Idaho Springs McDonalds and bought a spicey chicken sandwich, large fries and a large coke. I got halfway home and opened my chicken sandwich and bit into a band-aid that was left in my sandwich. I immediately stopped my truck to pull over and take a photo of the band-aid that was left in the sandwich. I turned around and drove back to the McDonalds and walked in and told them I was recording them to issue a complaint about the band-aid in my chicken sandwich. The manager right off stated that nobody there had any blue band-aids and I said I do not have any cuts on my fingers so this did not come from me. He walked back and asked his workers about it and again stated nobody had any blue band-aids. And I thought to myself, who would confess such a thing even if they DID have a band-aid? The manager was very rude to me and then went to get the supervisor. The supervisor tried to pull me aside and at that point I just asked for a refund for my meal and let them know that I would report this to the local health inspector, the news and social media. Nobody at that facility wanted to take responsibility for this incident. Also, when I was walking out of McDonalds, an employee told me to leave the facility and I told him I was leaving and asked why he stopped me in the first place. I am making everyone aware of this incident and hopefully do something about it. A recent update: Manger called me (unaware how this person got my number but it was a clear violation of my privacy) and offered a free meal. Really? Um..no. _______________________________________________________________

I don't even know how long it's been since I first got to know about this mountain town coffee…read moreshop. It's been on the "must go" list for a while but I finally had a chance to visit it on a beautiful mid-February day today. It sure was worth the drive and time all the way from the south Denver. The moment I stepped inside, the warm welcoming atmosphere was sensed. As soon as the lady upfront greeted me cordially, I felt more comfortable and relaxed. The instantaneous gratification hit me where I almost uttered "I am glad that I took the time to come here!" I wanted to peruse the menu. To my "Give me a moment" statement, the kind lady said "Of course, take your time. We also have a Valentine's Day special drink right here!". It was a white chocolate based mocha which sounded quite sweet so I asked her if it was sweet to which she said "It's very sweet but we can always adjust it to half the syrup!" All kinds of considerate words were made in each of her reply. I decided to go simple today; I went with the drip coffee which comes with unlimited free refills. The lady gave me one of the cups and told me where the pot that contained the drip was located. Alongside the pot, there was a super mini refrigerator that contained two jars of cold milk: one is half and half and the other is oat milk. What a kind care the shop does to keep them chilled. The simple drip coffee was just what I needed; it hit the spot. And tasted clean with no burnt notes at all. Quality coffee indeed. As I was immersed in this review writing in the ambient setting, the shop started to fill with guests. Although it's so tucked in this little mountain town, there appear to be "coffee fanatic fans" that know this place. And like me, I assume that many of them are not the local town folk. There is no wonder why they are drawn to it; they know where to find great coffee spots. I loved every single bit of this cozy place. My recommendation is only one of the multitude of others that know this place.

They were busy when we stopped in on a Saturday morning - busier than usual because apparently the other coffee shop was closed. The staff was apologetic for the chaos but they did an awesome job holding it down! I got an iced vanilla latte, the breakfast sandwich on bagel, and a donut. The donuts are from a local baker and they were delicious! The coffee was also very good. I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich but I think I didn't realize it did not automatically come with cheese. That's on me, so this is my tip to you - it's delicious and would be even better with cheese. There is a little bit of seating inside but a ton of seating outside, which was perfect because it was a nice day. You should definitely stop in if you happen to find yourself in Georgetown. I know I will!

I'm the furthest thing from a health nut you could imagine, but went with veggies wanting to give my hard working heart a tiny bit of a break! I expected sautéed, but it was basically an arugula salad under the egg. Greens, red onion, bell pepper, tomatoes... how does this work? AMAZING! DELICIOUS! Best bite I've had in months. They had some staffing issues so Mama herself (I'm guessing) was there to help out. Fantastic experience all around.
