Just before I got to the pick up window, there was only one car in front of me and that car took at least 10 minutes. While it was obvious that something was messed up with the order, the people in the drive thru kept discussing something with him and asked to see his phone showing the order he intended to pick up. This created a very long delay. Why didn't they have him pull into one of the available parking spots for pickup?? It was very clear that they should have directed him to pull off to the side or pull forward. Nevertheless, they kept trying to work with him for a very long time. Once I finally got to the window I was happy that they handed me my order right away. Down the road a bit, I realized that the contents of my order was incorrect. I turned around to go back to the restaurant. I went in and walked up to the "counter" hoping that maybe someone would help me out right away. Instead, the workers were focused on the drive thru and ignored the internal customers. Once I finally got their attention, a person that seemed to be the manager brought me what I thought was the correct meal. Once I returned home, it was clear that the meal was made incorrectly (with certain exclusions made clear through the app) and was missing an item. This was a very frustrating experience, especially since McDonalds was supposed to be a quick meal and a bit of a treat for my son!! This location continues to be, in my opinion, the worst McDonalds in Holland. My biggest issue is that this happens to be the closest location to my home.
