Super gross, should not be bugs crawling in the drink station. Clearly they are not cleaning nearly enough

2 minutes after 1030.. and I was scolded by Manager Ashton as to why I couldn't have breakfast. No big deal.. I ordered lunch.. jut then while I was filling my diet cokes.. I could hear Ashton talking smack about how I 'thought I could order breakfast anytime'. Very unprofessional!! Ashton can benefit from some additional training for sure!

Well done fries

UPDATE: It's about 5:30 6/7/20 and I'm angry because I…read moredidn't get the name of the young lady working the counter. Of course this is COVID time. The tables and chairs are piled in a corner. Everyone is social distancing, its very eerie. There's no eye contact, no verbal communication amongst customers. Everyone is just scattered thru the dining room, heads down waiting to be called. But in amongst this malaise there's a young lady, she's gracious, attentive and friendly. She's taking orders and packing them and calling names. The rest of the staff is overwhelmed and have there heads down working hard. It's obvious their understaffed. Their out of beans and rice and the next two burly truck drivers are obviously disappointed with the news yet she charms them and gets the substitute, apologizing and they are chuckling as they leave. The line never shortens and as each customer is dealt with she takes care of them. Their running out of things. People are waiting longer than normal (not terribly). And she's just handling it all. His foods taking to long "Would you like a drink while you wait?" He says yes and smiles. Oops their now out of biscuits. Would you like a apple pie...? Another satisfied customer. A gentleman seems a tad confused but she knows him and knows what he wants. It's actually very engrossing to watch her bob and weave through everything coming her way. She deserves some recognition if anyone from Popeyes reads this. And so does the rest of the team, especially the manager for keeping everything going through a difficult patch. This is why I drive all the way from Flagstaff for my families Popeyes fix. Quit awhile ago: I've eaten at Popeyes since the mid 70s (ouch) from the East coast across the Deep South to the West coast and it's been a real mixed experience. But I've always kept them in my loop because when it's good it's my favor style of fried chicken. This truck stop Popeyes is by far my FAVORITE of all those I've visited. I stopped for gas on my way home and had a good experience. I purposely stopped a year later and wasn't disappointed. This last visit was absolutely the best EVER. Welcoming, warm friendly and accommodating staff, CLEAN restaurant, hot, fresh spicy chicken and all the sides tasted great. I sat down and ate and watched. I've had 35 years in the restaurant business and what I saw from customer to customer is the holy grail of food service. Everyone was treated with courtesy and respect. Questions were answered, guidance give, smiles offered. Come on, it's just fast food chicken! Well maybe it is. But when you're on the road and have little or NO expectation other than just OK. This place left me satisfied and smiling.

I don't normally leave negative reviews but I'll tell you what this whole TA truckstop is an…read moreabsolute filthy mess. I don't know about the food. I stood there in front of a lady that was packing away on the computer didn't greet me or anything made me wait for three or four minutes I got tired and walked off. No need to get chicken here so I went over to the gas station portion to get a snack and some coffee you talk about filth and dirty disgusting.
