We honestly thought it was just a coffee shop, but it turned out to be the perfect place for a light meal and a relaxing break. The shop has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with unique décor featuring photos of the local community and its history, which gave it a lot of character. There are several seating options, including high-top tables for two, lower tables with four chairs, and bar seating. The menu offers much more than coffee--they also serve sandwiches, ice cream, and other drinks. We ordered the Southwest Chicken Quesadilla, which came with a side of salsa, and it was absolutely delicious. To drink, we had the Raspberry Cream Soda and the Detox Water with strawberries, lemons, blueberries, and cucumbers. Both were refreshing, and the detox water was especially good. The background music was just right--not too loud, making it easy to enjoy a conversation. The shop was spotless, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The ladies behind the counter were welcoming, and the gentleman who prepared our food did an outstanding job. This was the perfect way to wrap up our visit to the area. We left with full bellies, great conversation, and a wonderful last stop before hitting the road. They also have breakfast items, crepes, salads, sandwiches, ice cream, and some pretty fancy coffee drinks. Now about those hot dogs: We tried the Take It Easy dog (ketchup, mustard, diced onions) and the Kansas dog (bacon, cheese, and BBQ sauce). The Take It Easy may have standard toppings but the dog and bun are excellent. The Kansas dog was supreme. The dog, bun, and the toppings were fantastic. I don't know why the little town of Winslow has such good hot dogs but it just shows you never know what you may find.

Most of the diners were Navajo and Hopi Elders including an elderly Native War Veteran. I will never forget the kind service, the home made food and the genuine warmth of this place which also serves as a meeting spot for the Community. We ordered extra meat on each item and only one we could tell that it got it. Each item there was something we added along with extra meat. You could barely tell if that extra item even got put on like onions. We put our order in and was paying with cash. It took 5 minutes to get someone to take our money. Just watch one of the workers running to Safeway. Taco Bell has been our favorite fast food place to eat at, but we came to Winslow from Mesa to visit the town and the experience here was the worst we have ever had. We will never eat at this Taco Bell again. The experience here made me download Yelp and leave this comment. I have never left a comment before.
