PROS + beautiful, well-maintained golf course/grounds within view of the dining room + outdoor dining is also available + super friendly, efficient bartender (she's been there every single Wednesday I come in during 2023) + decent food... comes out hot and fresh! + moderately priced + many key places are within the vicinity (see my list below) + pro shop is next door + casual dress code is okay CONS I feel like the dining area could use a makeover. Also, the last visit to the women's restroom there was no soap in the dispenser (4/26/2023). I mentioned that several key campuses and sights were nearby. RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 4.5 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 4 | Price: 3 PARKING Parking is free and ample. LOCATION/AMBIANCE This small restaurant is located in the same building as Kountry Korral. Just like the name says, it has outlaw memorabilia scattered throughout. The seating arrangements are mainly for small groups or couples. THE GRUB They have a pretty nice selection of items on their menu. I was anticipating a large protein-filled dinner later in the evening, so I opted for the New Mexican salad ($16.29). I highly recommend this salad with jalapeño Ranch dressing... it was fresh and loaded with so many wonderful colors and flavors: fresh greens, tomato, onion, shredded cheese, croutons, tortilla chips, pico de gallo, and guacomole. My kiddos begged me to bring them spaghetti for our Friday lunch date at school. You can order this kid's menu item with meat sauce, plain sauce, or with meatballs. My daughters both loved their meatballs. Each plate came out to $11.97 and did not come with anything else - no bread, side salad, or drink. Kind of steep if you ask me. LITTLE YELPER'S CLUB They definitely have a decent kid's menu, however, I didn't get any photos of it. Next time! SERVICE Very friendly over the phone. Quick to assist in person. They had my takeout ready for me when they said they would. MY FAVORITE PART... The New Mexican salad. I'd probably add steak next time. NOT SO FAVORITE PART... Higher-priced entrees. TIP Phone orders are ready for takeout within about 20 minutes.

The restaurant is owned and run by some older people who still were hustling to get everyone's food and kept the coffee refilled. No printed menu...just tell the waitress what you want...I ordered eggs and bacon and it also came with hash browns. The eggs were cooked perfectly! There was one regular who started talking to us and then went and got his food and ate with us. He was a funny and fun character. He had so many jokes....one for every letter of the alphabet....and more! The owners have a huge collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia. The decor is in showcases and the place is well lit. We arrived before they opened and there were others already waiting for them to open. We highly recommend this fun friendly place!!!

While the fries were scrumptious and still piping hot by the time I brought my takeout home, the burger was a bit dry and lacked flavor. The cheese was not fully melted. One strip of fried onion ring - not even a whole one - was stacked on top. Lol. It wasn't terrible, but just mediocre. For $25.34, it's a big no from here on out. The waitress/hostess/takeout order lady was extremely nice, but overwhelmed. Spill root beer all down the side my cup, yet, she apologized. I forgive her because she was a hustler, baby! Big plus was it was ready when they said it would be. RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 3 | Service: 4.5 | Ambiance: 3 | Price: 2

Nonetheless the burger I had was fair, all the toppings come on the side (build your own) style. And the patty is seasoned well. I enjoyed curly fries as my side and they give more than enough. Also ordered their fried pickles and I absolutely love how they came. The sliced up pickle and crunch w every bite. Definitely would recommend. It's a cute lil drive thru spot but you can also get down and order through the window. Service was 10/10. The cashier quickly greeted us and told us a quick rundown about what they had, and where to order. There was so much food to pick from and it was hard to pick just one meal. I ended up ordering half a chicken with mashed potatoes and a potato salad. My husband ended up ordering three crunchy brisket tacos. We sat down and people kept trickling in. Our food didn't take too long and a different employee dropped it off. She was also very friendly and attentive. My chicken was delicious and HUGE. I couldn't finish it, so I had to take it on home. The sides are small, but they also accompanied my dish with a bread roll, some barbecue sauce, and a jalapeño with onions. My husband loved his brisket tacos and loved them even more after he poured some bbq sauce on top. They are also a market so they sell a lot of goods, fresh meat, and dairy.
