McDonald's on Grimes. Gave them a rest because of poor food. Anyway, today, 08/14/26, we needed a quick meal on our way home. Ordered a 4 piece chicken strip, only got 3 . Please learn how to count. Will probably not order from here for awhile... again Sad because it's convenient read more

ONE OF THE WORST MCDONALD EVER. I ordered a mc crispy deluxe for made to order with the intention of waiting but the food come out in a couple of secs. I took it but when i was reaching into the veg to eat my fires, it was cold and hard to swallow so i went back and told them. They said okay when in the back and got the fries. IT WAS STILL COLD. UNBELIEVABLE read more

This place is slow EVERY time. Drive through, inside, order ahead... doesn't matter. You wait forever and then are lucky to get the right order... needs serious improvements. read more

McDonald's that gets our order right every time This location is updated inside. It's so nice to come here and have a meal. Family friendly. Staff is great. We have never really waited too long for food. Inside we have our food brought to us. Service is almost close to Chick-fil-A! This McDonald's is always busy. Don't know why there are such low reviews of this McDonald's. It definitely should have higher. read more

McDonald's - Kids crowding around table top game systems. These were just added!! Three systems available at this location!! - Fast Food Near Me - Grimes, Iowa

It's McDonald's and the meals are up to standard in my opinion but the customer service is a bit lacking and they seem forgetful with orders, so make sure you check before you leave. The interior decor is modern with televisions almost at every seat. read more

Soooooo sloooowww I ordered 8 minutes ago, sprite and fries and still no one has brought us our order. Fries and a sprite it doesn't take that long. read more

this is the worse freaking store, you order anything and they take forever to come out do not go there. zero star grime store 101 gateway

Ordered my food off Uber eats and I had to wait an hour an a half. Ended up canceling and getting a refund.

I do not know why I keep going back to this location other than it close to where I'm usually at. Every single time the order is wrong. Every time. I specifically said no ketchup and it was on the screen correctly. It came out with extra ketchup, I also requested to sub mustard. I heard the gal holler back to remake it and she got it correct. It was not at all. There zero condiments other than cheese. Thanks for the dry burger. Wow. Just wow. read more

I had McDonald's on The Military Wallet listing any combo free for Veteran's Day. I read to article to the black teenager 3 times. She condesendingly asked, DO YOU HAVE A COUPON? I said I'll pull up and you can read it. I drove to the window and let her see it on my phone. She said we have a military discount but no free combo. So said I'll go get my manager. A 16-year old with glasses came to the window. She snot-nosed said, Oh we don't do that. As a 40-year mystery shopper I have ever seen such rude inept employees. I would reccomend that all my brethren in arms boycott this place for their crappy treatment of veterans. read more

This McDonald's has a manager that is incompetent. I ordered 2 triple cheeseburgers, along with other things. They didn't give me a receipt to double check my order, or leave the order up on the screen long enough for me to double check, I even asked for a receipt and they said their printer wasn't working. I received two single cheeseburgers, and when I told them I ordered triple cheeseburgers they said to keep the single cheeseburgers and they will fix it. Then the manager says that I need to pay for triple cheeseburgers and give back the others, after The other workers said to just keep them , I had already given them to my kid. I am so angry with how they Acted as if it was my fault, when I clearly ordered correctly. read more

The staff at this location need a serious lesson on customer service. From the moment you get into the drive thru to getting your food, they are absolutely rude. I get maybe having a hard day and what not but the attitude is real at this store. Yelling over the intercom claiming you don't sell ice cream products at all was also childish. Most people just start with a "our ice cream machine is broken". If your having a bad day and what a reason to yell I recommend going here. Other than that this location was absolutely the least professional and most childish, rude location I have ever been to. Also half ass your food and mess up orders often but I think that's most fast food places anymore. read more

This last meal I ordered through the app was on point. Fries were hot and fresh, Big Mac was made exactly how I asked for it. So far I haven't had any hiccups from this McDonalds. read more

Very poor customer service, very rude! Employees cussed out a 14 year old girl because of miscommunication. Asked to speak to manager and they refused to let me speak to the manager. Food was cold, very sloppy and was handled poorly. Doesn't even deserve one star. Very disappointed. read more

Rude employees when they're busy. I'm paying a ridiculous amount of money for fries and they can't even fill them all the way. It's just irritating when other locations fill the fries full. read more

It's McDonald's, you're under a rock if you haven't eaten it at some point in your life. So I won't comment on the food. I think this location might have some of the best employees around. Friendly, apologetic and sincere for wait times. It's gotten me to come back well that and it's the most clean McDonald's I've ever been in. read more

Love the online menu and big tablet, what's what my kids call it. They LOVE ordering on there

Food is okay. Service is just okay. Very slow place. Newly remodeled yet the place is absolutely disgusting. Just clean something. A table to start. Then maybe the disaster that is the beverage dispenser area. I doubt they will have time to actually get the floors so just start with a table. One star for how gross this place constantly is. read more

My family and I were passing through on our way home and we received the worse customer service I have ever had. The person was rude when we ordered, paid, and received our food. It was 15 min before they closed on Sunday the 3rd 2018 and our order was wrong and food was cold. Horrible read more

had the #1 mcdouble of my life at this restaurant. someone in the kitchen is getting creative with the addition of pepper. someone tell corporate there is a culinary genius wasting his potential at the grill (or don't...there could be some recrimination in store for this local "Alton Brown" and his or her deviation from the recipe). anyways, he or she is on to something BIG. #1 MCDOUBLE right here in GRIMES. read more
