Haven't gone to this McDonalds in a while (have avoided them, due to horrible service and a stiff full of elderly people who clearly didn't care about service or putting forth any effort). I drove by a few times during lunch, and saw that the line wasn't horrendously long anymore, and decided to give em another try. To my pleasant surprise, the much of the staff have been replaced by younger workers who actually put forth effort and say please+thank you. Ticket time was good and my order was correct and hot. Still not sold that this places is great, but it looks like things are trending in the right direction. I may try them again soon. At the very least I would no longer urge people to avoid this place at all costs. read more

I have just started working in this area and have attempted 3 times to have lunch here. unfortunately I have left this McDonald's TWICE do to poor service and rude employees. I honestly have missed half my lunch break just waiting to order. the one time out of 3 that i actually got my food "had to eat while driving because of the wait" the fries where old cold and stale. the coke was flat n melted with no straw " I just love driving while eating and needing a drink out of a large coke with no straw". Ordered chicken sandwich at drive thru, paid for entire order (food for daughter and for dog), after waiting for food, they tell me that there is no chicken and offer to refund the chicken, leaving me with a bag of the rest of the meal. You would think that would be a major thing to be out of and would know it when the last one was ordered and maybe inform people taking orders! This is poor management. In my opinion the ONLY reason this McDonalds could still be in business is because there aren't many other fast food restaurants in Granger. Employees are rude, the second drive thru lane is rarely open although the only way to find out is to sit there and watch the other line pass you as you wait and wait and wait. Lastly, it is incredibly dirty. Devil is in the details ... I asked for more than two ketchups for my children's large fry and the cashier aggressively grabbed two handfuls of ketchups and shoved them at me. She honestly held them out to me as my hands were full. I asked her to put them in the bag that was sitting on the counter and she acted like I asked her to put them on my fries and feed them to me. I am surprised she didn't crack a tooth saying "have a nice day" through her gritted teeth. Sorry, this is out of order! After waiting in the drive thru for a while I went inside and waited 10 minutes to order and 15 additional minutes for a happy meal and chicken nuggets. Please keep in mind that they were NOT busy. After some people who ordered after me were served I asked if I could have my drink. Apparently, my order wasn't entered into the system even though I was standing there with a receipt. The restaurant was a complete mess. Food crumbs, ice cream topping, and trash everywhere behind the counter. I waited so long that I needed to take a bathroom break. Sadly enough, the bathroom may have been the cleanest area in the restaurant. This place really needs a visit from the health department. If you don't have kids screaming for a happy meal then do yourself a favor and drive a little further. You'll be glad you did! read more

I ordered a double quarter pounder w/cheese meal large 2 double cheese burgers and a medium fry through the app. When I got home with the order the double quarter pounder was missing and in its place I got a McDouble. I called the store and they said bring it back and they would replace the missing items. Seeing as I picked this food up on the way home I was not willing to get back into the car and drive back to the restaurant. The person I talked to said all she could do was take my name and the messed up items. They would replace the items next time I come to the restaurant. Not sure that I will do business with this store in the future, seeing as this is not the first time they have screwed up. read more

Horrible. This is the worst McDonald's in the South Bend area. I have given this place many chances. They always forget something or the food is cold. The employees and management are rude if you complain to them. The last straw for me was getting into an argument with a shift manager about being forgotten about in the drive thru. read more

The worst service in town. All the employees were standoffish and honestly I wanna call corporate bc it's not that hard to say thank you and you're welcome. They got our order wrong after we tried to confirm it twice and were assured that it was correct in the system. When we went in we didn't even get a sorry or an apology for messing up our order or the fact that they straight lied to us about the order being correct. Deadass will never come here again. Worst customer service, ordered food through Uber eats and a when received everything was stale and cold, looked like my younger sibling pulled some food out the garbage and threw it together. Then when I called to tell them, the lady had the audacity to say "everything was fresh" as if the stale food was not in front of me during the call. Will not get Uber eats or food from you guys in the future. Lack of respect for me during the phone call and then she acted as if I was on hold and didn't respond when I talked. Went through today and ordered chicken nuggets and fries and I loveee the McDonald's ranch so I was excited when I saw they remembered to put it in then I go to grab them and all of them besides one were open and we had ranch all over our napkins and chicken nugget box's, it was bad enough our chicken nuggets were over cooked and dry and the only way to make them good was the ranch, but we couldn't even use the ranch nor napkins. Then we ordered a sandwich with light ketchup and light mustard and there was a lot of mustard and basically no ketchup, gotta try harder then that. Very disappointed. read more

In the last 6 months the wait time at this McDonalds has been extremely slow. It makes no difference the time of day,the day,or what I order. At 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon I had a 25 minute wait time in the drive thru for 2 beverages. I would have gotten out of line if I could have. Used to be good but in the last month it's gotten really bad. Drink menu cut. Half the drinks gone. No more diet Dr Pepper. The TV is turned off. If there was half a star that's what I'd give. Went through the drive thru and with no cars immediately behind us we were asked to pull to the waiting spot. Food finally came after nearly 15 minutes and it was wrong. The employee took the bag back inside. We expected it to be corrected and brought back out. Wrong. After another 10 minutes my wife went in and we found the employee back to work and had notified no one that we sat waiting for the correct food.
