I reluctantly ordered from here on DoorDash. I hesitate to order McDonald's on DoorDash or Uber eats because in 2026 it usually feels like your food was made by somebody who hates you. This experience was no different. When I do order on DoorDash, I make a point of it to call the restaurant ahead of time and just ask them to have a bit of you know basic service skills, and decency and try to make the food fresh This McDonald's refused to answer the phone. I mean the phone rang like 100 times and they refused to answer it and then I tried to call again and I got a business signal meaning that they took the phone off the hook. Claims to be open 24/7 but they close randomly at obscure times. If you're nightshift, you can't count on them at all because they're bound to be close randomly between 12am-4am. I've personally shown up at around 10pm for a late night meal, only for them to be closed. They constantly forget to give sauce, have sodas that are always either flat or have no syrup at all, fully ignore requests for no pickles or no onions, etc. They have a few decent employees, but they're always the young bright eyed ones. They're one of the only places open late, and both me and my boyfriend work nightshift. Why is at this location, with two drive thru lanes, that one lanes moves quicker than the other? Sometimes two, three or four. cars will go through one lane while you're sitting waiting at the speaker in the other. My subordinate feels no shame going to McDonald's, we actually like their apple pies, breakfast items, and of course their Coca Cola, there is no equal. This location was small, and they have a lot of traffic, so it's very crammed in here. The tables were dirty, the floors were sticky, I could feel my sneakers stick to the floor. Good exercise I suppose. But they do have a play place, very awesome. And to the kid that's hogging the slide, slide down faster for heaven sake.... got business to do here. Service with a smile! This is our neighborhood McDonald's. I drive thru breakfast, lunch and dinner frequently. I am pleased to say that most of the time, the staff has been friendly. The only time that I felt slighted was during Monopoly season. Many McDonald's staff seem unwilling to honor the coupons with a light heart. Franchises need to give HQ feedback if these coupons are a burden on them to honor. Tonight, I am happy to say that service was fast. Food poisoning to a whole new level: I've been eating at this McDonald's for over a decade, since I live in the nearby area. Never had actual issues with my food- it was McDonald's. I got what I paid for, ya know? But today was different, my brother and I believe we were actually poisoned (accidentally). He and I ordered completely different meals, but the only same items we got were a large sweet tea and fries. After taking the first sip of the tea, however, we both realized right away something was different. It tasted much more bitter than usual, but we thought the brew must have just been off. 10 minutes after finishing our meal, we both started getting the same odd symptoms. We became extremely dizzy, short of breath, and had headaches forming between our brows/behind our eyes. It felt like a hangover and a slight asthma attack happening all at once. We ate 3 hours ago, and after taking vitamins and drinking tons of water, I am still feeling those side effects now (not as strong, thankfully). Our theory of these side effects-- that the cleaning chemicals used to clean and disinfect the tea dispenser were not completely washed out. It's the only thing we can think of that makes sense. I tried giving that location a call, but no one answered the phone. So I wanted to put my grievance here, hoping it never happens again! The curb-appeal was impressive and the dual drive through was appreciated. I placed my order, "Diet Coke please" and when the kind drive-through attendance asked if I wanted to add an egg white McMuffin I gladly obliged. The drive through was quick and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised the egg white McMuffin was only $2 whereas in San Diego it's over $4!
