This has to be the worst run McDonald's on the eastern shore. The parking spots for using the apps are useless, I have to end up going in to get my order most of the time. After waiting for 15 minutes in the designated spot I went inside. The pick up area was swarming with unhappy people also waiting on their orders. There was no team leader to help get them back on track. Employees were unbothered like they were at a Sunday picnic. After waiting another 10 minutes inside I could see my order number sitting on a shelf behind the counter. I had to ask them to hand me my food and then to get my drink. Ridiculous, last straw for me. Burger King's employees are much more efficient and professional. My recommendation is: don't stop here. I'm attaching a photo of one of the sandwiches from my order. Stuck in beach traffic. Dinner time. Need a pee and food break. The child wanted McD's. We chose the wrong fast food place on the entire strip of highway. They didn't do one thing right. I ordered using the computer screen. After an unfeasibly long wait, someone dropped off a tray of food to me. Wait. No cup for drink. Had to go get that. Sat down. Discovered they put no napkins on the tray. Had to go get that. Opened up my quarter pounder. It was smothered with onions. SO MANY ONIONS. Scraped those off. Below that was the slice of cheese. It was barely on the burger, most of it was off. For the love of all things orange, can you not take a nano second to center a piece of cheese? read more

Probably one of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. From incomplete and messed up orders to long waits and HORRIBLE customer service. They throw your order in the bad. The many homeless people outside will approach you begging. Stay away. read more

I ordered a mc doubled and go to eat it and they didn't put any ketchup on it and no cheese!

Absolutely HORRIBLE! Stay away from this disgusting business. I witnessed a female employee pushing a trash can from the bathroom next to the fry area. She looked up at the screen and started filling the order. No gloves and did not wash her hands. I immediately asked for the manager and told him what I saw. All he did was toss out all the fries waiting and told her to wash her hands. The manager was very rude. This happened about a month ago. read more

Georgetown, Delaware is a way station on Route 113, an otherwise back road that rolls along the eastern shore of Virginia and Maryland into Delaware until it merges with Route 1 up around Dover. If you need to make a pit stop, this is the place to do it. Mickey D's is clean and modern and a good choice, especially with kids. The victuals are a constant; never better or worse than any other, making comparatives meaningless. But, this new design for a mini-McDonald's has its flaws. It is obviously designed for drive thru purchases, and thus the line of cars is much longer than the queue of folks at the counter within. The bathrooms are single occupant. Being a pedestrian is a challenge here. Although there is ample parking, everyone is required to walk through the drive thru lane to reach the entrances. With young kids this is a problem as it makes for constant danger as the drivers and foot traffic try to negotiate with each other. It seems like a faulty design and an accident waiting to happen. Hungry kids in cars and on foot. Harried parents...You get the picture. Just be very careful not to fall into the moat and get eaten by crocodiles. read more

She did not allow us to change our order as it came up on the screen just simply stated the price and said we would have to add it later. Literally only gave this place a 1 star because thats the lease amount I can give. I have been here multiple times and have never had a good experience. We have waited in the drive through for a half hour with no movement from the cars and no option to go inside because the doors are locked. You try to order ahead on the app to make it easier and you get to the window and they say they can't do mobile orders.. not sure if this was for just the specific days we have been here or if it is just this restaurant. Literally every time I have been here, they have messed up my order. I like to order ahead so I can make sure there's no sauces or anything extra on my sandwiches as I am a very plain eater. After even stressing this to the intercom, somehow it goes lost in translation and we've had to go back around to the drive through multiple times to get it right. Also, the staff seems very overworked. Could be because of staffing issues just like everywhere else but even before the pandemic, the staff has been very rude. They're usually great especially considering how busy they can get. However, this time they served me and my two toddlers burnt fries. I mean the entire batch was crispy. Didn't feel like waiting for another batch so I never went back to return the fries and ask for different ones. Efficient and friendly service at this clean McDonalds, free wifi for customers, bathrooms, two TV screens with English subtitles, etc. The staff took a customized order graciously. It was easy and free to park on their private parking lot. read more

Meal was maid fast and the customer service was good. Parking lot is a little uncomfortable if you are driving with a big trailer or coach, but if you have skills driving you will be able to get around. Suggestion go to the back of the Mc D's as the parking tends to be less hectic. read more
