Let me start by saying the dining room was filthy. This a new restaurant and is lacking management oversight. They also need to have the front staffed to take orders. A common "complaint" we heard as we waited on our food. We ordered....drum roll. The BIG Arch, fries and a coke, 2 cheeseburgers, fries coke, a double cheeseburger, spicy McChicken, large fries and a coke. Greeted quickly and our order was taken fairly quickly. This restaurant has the "kiosk" front and center for which I'm not a fan. The food arrived in 10 minutes.. The fries were ICE Cold. Seriously. Not warm, cold. We had the guy take them back and replace them! He also took the burgers back with him. The food arrived and fries appeared as if they had been refried. No salt, darker in color. Burgers were cold. The big arch was horrible. One bite and I was done. I discussed our concerns with the assistant manager, Zo. He took issue with us right away. Especially, when I demanded a full refund. I refuse to pay for slop. He took my receipt and went outside to call someone. It's interesting there is a number front and center that says call (903) 718-6755 with any concerns or issues. I called the number and left a message regarding our experience. Here's the deal...I worked at McDonalds. I have great expectations but am fair as you can see by my other 5 star McDonalds reviews. This entire experience was horrible and fell incredibly short of what McDonalds strives for. We received a full credit and left. I'll be curious to see If I get a return phone call. Bottom line it's up to patrons to not accept bad service or bad quality food. At today's price's it's super reasonable to expect hot fries and burgers. I wouldn't classify it a racial issue, more like McDonald's intentionally hires people who don't speak or really comprehend English. worst McDonalds ever!!!! we all know McDonalds has gone to shit but this one is by far the worst one I've ever dealt with. They always shut down the lobby even though the sign and website says it should be open and shut down a drive through lane at the same time. it's bad enough there's no room already in this parking lot. you try to call they will pick up the phone and hang it up. when you do go inside not one person will greet you. and you can stare them down in the kitchen and they just look away or walk away. they are rude and let's just agree their crap was easier to deal with when they were cheap enough to feed your kids when your broke. But not anymore. I've contacted corporate more than once about this location becabuse I'm only still coming in because I'm a dasher and I have to pick up from there. When I contact corporate all I get is an email back telling me to contact door dash or uber so they do not even care enough to really read anything. As for this McDs, no complaints. Food is consistent for a McDs. Service is good. Not much else to say.

First off, I have never had a bad drive through experience here and 95% of the time I'm just driving through. The food is consistent, everything moves quickly, and the only mistakes they've made have been in my favor! That said, the inside is newly renovated but it's pretty dark and funky. I get that they're going for a throwback 70s McDonald's look, but it's weird. I don't mind eating inside, but it isn't great. Bathrooms are medium-clean. Overall I've been to many many MUCH worse McDonald's, so I'm glad this one is in town! read more

Why doesn't this corporation hire good employees? At this location the employees did not care about being at work or customer service at all. We ordered 2 sandwiches and waited 10 min. While waiting, one worker in the back kept yelling "I want to go home!" I asked for a dipping sauce and the front worker tossed it on the tray, with a look of disgust. Both meals came out incorrect. This Gainesville, Texas McDonald's has to be the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I ordered a Smokehouse Bacon Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich and they gave me a Mushroom Swiss Burger. YUCK!!! I also ordered a McFlurry and they gave me a empty cup with a lid. I gave it back. Waited 15 minutes and had to go inside to see what was taking so long. Terrible. The 2 stars this place has is too high a score. Let me break this down 1. We came here last night after dropping our daughter off at a birthday party and the girl on the speaker was R. U. D. E. (Really Ugly Demeaning & Egregious). 2. They do t ask if you want any condiments so if you don't ask they will not give them to you 3. We came to pick our daughter up today and stopped to get breakfast (2nd chance) and still didn't ask about jam or ketchup, so of course I had to go back in 4. Last night and today, both, no napkins included 5. Today the girl at the window asked us what we ordered instead of being on the ball and KNOWING what we ordered. 6. So when I go back in for jam, napkins and ketchup I see, NO LIE, 6 workers gathered around another worker showing them something on his phone and you can plainly hear that it is none work related. This is why they didn't know what I ordered and why you'll never get napkins or condiments without asking. The Assistant manager is standing right there so OBVIOUSLY NONE of them have any respect for her. There was ONE person walking around cleaning and there needed to be more because although I was there for only 3 min I saw ketchup splats on the self serve drink counter, plastic lids falling out of the holder and food still on the floor. I make a living cleaning up messes like this where a company drops the ball with all the little stuff and this place didn't drop the ball, they never knew they had a ball. Employee/S abandoned shift on 12/26/16 @ 1:30am. Greeted me on the intercom then left me sitting in the drive through for 15 minutes. When we pulled up, there was a SUV with 3-4 older teens at the other ordering screen, which I'm pretty sure it's their friends because they were ordering for literally 10 minutes. Then pulled up, which is when we started our wait time. We gave up after 15 minutes and pulled to the window, we knocked and no one was inside.
