Let me start by saying the dining room was filthy. This a new restaurant and is lacking management oversight. They also need to have the front staffed to take orders. A common "complaint" we heard as we waited on our food. We ordered....drum roll. The BIG Arch, fries and a coke, 2 cheeseburgers, fries coke, a double cheeseburger, spicy McChicken, large fries and a coke. Greeted quickly and our order was taken fairly quickly. This restaurant has the "kiosk" front and center for which I'm not a fan. The food arrived in 10 minutes.. The fries were ICE Cold. Seriously. Not warm, cold. We had the guy take them back and replace them! He also took the burgers back with him. The food arrived and fries appeared as if they had been refried. No salt, darker in color. Burgers were cold. The big arch was horrible. One bite and I was done. I discussed our concerns with the assistant manager, Zo. He took issue with us right away. Especially, when I demanded a full refund. I refuse to pay for slop. He took my receipt and went outside to call someone. It's interesting there is a number front and center that says call (903) 718-6755 with any concerns or issues. I called the number and left a message regarding our experience. Here's the deal...I worked at McDonalds. I have great expectations but am fair as you can see by my other 5 star McDonalds reviews. This entire experience was horrible and fell incredibly short of what McDonalds strives for. We received a full credit and left. I'll be curious to see If I get a return phone call. Bottom line it's up to patrons to not accept bad service or bad quality food. At today's price's it's super reasonable to expect hot fries and burgers. Ray Krok would be super disappointed. read more

Horrible, absolutely horrible. I guarantee that if you are hispanic you will get help quicker. I wouldn't classify it a racial issue, more like McDonald's intentionally hires people who don't speak or really comprehend English. You have a white older manager speaking mostly English and half ass spanglish like the employees act like they give a damn. That's evident by the amount of orders that actually come out correctly, but that can also be taken into consideration that the whole English barrier is a hindrance, but management should only blame themselves. read more

I actually had a great experience at this location recently. Thanks to an employee named Brendan. He was very attentive and professional.

Yummy hash browns, good fries, sometimes forgets strawberry jelly, but overall yums :)

worst McDonalds ever!!!! we all know McDonalds has gone to shit but this one is by far the worst one I've ever dealt with. They always shut down the lobby even though the sign and website says it should be open and shut down a drive through lane at the same time. it's bad enough there's no room already in this parking lot. you try to call they will pick up the phone and hang it up. when you do go inside not one person will greet you. and you can stare them down in the kitchen and they just look away or walk away. they are rude and let's just agree their crap was easier to deal with when they were cheap enough to feed your kids when your broke. But not anymore. I've contacted corporate more than once about this location becabuse I'm only still coming in because I'm a dasher and I have to pick up from there. When I contact corporate all I get is an email back telling me to contact door dash or uber so they do not even care enough to really read anything. Oh and they will cancel an online order when they do not want to make it. Don't waste your time or money here read more

An older lady who took our order had an attitude right away. Wouldn't let me finish taking my order and tried rushing me. Crispy deluxe was made poorly and seemed rush. On a middle of the week drive up to Gainesville from Dallas, by the time we arrived ... well, someone needed as restroom. We both needed coffee. Normally a McD's would not generally earn a three star review, but the restrooms were sparkling clean, and the service staff was genuinely friendly and professional. Kudos to the leadership team for hiring well and training well. read more

I used to love McDonald's now it's like going to Walmart they want you to do all the work, the lady there told me you have to put in your own order cause all the older people want you to say good morning or how are you today and we don't have time for that, this will be the last time i spend my money at Mcdonald's read more

I used the online app for my order. Seemed easy enough. They completely messed up my very simple order. I ordered a fish sandwich and when I got home I got chicken McNuggets instead. I don't like chicken McNuggets! Next time I will check my order before I leave the parking lot! read more

Horrible drivethru service before ordering im told it will only be cash. I ask for sec to check if I have enough money but she quickly wanted a yes or no? I order my food drive up & pay & I'm only give half the order ‍ 15$ for a combo I think not! I'm told I didn't order none of the things I'm missing on my order but how is it that I was charged for it read more

As for this McDs, no complaints. Food is consistent for a McDs. Service is good. Not much else to say.

First off, I have never had a bad drive through experience here and 95% of the time I'm just driving through. The food is consistent, everything moves quickly, and the only mistakes they've made have been in my favor! That said, the inside is newly renovated but it's pretty dark and funky. I get that they're going for a throwback 70s McDonald's look, but it's weird. I don't mind eating inside, but it isn't great. Bathrooms are medium-clean. Overall I've been to many many MUCH worse McDonald's, so I'm glad this one is in town! read more

The employee will lean out the window and yell at you then proceed stand outside and yell at you if you park and go to Starbucks. Yelled at four cars in a matter of minutes. No sign posted what so ever. Take your business else where. Would not have given a star but yelp made me. read more

Wow, worst burger ever. Double cheeseburger, tasted spoiled. Won't be going back. Luckily we didn't get sick!

As usual this McDonald's is very slow and The person arcacia or something like that had a straight up idgaf attitude. The lady and the pick up window gave us half our order then we continued to wait she opened the window and very disrespectfully said "What?". We told her we were waiting on our drink. She shut the window hard. Then few seconds later opened it handed us our drink without saying a single word to us. This is typical of This McDonald's though. read more

Millennial generation needs to make Big Mac improvements on their attitudes in a Grande way. Asked for ketchup at the drive-through window, but was not offered any, was told to pull ahead to wait on last part of order. We waited 15 minutes, next person that came out handed us the last bag. Again, we asked politely was there ketchup and we got......"there should be!" As she walks away.....No, oh please check and if there isn't any I'll be happy to bring you some. There was no ketchup. Wow! Had my son unbuckle to run in for ketchup...defeats the drive-thru concept, wouldn't you say? read more

Why doesn't this corporation hire good employees? At this location the employees did not care about being at work or customer service at all. We ordered 2 sandwiches and waited 10 min. While waiting, one worker in the back kept yelling "I want to go home!" I asked for a dipping sauce and the front worker tossed it on the tray, with a look of disgust. Both meals came out incorrect. The fries were undercooked and one burger tasted like it was from hours earlier. The women's restroom had two stalls and one was locked, so again I waited 10 min for my turn. We will not return. read more

Assistant manager Hunter likes to be in her phone while taking in person orders. Really rude.

Ordered our food. Sat down to eat but informed that the lobby is closed. Not posted anywhere to inform us. With toddlers, so now eating in the SUV.. fun. On the road irritated and finding out 1/4 of our paid order is missing. Thanks for reminding us why we don't patronize this garbage read more

The attendant handing out food in the drive-thru today was extremely rude and mocked me when I asked her a question. She simply repeated my question back to me in a childish, mocking voice. It would've been kinda funny in a different context. But in this context it was very rude and I won't be revisiting the location for a while. read more

This Gainesville, Texas McDonald's has to be the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I ordered a Smokehouse Bacon Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich and they gave me a Mushroom Swiss Burger. YUCK!!! I also ordered a McFlurry and they gave me a empty cup with a lid. I gave it back. Waited 15 minutes and had to go inside to see what was taking so long. I then get a cup with very little ice cream and so I had to go off on these people. Manager came out and was very rude and tried to give me a coupon for my next visit. I told her I will never come back here so her coupons are no good. People just give me what I ordered! I can say I have NEVER had a good experience or good food from this place. All employees are rude! If you want shit to eat then this is the place to go...I will never ever go there again! read more

Terrible. The 2 stars this place has is too high a score. Let me break this down 1. We came here last night after dropping our daughter off at a birthday party and the girl on the speaker was R. U. D. E. (Really Ugly Demeaning & Egregious). 2. They do t ask if you want any condiments so if you don't ask they will not give them to you 3. We came to pick our daughter up today and stopped to get breakfast (2nd chance) and still didn't ask about jam or ketchup, so of course I had to go back in 4. Last night and today, both, no napkins included 5. Today the girl at the window asked us what we ordered instead of being on the ball and KNOWING what we ordered. 6. So when I go back in for jam, napkins and ketchup I see, NO LIE, 6 workers gathered around another worker showing them something on his phone and you can plainly hear that it is none work related. This is why they didn't know what I ordered and why you'll never get napkins or condiments without asking. The Assistant manager is standing right there so OBVIOUSLY NONE of them have any respect for her. There was ONE person walking around cleaning and there needed to be more because although I was there for only 3 min I saw ketchup splats on the self serve drink counter, plastic lids falling out of the holder and food still on the floor. I make a living cleaning up messes like this where a company drops the ball with all the little stuff and this place didn't drop the ball, they never knew they had a ball. This just reminded me why I haven't eaten in a McDonalds in over 10 years as well. NEVER COMING BACK EVER !!!!!!!! Run everyone run!!!!!! read more

Honestly doesn't even deserve one star. Seems like every time I go the ice cream machine is broken or turned off. So instead of driving across town and wasting my time and gas and their time as well I decided to call first. The phone rang for 3 minutes before someone answered. I didn't catch his name but he claimed to be the manager. I asked if the ice cream machine was working and he said no. So I politely said seems like every time I go there it's broken or shut down. His response was it has certain hours of operation. I asked what they were and he said can you not tell time? It's 11:00 so it doesn't work. I then said okay I didn't ask what time it was. I asked the hours of operation for the ice cream machine and he rudely said its 11 so by then it's shut down depends on what day and time. Completely rude!!!!!!! If he truly was the manager WOW! Horrible customer service read more

I really do like the Gainesville, Texas McDonald's Restaurant! All of the other McDonald's cannot compare to this one in Gainesville, Texas! All of the employees that I've dealt with have been kind, courteous and ready help. BUT THERE IS ONE PARTICULAR EMPLOYEE that goes that extra mile every morning in the drive through. Her name is Margarita. She is always very nice, ready to compliment, ask how I'm doing and has a great attitude every time I come her way. One day, I didn't have my money ready, so she was so kind in waiting for me to count it out. There's never been a time that she doesn't have a smile on her face, a greeting to give me. Employee/S abandoned shift on 12/26/16 @ 1:30am. Greeted me on the intercom then left me sitting in the drive through for 15 minutes. When we pulled up, there was a SUV with 3-4 older teens at the other ordering screen, which I'm pretty sure it's their friends because they were ordering for literally 10 minutes. Then pulled up, which is when we started our wait time. We gave up after 15 minutes and pulled to the window, we knocked and no one was inside. So I can only assume they left to go party with their buddies. Someone needs to be fired. Btw, by the time we left there was 6 cars in the drive through lanes read more

I really like McDonalds when I am on the road. I've been to this McDonalds four times this past summer. Each time, it's taken a long time (for McDpnalds 7 minutes is a long time).
