My father and I went to Starbucks today while he's visiting me at college for some nice coffee! but sadly we were served attitude and disrespect instead! and he wanted the "horchata" drink, they serve it in Wichita Falls so just assumed they did down here as well, one of their baristas, Callie decided to chime in whenever my dad said they served it in Wichita Falls and proceeded to throw her arms up in the air and say "well they probably have it in Wichita Falls, I don't know what to tell you!" First of that was SUPER disrespectful!! I understand you may have been out but you can politely say "we're out of that! I'm so sorry" but she went above and beyond to make it a big deal! I absolutely love starbucks!! but unfortunately i had a bad experience the last time i went... the barista 'hannah' was so rude/mean to the other baristas even to me THE CUSTOMER. i was so shocked as to how someone could talk to their coworkers that way ESPECIALLY customers. Luckily afterwards a helpful sweet girl named daya had apologized for her attitude, while having to do so many other things at once!! she made the yummiest latte for me :) i would go again if hannah wasn't there. read more

I'd give it a zero if possible. ordered two brewed coffees and two sandwiches. Coffee could have been poured in 15 seconds but our order was put in their queue. stood around forever while they processed driveup orders and finally got our sandwiches. waited another 5 minutes and finally demandeed our coffee from the cashier who was doing other things. she got all huffy but grudgingly poured our coffee all the whIke saying that this is not how they do things. Another customer said he had the same problem. management here needs training or replacement. other coffee places in town; this one is off my list. read more

This location is a lesson on how well the Starbucks interior design folks can make even an old chain restaurant space look cool inside. It certainly appears that this place was once a run of the mill restaurant, yet it looks hip now after it's makeover. The tables are nicely distributed between two and four toppers, including a number of them separated from the counter by a partition that gives you a little noise reduction, nice if you want to study or just have a quiet conversation. As with almost every Starbucks I've been to, my drink was made well and served with a smile. This location may not be much to look at from the outside, but go inside and check it out. Starbucks in small towns have a vastly different feel than Starbucks in cities. Friendlier and less busy. Beverages are usually made with a bit more care. And never as rushed, so the baristas and I can actually exchange some pleasantries if we so choose. All of these elements were a part of our visit here. I am pretty sure there was a Caitlyn behind the bar and a Kaitlyn behind the register. Or vice versa, but they were both super nice and friendly and we were glad we stopped here. read more

This rating has stayed steady as a 5 until today. And it's all because of 1 cashier who argued with me IN line in the store about a drink I order every week!!! I have never had 1 issue in the drive thru, but I went in today to kill time before an appointment, & immediately noticed that the lady at the cashiers stand looked confused, overwhelmed, and quite frankly looked mean. I was right. I've seen her there for a long time but have had limited interaction with her as they usually use her as a tertiary employee, warming up food, and stocking things, etc. Well, today she was the only cashier on a busy Monday morning at 8am with 2 baristas, and NO other staff. I ordered what I always do. And as follows: Venti Salted Caramel frappuccino, SUB almond milk, no whip, extra shot of espresso. She stopped me right at Almond milk, and asked me the following(& I quote) " What are you sayeen' it make no sense. I no undahstan' you?" 1. Shes Hispanic, which is fine & I dont mind a language barrier, but when you say it like I just farted in your face, I have a real problem with it. 2. When I said it again, she said "I no know what this is." She then walked away and came back after talking to the barista for a good 30 seconds and said "I have to charge you for shot almond"....I said, Nooo. That's Not what I said, and then explained I usually come thru the drive thru weekly and sometimes 2 times a week, and order this and it's not rung up the way you did. She then LOUDLY ARGUED with me and said. "I work here long time, I KNOW how to charge!" OBVIOUSLY NOT YOU HATEFUL OLD WOMAN!!!!! I bit my tongue, and sat there for a minute, and heres the kicker...she literally said to me "You want it, or not?" I told her I would take it out that her attitude was foul and reminded her again IVE NEVER had a problem with the drive thru, or the various 100s of other Starbucks I've been to & never been treated as though I was the one causing HER a language barrier.... So, I snatched the receipt out of her hand and stood until they called my "drink" and I then told the barista...THIS ISNT WHAT I ORDERED, I WAS OVERCHARGED & that lady(pointing right at her) was tacky to me, rude, & I almost want a refund. The barista then asked me if I wanted my drink remade!!!!....NO!!!!. For her goofy ass to ring it to again!!?? CERTAINLY NOT!!!. I think I understand why they have her doing busy work, not mixing drinks, or ringing people up!!!. In my opinion, she shouldn't be dealing with the public AT ALL if she's going to act like that, regardless of her speaking English as her 2nd language BOTHERS her, or not... I think I'll take a break from Starbucks Gainesville just because of her, and maybe give one of the other local places my $$ per week, which if you total what I spend on average per year, not Including holiday gifts, cups, etc, is around $3,000 A year on average.... This is an awesome Starbucks. They have some of the best baristas and I'm really diggin the new interior redesign! There have been so many times when I didn't go just because I couldn't park or the line was out in the street, though. And lately (especially earlier in 2014) it seems like they've really gone through a lot of workers and they're not a smooth, cohesive Starbucks team yet. When they're good, they're great. Ok so I love love love starbucks....but this one here has some issues. You walk in and it's super dark inside. There were a plethora of flies by the counter. I drove up from dallas and Starbucks always seem to be a safe bet for a potty break...normally... not this one!!! A small gang of flies were congregating on the toilet. Also someone before me shaved in the sink and left the razor cap and stubble. We almost always hit this Starbucks on our way to and/or from Dallas. It's always a good place to stretch our legs and caffeinate. The staff does a great job getting lots of people through first the drive thru and the shop as well. I'm sure it's a weird store to have to work, being right off I-35 I'm sure they see all kinds of things going on. It's not really fair to take a stars off for this, but I'm going to, because they need to know how much of an effect this has on folks. It's so crazy to me that any Starbucks - but much less an interstate Starbucks - would not have a diaper changing area. I have no idea why Starbucks thinks they don't need to provide this for people, but it's insane. Where would you prefer me change my babies' diapers? On one of the bistro tables? Maybe the long table that lines the front windows would be the easiest? The right height and plenty of natural light to help make sure you got it all? Maybe just right at the cashier, next to the shortbread cookies and Kind bars? Even if you don't have kids and don't care, you should recognize that this is a need that a good many of your customers will experience in their lifetimes. I'm sure they have some corporate reasoning for not providing changing tables, but I'm not going to keep going to Starbucks and pretend it doesn't matter. We've already cut way back on spending money here since getting an espresso machine at home, but every time I'm in a situation where I need to change a crying baby's diaper, and Starbucks thinks I should have to put my baby on the effing floor of a bathroom for a diaper, I'm reminded of what a horrible corporate policy this is. For how much money exhausted mommies everywhere spend at the green mermaid, they should give us our own private room for pumping, nursing, and changing nappies. I love Starbucks ambiance and beverages. In my recent 4 day stay in Gainesville, I found that I frequented this store daily! The baristas were friendly, the in-store ambiance was great. HOWEVER, the parking area and drive-thru area is CRAZY. It appeared that I would get "trapped" in the parking lot, as it is simply so congested, so I opted to park in the McDonalds or the Braum's restaurant's and walk over to the Starbucks to get my coffee. The drive-thru appeared to be a real battle to get through, but I didn't use it. I simply walked in, received excellent service and excellent beverages. There was quite a bit of room, and a pleasant atmosphere to sit inside and enjoy your drink. I doubt I would have been as happy if I had sat in the drive-through queue.... thus I knocked a star off the review, of an excellent store with my 4 star review. The site is simply SO POPULAR, and there is not enough room for all the cars! I can't blame the store for being too popular, lol. read more

This place is pretty hit or miss. I don't get coffee often so when I do it's a treat. Unfortunately today was my last visit. I ordered my drink in the drive through telling them I have my own cup. Upon reaching window the teller says "oh you have your own cup". So they then poor my drink that has a lovely foam on top into my cup which mixes everything together. Not the way the drink is meant to be presented. Hey no big deal .... I ask about the cold foam not being on top and i am told it was because when it sits for too long the foam mixes in with drink. Firstly, this is just a flat out fabrication as there was maybe five minutes from time I ordered to time I reached window (silver lining is there is speedy service) and the foam doesn't magically mix itself into drink with time.... Secondly, all it would have taken was a simple "so sorry it got mixed in when we put it in your cup". Instead I was spoken to as though I was asking for too much to request the drink I ordered. Sure it's just foam but all it takes is a little honesty and willingness to hook up my drink to be the one I ordered. On a good note. I love the pup cups (such a cute idea ) and will just hit up the other Starbucks in town if I get a craving for that sweet cold foam. read more

Overall a normal experience for me at Starbucks. I went through the drive through bring my father along. We ordered, waited about five minutes, got our correct and well made order. The only negative I can think of is turning left as I pulled out of the drive through there is a bush blocking a lower cars view. Why does this place have only three stars? I stopped off at this Starbucks for a quick cup of joe while on a road trip and was pleasantly surprised. Starbucks is pretty consistent. An Americano is usually an Americano but in this case; it was a beautiful drink, made to perfection. I'm not sure if it was this particular batch of coffee or how it was roasted but I have not enjoyed a cup of coffee as much in a long time. I was already back in the car driving when I sipped it and my eyes got big and I was tempted to go back to compliment the barrista on the coffee she had just given me. I didn't but I will stop off on my way home and hopefully she will be there so I can thank her. In addition to an outstanding cup of coffee; I was greeted with warm and genuine smiles as soon as I walked into the shop and when they saw my ID/Credit Card said US Marine, they offered me a discount on my drink. But today me and many others sat in line for about an hour waiting to be served. There was lights on, menu lights were on, and no sign of them being closed. This might be the worst Starbucks ever. I have never had a bad experience at any Starbucks location around the U.S. and overseas. The staff here answers questions very poorly and a few have horrible attitudes. Today was our second time here this weekend. We have stopped by on the way to and from Dallas many times before. My customer experience Friday was not up to par, but I let it go until today when I again received bad attitudes from their employees. So I decided they deserve to hear how they're doing and am writing this review. The drive thru intercom did not work for us when we drove up, so we waited in the car line and told them we couldn't order from the intercom and the male employee shook his head and continued to do so with a very annoyed face taking our one drink order. (Iced black coffee with soy). He made us feel we were inconveniencing him with purchasing our drink. The experience friday was the same, there was a confusion on our tea order and the employee was more irritated and short even to her other employees. read more

Conveniently located off I-35 and perfect for the caffeine fill ups on our roadtrip to Oklahoma City. Typical Starbucks experience with quick service. Parking can be a bit tight especially with the BIG Texas trucks in the parking lot. There's actually quite a bit of interior seating if you decide to stay awhile to enjoy the coffee and bagel like I did. read more

As a former partner for 6 years, I was super impressed by this location. We were greeted when we came in and ordered breakfast sandwiches and drinks. I went to the restroom while our items were being prepared. The restroom was clean and stocked. When I came out the register barista let me know that my drink was ready. The sandwiches, feta/spinach/egg and bacon/gouda/egg were good. The store cleanliness was on point and the baristas worked seamlessly with ease and professionalism. My fiancé and I travel often from Dallas to Kansas and this location will be our new stopping point! Keep up the great work! read more

Was traveling through the area early on Monday November 11, 2019, my google search said this place was open at 5:30. When we got there a lady and a man were waiting at the door. The woman that was waiting said that when she comes to this Starbucks and the lady that was opening this morning works, she says it's awful but when another lady works it's perfect. It's a Starbucks. Pretty much a cookie-cutter like all the others (which I would give 3-stars for). Why 4-stars? The staff. I'm a "Gold-Card" Starbucks member, and of all the Starbucks I go to in a day - I really like the service and staff here! If there is a new flavor or a new drink, the staff will always make me a small version to try - no charge! Always friendly and they seem to be more attentive than most of the stores. This location also feels more inviting than most - but the staff is why I always come back here. The only bad thing about the location is the lack of parking. We've been going to this Starbucks on our way to OK for years. Always been a good place to stop. The drinks are always perfect. The last couple of times, we've encountered very rude service from the same person working the drive through and the register when we've walked in. The first time we encountered her We thought maybe she's having a hard day. The second time it was, ok this is becoming a pattern. When she didn't give me my receipt after she offered it to me and I asked for it, she slapped her hand on the counter and said, "it'll take me a minute" with a bit of an attitude...yeah, I don't think so.
