I used to frequent this McD's often to get my large Diet Coke at 6am. No more. The last two weeks this location has had issues with their soda beverages. First it was no Coke Zero. Then it was no large cups - twice. Then it was no soda at all - twice. And today...no Diet Coke. On top of that...the team here is not consistently ready to take customers by 6am when they are scheduled to open. In general the food has always been acceptable. When I let the man working the drive-thru know that I didn't need my receipt, he told me that everyone needs their receipt. I told him that wasn't true. And he then tried to throw my receipt into my vehicle. I rolled up my window and drove up, but it seemed a bit over the top for him to do that. read more

I Had a mobile order, pulled into the drive thru had us waiting (keep in mind we had a lot of other cars waiting) 10 min to give my 4 digit code. The service is extremely slow at this location. i had ordered and more people kept coming in and getting there food but I still didn't get my food. i waited for my food for around 20 minutes. after that i went up and asked about it and she just walked away. This is a GREAT place to sit in the drive thru line and listen to your podcasts. You'll be able to get through 30-45 minutes of insightful commentary while you wait to get to the ordering screen. At that point, you may or may not actually talk to a person while telling "hello?" into the void. Hi all. Coventry McDonald's in Fort Wayne IN. Guys, I waited 20 minutes in the drive thru yesterday. I paid at around the 7 minute mark. The 3 cars in front of me moved fairly quickly then they asked me to pull forward and wait. I think they forgot about me. I went in to get my food. Nobody acknowledged me for a couple of more minutes. I didn't even get a "sorry about your wait." This place seems to be getting worse rather than better. We go here occasionally and sure some of the drive-up people are angry and short tempered , BUT, have you ever listened to people order ?? Omg , I would refuse to serve them. First off , people are always rushed and you get mad when you don't get your food at the drive-up in like 3 minutes and there are cars 10-15 deep there. GO INSIDE !!! Stop acting so entitled to service workers !! We have gotten the wrong food at many fast food drive-up , delivery and eating inside establishments. The server didn't make the food, the drive- up person didn't bag the food, someone else did. Just check before you leave and say kindly the food is wrong.What's so hard about that ? Some of you may have never worked ina fast food place or sit down restaurant. Cool your britches a bit. Lol Okay, anyway our french fries were smoking hot. Our burgers were plenty warm with melty cheese. The Big Mac was packaged nicely, and deliciously messy eating it the parking lot watching the traffic go by. It's Fast food. I mean what more do you want me to say. My food had some heat on it, but it wasn't hot - I know that confusing, but it essential means it was resting under a heat lamp most likely. Nevertheless, it satisfied my hunger. ALSO, did you know that they have an automatic beverage dispenser?! True story. I think it works in conjunction with the ordering station and it auto fills and rotates the drink. Of course the attendant had to add the cup, the ice, and the lid, but it was spinning which was news to me! This is the best McD's ever!!! I ordered a fish sandwich here and they made it how I like it with no question asked. I would recommend this McDonald's. However they need to do something about their drink machine in the lobby, it tastes rotten and there is no carbonation. But I do recommend them anyway, you can ask to have your drink from the drive thru machine, and it tasted a hell of a lot better. Anywhere else would tell you no but they said yes and the crew members are some of the nicest people. They need more and they are saying that they are paying $12 an hour. read more

This is a true story about McDonald's. It wasn't this McDonald's, but I chose this one because it is the McDonald's closest to my place of residence. Edit: Apparently it WAS this McDonald's? There is a chance it might have been the secret McDonald's (that is what we called the McDonald's on Scott and Illinois, because nothing used to be out in that area). A couple friends and I (Matt "Hollywood" Beller and Rob "Ron" Pruitt) decided we were going to have a double cheeseburger eating contest. We went inside thinking that it wouldn't be fair to order in the drive-thru. I forget how many burgs we ordered, but it was a lot (I am told the amount ordered was between 20-40. I am going to guess it was somewhere in-between). When the order went through, we heard a cook in the back exclaim "Oh, F^$% That!" He, of course, was right to respond in such a way. Score is for his response. "Hollywood" Beller won that contest. The three of us did a hot dog eating contest during a Wizard's game one time as well. I am told I won this contest by a landslide. As Rob commented "that wasn't even close. I think Jim would still be there eating hot dogs if they hadn't torn the stadium down." This makes me really proud, and also gluttonous. Whether it's not putting a pie that I paid for in the bag, or messing up drinks, it's never right. As far as the open part, I work second shift, so when I get off at 10 pm and want to get dinner before bed (can't cook at home and risk waking the family) every other time I try I can't, because they're closed even though it says 24 hours.
