I am so taken aback by my experience at this location tonight that I don't even know where to begin. We placed an order through McDelivery and received everything, but our fries (2 lrg, 1 med and 1 sm). I called the store and no one answered. I called the number on the receipt and was told they're unable to complete the order, but will issue a refund. Not ideal, but fine. I'll drive up to the store and place a new order of fries. I pulled up to the curbside delivery, placed the new order and entered my spot number. The store wasn't busy at all, so when 10 minutes goes by and they haven't come out, I go up to the door. I'm told by other customers standing outside that the store is now closed and they're not sure what's going on. I go back to my car for a few minutes and then decide I'll go back to the door since there's still customers inside. An employee opens the door and I flag him down to which he promptly said they were closed. I said I get it, but I placed and order for 4 fries and have been waiting for 15 minutes and proceed to show him my receipt. He says he doesn't know what he can do and I go on the explain that we had placed a delivery order and didn't receive everything and came up and placed a new order and have been waiting for 15 min. At no point was I rude or raised my voice. The gentleman told me he understood and was going to try and do what he could ..... which I thanked him for and said I really appreciated his help. Now here's where things go sideways. Up to this point, the interaction, while frustrating, wasn't negative. He goes back to "see what he could do". Still standing by the door i see the guy coming towards the door with a bag and I'm relieved because finally, I can get the fries and just go home. Just before he gets to the door, he slips on the freshly mopped floor and fries go everywhere! His reaction was somewhere between shock, embarrassment and amusement. My eyes are big and shift from concern and hoping he's alright to realizing he's ok and then to, this whole fry thing just doesn't seem to be in the cards tonight. Guy opens the door and I look at him and say, we seem to have the same luck because that's something that would totally happen to me. Still kinda standing there in shock, I notice a woman coming up behind him with a bag and thinking, wow, that was fast! She's helping this guy out. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. She went into a rant (talking to no one in particular from what I could tell) that this was the fries and it was a door dash order and if she would just wait, she would've received it". Extremely confused once the realization set in that she was in fact talking about me. I look at the guy and said, "did she say this was a door dash"? To which he replies, "I'm not even going to flip out on you and have a good night". Still confused, I'm just like, huh? He says it several more times and then closes the door. Took a second for me to realize that he in fact was serious and was trying to control himself .... Which I appreciate, but what??!! Kinda stand there for a sec bewildered thinking, was I almost just part of an angry viral moment that you see far too often these days??!! Long story short, I've never had such an utterly confusingly negative interaction and definitely never spoken to in that manner from an employee. Will not be going to this location ever again. Terrible drive thru service. In the drive-thru someone had to order over $50.00 worth of food so it had to be 2 orders. They do not get this person to pull over to the curbside pickup & back up the entire drive thru line doubled around the building. The fries had no salt on them, all fries were soft & soggy. Went here to grab a quick dinner, was anything but quick. First ordered thru the app, that was easy except the shakes were "not available" (seems to be an issue with McDonalds). So I ordered a McFlurry instead (app said it was available, more later). I arrived and parked for the curbside, a few minutes later (pretty quick considered) a young man brought out the order, except no McFlurry. Offered something in replacement which we said no thank you "just issue a refund". He left to go back inside. We sat there another 5-10 minutes waiting for said refund or acknowledgment that it was done. Nothing. I tried to call in to the store, no answer. I decided to go in and there were several people just standing there at the counter along with the young man who came out just hanging and talking with what looked like his buddies (they don't work there). One of the managers, I assume, asked what I needed and explained. The young man then came over and said "my bad, yeah he just wants a refund". Apparently he never told anyone!!! He was too busy talking to his friends than taking care of the customer. The manager wasn't happy and replaced my meal with a hot one as well as a refund. She did make it right. I give kudos to her. Thank you. I just felt like I had to bring up the lack of responsibility this young man had. So, it's nice they are 24 hours - just in case you need that 3am Mickey D's run - hey I'm not judging - and you're craving a really long wait in a fast food line... What I'm getting at is they are slow. So, come prepared. You might want to stop at Bojangles across the street for a snack while you're waiting in line to get your McFlurry and 92 real white meat chicken nuggs (and one sauce cup.) lol I kid, I kid. I have been sitting in the drive thru now for over 20 min. According to the hours posted here, the drive through is open 24 hrs and the lobby closes at midnight. It is now 1045pm. When I finally got to the speaker to order my food, I was greeted by a smart ass who stated, "thank you for stopping at McDonald's and waiting but we are now closed thank you". I've always gone to this McDonald's ever since i was a little kid. Never had much bad to say. Recently it got renovated which was definitely needed. It looks great and the food is good. Tried there limited time spicy nuggets very good. But the service was not good. When we were ordering the girl at the window would just say what else the whole time we ordered in a rude way and they forgot our burger and fries and when we asked about it they were rude.
