It does not matter what level of spice you order, they are bland and they do NOT toss them in any type of sauce (unlike wings). They could easily be frozen Wal-Mart nuggets for all I know. I keep forgetting to mention this to them when I go through the drive thru, but the past 5 times I've ordered boneless wings and things, they've been 100% DRY. No trace of sauce or moisture whatsoever. The boneless "wings" taste like they are some sort of frozen nuggets. They are not even crispy like the regular chicken fingers. So I give them 3 stars because their regular chicken fingers are always hot and crispy. But come on guys! You gotta do something about those LAME "boneless wings." They SUCK!

day 31 of my nation wide tour…read more did you know out here carl's jr is called hardee's? not only that but the stuff they got is better and bigger and cheaper? and not only that they bring you out your food. that's all fine and good. but they came by again and asked me if i needed anything else and offered to take over my drink and refill it? what am i a king? wow. they wow'ed me. that's the highlight of my day. today i think i paid 15 bucks in toll roads. man damn tolls! not only that the engine light on my car came on. i was freaking out for 3 hours hoping my car would make it to my hotel in pompano beach, florida. i made it though but i prayed my butt off. and the toll roads got me all turned around cuz i was scared cuz of the oklahoma tolls. anyways its spring break down here in florida. i forgot so the hotels are all expensive. and now my car... i was so angry i could almost curse!!!!! but i don't curse. only pretty things come out of this mouth or touch this mouth. i either say cute or eat cotton candy! but i almost said frag! if you read my 2008 list with all my travels, this reads like a story and everyone is curious to see how this trip will end. and i am curious as well as i have no idea how it will end either, i am sure it will be a surprise, i just hope it will be a good one. i surprise myself all the time. this trip reminds me of the new batman trailer i was watching on tv last night, he travels around and lives off his money to learn fighting from the greatest masters and meet all kinds of people. that's what i am doing!!! when the student is ready the master will appear... i read a few travel blogs and each one of them all hits a dark time, always cuz of financial reasons. they will be like day 80, i got no money left, i am eating bread alone, washing dishes, scared, bla bla bla. haha check them out its great drama to read online. i am certain i will hit a low point too, maybe when i take my car to the shop again it will begin. but hopefully it will be outmatched a high. either way hardee's started my day right. i can't say the same for the walmart in this town. but if this is a story, what's wrong with a good old hollywood happy ending where the hero lives and goes true a trial of tribulation and comes out gaining something great??? haha wait does that mean i am the hero of these reviews? crap i'm writing it right so why not! so its spring break down here. lets hope its so good i will have nothing to yelp about! ;P fyi - thanks for all the support to my journey. if i dont return your PM or compliment its cuz i don't have a lot of time. but i read it all and really appreciate it! so send me more!!!

We wanted a convenient & decent meal so after being assured it would be a 10-15 minute wait, we ordered to-go via phone while driving back from Atlanta. We were there in 12 minutes and unfortunately had to wait an additional 30+ minutes (which feels like 3 hours when you have a hungry toddler sitting in the car waiting) before our food was ready for Pick-up. Definitely would've chosen something more convenient if we had known it would take 3 times longer than originally quoted. In terms of the food itself, the seasoned veggies were good as were the sweet potato fries. Burger was meh according to my husband, but I found the tacos to be a good value for the money. When we were ordering over the phone, they gave us options of sides, but never let us know about an upcharge, of course would be happy to pay. We were just surprised seeing it on the bill when none had been mentioned... The staff seemed fine though there were no updates about our order after they took our payment (extra 3% for credit card charge) until the food was finally ready. The facility itself seems nice.

Grxwhrzzpprrrrrr..... I was accompanied by my Fab Fem One and a friend on this voyage. We needed some good food but didn't have a whole lot of time for a sit down meal. We chose Captain D's. Funny, but my darling dear one and our friend had NEVER eaten at a Captain D's! Sounds fishy to me!!! LOL All three of us were really surprised at the prices! We felt they were quite reasonable and fair, especially once we got and tasted our food.... Me, I got the 3 piece Fish Dinner with coleslaw and corn on the cob for my sides. Fab One got the 12 piece Butterfly Shrimp Dinner, with baked potato and coleslaw. Our friend, who was visiting from California, she got the Lobster Bites, Fish & Shrimp Dinner, with broccoli and corn on the cob. We were laughing, munching and crunching, having a grand ol' time! The two Captain D newbies were really, really impressed with the taste and quality of their food. And that means a WHOLE LOT, since my Fine Fab One is a gourmet cook! She is very, very picky about her food... I must add that the Captain's Crew was EXCELLENT, too! From the lovely young First Mate that took our orders, to the D's Cooks, and the D's Sailor swabbing the deck(mopping and cleaning up the dining area!) We could see this was a TOP NOTCH and shipshape organisation! Forget Micky D's and set your sails for Captain D's! Tell them we sent ya!
