Well I have lived near the Wells Dr. store for 3 plus years and it has only gotten worse. If you would like to stop here because of convenience or what ever make sure you have the time. You must go inside if you want your order hot or Right! Almost every time I have stopped here the fries are cold! One time they didn't even bother to put the tartar sauce on my Filet O Fish. Hard is this the sandwich is Bun, Fish, Cheese and Sauce that is 4 ingredients!! Today I stopped for fries, a couple of snack wraps and a side of pickles. Well the fries were a good temp. for once. The wraps were all right if you only want to eat half of them with sauce. Literally there was only sauce on half of it and they aren't that big!!! And the side of pickles, well they were know where to be found!!! But they did happily charge me for them. So as usual this store manages to do everything half A$$!! Everytime I go to this location in the mornings my coffee is cold and whoever does the coffees through the drive through uses some type of fragrance that gets all over the lids of the cups and smells terrible which in turn makes the coffee taste terrible. McDonald's again you may ask!!?? What can I say we are Hooked on their coffee! Maybe it is also the senior coffee price? Did I say Senior??? Oh wow, guess I qualify when I go with my husband. So we got a sweet tea so my husband had a drink while I was in having a test I was heading to. Well let me tell you it had to have 90% sugar in it!! Really? How does this place stay in business?? Then I decided to get a double cheeseburger for myself since I had no lunch, I love the pickles at McDonald's and since I ordered on the app I had the option to add them extra!! There was no charge! Can you believe it?? Sadly to say I opened it and looked at it thinking wow this is going to be good just look at the onions on it! The first bite I was sadly disappointed. It was cold! On September, 14 2022 at 9:45pm as I was waiting to place my order, and waiting on some friends to join us and the young lady behind the register called out and said: "Hey guys today is Wednesday" at that moment the gentlemen behind the counter looked at us and made disgusted faces and pout, not knowing I was looking at them. A few moments later one of the gentlemen, who was limping, went and locked the door which we found strange since the schedule on the door says lobby is opened till 11pm. I asked to speak with the manager, who happened to be the young lady at the register so I may ask why is the door being locked. She when on to say that she was making a reference game coming up and that when they're short handed they lock the door. "Okay, so why the looks" I asked. She couldn't say. This is the first time I've ever encounter such treatment. At this point we asked her for the contact information of the owner which she pointed to the sign and this is why I'm writing to you. Of course, at this moment we were no longer hungry or felt welcome, so we left. Whether the reason for the looks were because a game coming up, a paying customer should never be made to feel unwelcome. Well let me say that this McDonald's doesn't do do business like the way they used to do or any place should do. First of all I repeated my order 3 times and it was confirmed that they heard it correctly by the associate taking my order and by what was printed on the drive-thru display. I ordered 2 McDoubles with mayo, onion & pickle only. While we sit at the window waiting for our burgers, the associate working the window was getting our large sweet teas. She stuck the spout all the way into our drinks (both) to the lever that dispenses the tea. The tea was not sweet at all. They brought our burgers & stupid me assumed that they followed simple English that the order was done in...wrong. Both burgers had mustard & ketchup on them, which I nor my wife likes on a burger. So this place has been updated..since my last visit. It seems MickyD's is sprucing up their locations with modern decor and the outside building facade, which by my standards is lookin' good! Inside and at the counter I continue to see all the old favorites I grew up with.......and though some folks say their food isn't healthy, they do have many healthy choices......though I never get them when I'm here.......I get the things that I adore and make me happy.......fries....burgers..........long live McDonalds! read more

Don't bother ordering a frappe without whipped cream because you will get it regardless. Once you hand it back you will get a dead ass I hate you stare, and they will tell you to pull up and wait. Once you have waited 8 minutes for the frappe you have already paid for (so you can't drive off) you will be handed the same frappe -- blended with the whipped cream you didn't ask for. I took my daughter out to lunch because I had to pick her up from school due to a High Fever. When I got to this McDonald's, I arrived about 2 mins before 10:30 a.m. well, when I got up to the intercom, I asked if they were serving lunch yet and the lady said, No, we don't serve lunch until 10:30. She said ow nothing went to the manager, came back and said, your Fry's ain't ready so can you pull over there and we'll bring them out. I was like, ow okay, I know what's going on here...so I pulled into the little #2 parking space and waited almost 10 mins for my Fry's, by that time I was pissed. I went in and as soon as I went in that McDonald's I Hurd a girl saying, here comes that lady girl, talking to the MANAGER!!! So the manager got my bag, which, it was sitting up the hamburger slides, where they come down the assembly lines, brought it to me and I grabbed it and walked out because I was discussed at this point. Got to my car and looked at the double cheeseburgers and I asked for one of them to be only ketchup, well of course it wasn't rite, so I went BACK IN and that same manager was walking up because she sees me walking back in, mind you, I said, this is supposed to be ONLY KETCHUP, and she was a smart azz and said well, you obviously didn't say so, I said, yes I did, it's clearly rite there on the ticket attached to the builder wrapper lady. She looked and yelled, I NEED A DOUBLE CHEESE ONLY KETCHUP! OK I am a 76 yr old man that has been a McDonalds supporter of sorts since about 1989.I have seen the times slow down and the Help Wanted and needed issues over the years but I also am one of a few without a cell phone and little computer skills.I do have American money and refuse to go inside any cafe and place an order in the lobby for my food meaning,no cashier,no order and I do not do the drive thru as a rule.On Broadway in Forest City I have been caught 3 times having to wait on someone to ask for my order and the 4th time has ended my Mac Donalds career..Drive thru full,I walk in and find a sign at the cash register directing me to use an app to order or stand abot 10 feet from the counter and place my order on a very large computer that could not answer any of my questions including DO YOU NO LONGER HAVE COUNTER ORDER SERVICE? I turned and left with no intentions of ever doing another Mc order even though it is the only fast food outlet in our county LOL.Sad to lose the personal service of any business and especially FAST FOOD JOINT. read more

Stopped here to use their restroom. The restrooms were clean, but the eating area left a lot to be desired. It's a McDonalds, so the food is what it is. Service was slow, despite the place being fairly empty and multiple workers around. Well, it's McDonald's so the expectation is low going in, but one can hope to have expectations exceeded. Not here. Have gone multiple times since working in the area and today decided I will never return. The place is always busy so they shuffle you through like cattle. Next. Next. Next. Fine. I can live with that. However, when eating out I expect to eat in a comfortable temperature zone, not the frozen tundra! If you choose to eat in the dining room, bring a winter coat. If it's a nice day you can sit outside, but the tables won't be clean. When politely asking the store manager, Rick, about the temperature of the dining room-as I was leaving-he spouted off a sarcastic remark about keeping it at 52 degrees and then brushed me off saying, "It is a bit chilly. We do keep it low. I'll look into it. Yup. I'll take care of it" as he walked past me. Fast food restaurants sometimes leave me feeling sad. That's how this one left me when I stopped in for a coffee and to use the WiFi to transmit some writing projects. The clerk at the counter named Cynthia didn't seem to want to be there. She paced back and forth with a disappointed look on her face for the two hours I sat in the dining room working and sipping my coffee. She left when I did and immediately lit a cigarette and blazed out the parking lot. And a manager of some kind sat in the corner the whole time interviewing people loudly, laughing with other employees who were on breaks, I guess. She didn't seem to be taking the interview process seriously, which would explain the staff at the restaurant. As usual at McDonald's and other fast food restaurants, there are a whole lot of workers with seemingly very little work being done. Maybe it's the basement-level pay. As I pulled around, everyone inside just stared at me as I passed the drive-through windows.
