Order number 137370811 I placed this order at approximately 6:17pm and the website said my order would be ready in 9 minutes or at 6:26. My order was not given to me until 7:05 pm after 3 calls and a trip through the drive thru. The first call I was told that they were waiting on boneless wings and then it would be right out. 20 minutes later when I called they said that they were just waiting on chicken tenders and then it would be right out. I was told they were out of gallons of tea so I was given 4 large cups of tea with ice so by the time I got home to my family they were watered down! Also I am sure I didn't get a whole gallon since they were filled with ice before the tea... also upon opening our food at home we didn't get any celery, which it specifically asked if I wanted on my online order. We only got HALF the toast that we were supposed to have! I was given 3 cookies and a grocery bag of ice as a "sorry" for the wait... With an order of $58 that had 20 chicken tenders and 30 wings obviously we are feeding more than 3 people! We actually were feeding 4 adults and 2 kids. The offer is appreciated but wow! 3 cookies does not in any way make up for this terrible trip to Zaxby's. It will be a long time if we ever come back! read more

Its your standard chicken spot. They are known more for their boneless selections but they can deep fry wings too. I am not sure what is is but this place always seems dirty inside. The floor and booths seem sticky. It has always been that way so I normally do take out. The french fries are great. A bit on the expensive side but the food is consistent. read more

It is ridiculous that at the Forest City NC zaxbys you pay for sauce and this is all they give you. If I were to pay for ranch I would get a full prepackaged container but because I like the whimpy sauce, this is all you get. It is a complete rip off. read more

Most of the time the food is great here. The only issue that I continuously have with this place is the soft drinks. I don't know whether this is a localized issue or whether it's companywide but the soda always tastes really weird. I have never had a problem with waiting like some other people have complained about nor have I ever had problems with anyone's attitude. I just wish they would fix the sodas. Food was ok. Didn't mind having to pull up for a family meal. Asked for sweet& spicy and teriyaki. They said they would get them to put it in cups since they don't have prepackaged. So they didn't give me either after waiting 20 mins. She said all the sauces I wanted are in the bag. Got home she gave me 7 Zaxby's sauce which I hate. And 2 ranch.!? This visit was the first in a long time and we were really looking forward to the crispy fingers. The finger plates consisted of barely coated fingers. There was hardly any coating on the fingers and it was soggy. The fries were cold and white, like they had not even been in any hot grease. The toast was burnt and dry. I ordered for 4 people, 2 adults and 2 kids, and the total was well over $50.00. I was very disappointed and won't go back. read more

I went to this Zaxby's at 10:00 because I had just finished a doctor appointment & they were open. There was a very young man counting his cash register money & 2 older people standing where the customer tables are... a man & a woman. They seemed to be in charge but I wasn't sure. After the cashier finished counting he took my order. I asked for the 10% discount. He didn't give it & didn't offer it after the fact. I simply said ok that's fine. He did not offer me a cup for 5 more minutes. I finally took my cup to the drink machine ..... no ice. I tried the drink portion of the machine & what I wanted was not even offered. It was out of several I wanted. So I chose Coke Zero & it was flat & not the least bit sweet. It was awful. I asked the cashier to help me. He tried to get me the drink behind his counter. He says it wouldn't work either. So he had to get some kind of equipment that evidently is the syrup dispenser. He pulled the old one out & tried to insert the new one but wouldn't go in. I quietly asked him if the 2 people standing around were managers he said yes. So he finally asked them for help. (They should have already been trying to help him!!!!!'). None of them could fix the drink machine so I said I'll just take tea. I ate my food & went back to order 2 egg rolls to go. They were 2 for $3.99.when the cashier rang it up it came to $8. I said that's not right. It's should be a little over $4. He called another cashier over & she, very rudely, said he rang up 2 sets of rolls. I said I really don't care why he did it I just want my correct change back.... $4 more. This is the 2nd time I've written a review on this Zaxby's. It's a shame because their Zensation Zalads are delicious. I hate service affects why I will second guess ever visiting again. I'll go to Shelby. read more

First time ever at Zaxby's and it wasn't a good experience. Food is good, but the service needs to be updated. Workers seemed like they didn't know how to work behind the registers. I had to go to the counter 4 times because I didn't get my order correct. Nothing was stocked, Lobby is absolutely dirty. I couldn't find not one seat that was cleaned. Floors are so sticky. As a corrmanger here I would have not had my restaurant looking like this. This Restaurant has potential. Plus it wasn't even busy. Zazby's is a casual fast service restaurant specializing in chicken items including chicken tenders, wings, chicken zalads, chicken sandwiches, plus fried foods and Coke fountain drinks (self serve). The place is a typical order at the counter restaurant and there is ample self serve booth and table seating in the very decorated dining room. Pick up your food when order number is called. There's also a drive-thru window. I stopped for takeout at the Forest City Zaxby's very recently and the place was fairly busy on a Friday night. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich Meal Deal ($5.49 plus tax) with crinkle cut fries and medium fountain drink. The food was set to go in about 7 minutes after ordering. The area in front of the self serve fountain soda dispenser was nonstop busy. The grilled chicken sandwich was good sized with a thick piece of tender grilled chicken breast with lettuce and tangy honey mustard on a thick soft toasted bun. The golden fries were salted and crispy. I was happy with the food and service at this location. read more

My wife placed a mobile order for curbside pickup. After calling the curbside pickup phone number for 5 minutes, with no answer, she decided to see if she could walk in to get her order. As she got out of the car, the man in the truck next to us asked, if they had ignored our call too. He got tired of being ignored and got into the drive through lane that was wrapped all the way around the building. After finding out that all of the doors are locked and the dining room is still closed,, we got in the drive through lane too. When we got up to the ordering speaker 20 minutes later, we were told that they were out of ALL carbonated drinks. We asked at the window if they were having phone issues. They replied that they were short staffed, so they weren't answering their phones or doing curbside pickup, even though they still had the marked parking spaces indicating that they were still offering that service. Once we got home my wife wound up throwing away the coleslaw as it had a strange chemical taste. This location has consistently been the worst Zaxby's location that we have ever visited. 35 minutes for fast food is ridiculous. read more

Worst salad ever! Lettuce was rotten and all they said is that it looks wet. Everytime I come here it gets worse.
