Some got impatient and left, but I stuck it out for... probably way longer than I should have. The queue behind me was probably eight cars deep. Guy in front of me left, so I did too. I did notice someone walking out with a bag in hand, so I decided to go inside. All their kiosks were restarting or something, and even the human registers had CLOSED written on them. None of the employees seemed to be addressing customers. Would've been nice to know while we were all waiting like idiots for overpriced fast food in the drive-thru. It's just a McD's. We waited over half an hour in the drive thru for an ice cream, slushy, and fries. There was only one car in front of us and it still took a very long time. by the time we actually got our food I got the wrong flavor slushy, cold fries, and a McFlurry that was not mixed at all. Today i went to the worst McDonald's (Falmouth Maine) I have ever been to. Ordered a breakfast burrito, thought it was a safe bet at 745am. The staff is completely friendly, they all speak English, which is surprising in most areas of the country, and they follow instructions correctly. The McDonalds service was the most exquisite place I have been. Me and my husband went on our honeymoon to this beautiful chain restaurant that has blessed all of our lives. The Big Mac was the perfect consistency of burger to sauce, while the fries had a crispy crunch that just had me DYING. Hubby and I were getting a little full so we shared a special edition Grimace Shake. It had me, as the teenagers would say "bussin" Our total came out to 22.95 which was a good and fair price for the amazing service we had. We consider ourselves patriotic supporters of the food industry so we mad sure to leave a 25% tip to Colleen (Our register) The tip was 5.73 for you math wizzes out at home. We were so impressed by the service we had out 12 year old son send an application to mcdonalds to get his first job. However we were informed that child labor had been outlawed in the state of Maine (SHAME) Even after bringing our case to the Maine Supreme Court he still was not able to get a job within this establishment. Due to this, as well as an issue with the fry cook named Bob having an affair with my hubby, I cannot give this restaurant higher then a 3 stars. McDonald's has taken a lot of flack over the years and has been the butt of a lot of jokes but this company has been in business for over a half century. They're a lot more health orientated now than they used to be, sure they started out pretty unhealthy but remember so did we! You might say we have grown together. The location in Falmouth is good, great place to stop for a quick and inexpensive lunch, I haven't tried the new Chicken/chili, lettuce and tomato wrap, sounds good. I did try the chicken, lettuce, tomato and Ranch wrap....didn't do it for me. Most of the selections are fine, just stay away from those fries and you'll be safe! I make a point of getting a "Mac Fix" about once every 6 months and I'm not ashamed to admit it! :-) read more

Completely remodeled in Falmouth this McDonalds lets you place your own order and pay for it at a kiosk or you can go up to the counter and order. The management and staff are friendly and efficient so I have never had to wait more than a few minutes for my order. read more

Pulled up to the drive thru at 10pm (they are open till 11) and I thought a nice lady was asking about joining the rewards program. I said no and asked for my ten piece. No answer. I said hello a few times then decided to pull up. No one was at the registers or windows. I parked my car and decided to try and go in. Doors were locked. I called the mcdonald's and someone picked up and I explained what happened. He said he doesn't know how to fix it and his boss set it up. I was pretty upset but I knew it wasn't his fault. Today, 3 of my kids had tummy aches after eating a late lunch/ early dinner at McDonalds in Falmouth; one just threw up after whimpering for the last hour... I went through the drive through and found out I was missing 2 McFlurries, ketchup, and a order of 6 McNuggets kid's meals and turned back after driving 20 minutes.... I live in Yarmouth and the McDonald drive through in Falmouth gets something wrong about 50% of the time. Today, something was not right with the food - 3 kids with belly aches...... read more

This is without a doubt the worst McDonalds in America. There's always something off - cold fries, having to pull over and wait for normal menu items etc. The last time I went I got a Big Mac from the drive through. Got home and there was absolutely nothing on it, just two patties between the bread. Today I went and the kid at the first window got my order wrong. When I asked him to correct it and give me the money back that he overcharged he told me he couldn't fix, said there were too many people behind me and directed me to keep driving. Such a rude little monster. Its convenient and I stop when I'm too tired after work to go anywhere but never again. Rolled in to the McDonald's in Falmouth on a snowy morning last weekend to pick up breakfast for a large group including children and hung-over adults. Forgot to bring my list of what everyone wanted so I just ordered a few of nearly everything on the breakfast menu (a.k.a. 'The Royal Sampler'). $100+ later, my order dropped, staff in the back poked their heads out soon after, I assume to see if this was a real order or if someone had fallen asleep on the POS screen. With my single order being larger than what they usually get over an entire hour, everyone behind the counter switched on beast mode, and within 10 minutes I was walking out with four massive, delicious-smelling bags of breakfast. This whole time they were also serving normal customers at the drive-up and second register. Food was excellent. All staff including the store manager who was working that morning were highly professional and courteous. Thanks for covering for me, McD crew- next time I promise I will bring a list and make things a bit easier. read more

a very friendly man greeted us @ the door, informing me and K that if we needed assistance in navigating the newly installed computer doohickey, he would be happy to ablige. i ordered my usual, everyone knows it, MCSTEAK (3 quarter pounders one regular pattie, no buns, no lettuce, hold les tomates, dairy free, vaguely vegan) with extra extra mayo and catsup. i was devastated to find out hat they ran out of plastic forks, the lady before myself (a former burger king) took the last one. sadly, i was forced to resort to cutting my 5 star steak with a french fry (extra salt) and a plastic straw. all in all, i learned that day, like barbecue sauce is good moisturizer, etc. etc. read more

The Falmouth McDonald's restaurant is dirty and the floors look gross most of the time. Go to the McDonald's in Portland Maine not Falmouth. The staff are arrogant and speak in a rude manner. Think twice about asking for any kind of special order. They will give you the opposite of what you ask for, especially with drive thru orders because obviously someone finds it hilarious to do so. Food here is terrible. They also tend to try to give you medium drink or fries after you ask for and pay for a large. Best avoided if at all possible. read more

HORRIBLE! They UP their prices on everything because "they're in Falmouth"- the service is terrible- a bunch of kids and adults who don't care. Absolutely AWFUL. Soggy limp cold fries- for the third time in a row, over a couple months. A double Quarter Pounder that literally was dripping with grease- it was running down my arm! The person taking my order was completely cold, disinterested, and not in the slightest bit friendly......and I know that person was the manager there, a blonde girl with ill-fitting glasses, because I saw her with her headset on...I have seen her here several times- she always has the same scowl on her face......this woman has ZERO charisma, personality, or customer service skills. Whoever owns this store needs to get her the hell out of there...her attitude is so heavily negative and down- I have seen it before 2 separate occasions- she affects everyone's attitude in that location. She absolutely needs to go, she should be an accountant sitting in a private office somewhere.
