This is the best time of the year. McDonalds offers their McRib sandwich in November, sometimes late October. I was traveling home and stopped by this location. Service was fast. The line was not busy but getting to and from the restaurant was hard due to construction. The McRib was perfect, just enough sauce, hot and had the required pickle and onions. I also got fries and a set of chocolate chip cookies. Since it is rich with bbq sauce I had to assemble it in the car to make it a "driving food". The cookies were soft and fresh too. read more

The McDonald's on Main St in Ennis is the worst ever in history I believe. 1st...no one can hear. You speak clear and they still get your order wrong. They finally correct in on the screen and when you get your oder it's still wrong. Like what the hello. I ordered a Mocha Frapp with no whip cream and they give me a cup half full and say you didn't want no whip. No MF I didn't but I paid for a product and I will like it to be full so go back and redo it. Then get an attitude about it. I want what I pay for customer right. I have to review this McDonalds just because I was shocked on not only how clean their bathrooms were but they even had flowers inside. Not sure what kind of upscale McDs this is but kudos to whoever is upkeeping it. Overall the restaurant seemed pristine as well and their order pick up section also had flowers. Kudos to this botanical McDs. On a separate note...it also has a playground section for the kids. Something you don't see all the time now. read more

Oh yea, never fails, everytime I order something from here its always messed up. I ordered a round egg instead of a folded one on biscuit sandwhich, instead they took it off the mcmuffin I ordered and still left the folded one lol you cant make this stuff up. The service was HORRENDOUS. The lady at the window, which was the manager, she was a Hispanic lady, had HORRIBLE attitude. She would talk over as we're ordering and when we said our order, she wouldn't acknowledge anything we said. We get to the window, get our food and half our order was missing! I had to get the attention of a older lady who was taking food out to cars, and tell her our order is missing. She seemed annoyed like those workers do that all the time. Visited on 7/23/23, went inside and noticed dead mouse near our car. Shrugged it off, ordered on monitor inside, and waited. Fast delivery. But they literally forgot all our drinks and some items. Spent 10 extra minutes trying to get our order right. The three women couldn't figure it out, and were in no hurry. Got in car and realized why food was so fast. Ordered a Dr.Pepper for my son got a sprite asked them to fix it & they said that's what I got charged for? I didn't realize Dr.Pepper and sprite had two different prices. Tried to order a double cheeseburger meal and was told those don't exist. Made an order but it came out wrong. That happens. Then my order that was to be corrected never came out to stall 1 so after 15 min I went inside and asked for assistance. They realized never brought it out. Waiter a long time inside. Women in front inside telling a lot of customers what they "don't have"- ranch, change etc. People were nice but something is broke. A must avoid. read more

I reviewed this McDonald's at 5 stars 3 years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect about this location. I live in Ennis, so I do frequent it. Unfortunately, it has definitely gone downhill. If you come inside you will be ignored for a long period of time. Employees will look at you and never speak. At one occasion there were 12 different customers waiting in the lobby before an employee finally started to take orders. I've waited 19 minutes on one occasion to get two cheeseburgers and fries and drink. For some reason they always forget your drink. Today a manager was changing out small trash bags behind the counter and mopping, then never washed his hands. Another employee through trash at the trash can, missed and left it sitting on the floor right after he mopped. Hopefully they can turn this place around. read more

Ordered dinner with Uber eats and as usual, the order was missing something. This time it was the Big Mac from the sweetie meal. I wound up paying $12.00 for a 4 pc nugget and fries, and didn't even the the sauce for the nuggets. Not sure why this place has such a bad rating. It's clean and kid friendly. Most other McDonald's are not like this. Had me a couple of fish sandwiches with the wife and all is good. Ordered biscuits and gravy again today and told the cashier (Dee) I wanted heavy gravy and she told me there would an extra charge.
