Definitely not the best McDonald's I've been to. One time I tried to go here with some friends and the door was locked even though the place was open. Someone finally came to the door and told us it was locked because the credit card machines were down and they were accepting cash only. Okay, why did you need to lock people out for that? Just tell them it's cash only when they get to the counter. Idiotic. We ended up leaving. Last time I went the fries were disgustingly salty. I love salty fries, but these were pretty gross. The peppermint hot chocolate I had was good, but could have been a bit warmer. Anyway, I don't frequent McDonald's very often, but next time I do I will probably skip this location. read more

Not my pick of a place to eat but the hubby and son are looking for a quick meal and here I am.. It's fast food so you can expect the same as any other place. But in regards to the drive-thru, they could have at least made the overhangs do that they aren't just long enough to drip water right into your car! No wonder my interior was getting soaked so fast. Used the McDonald app here to get Buy One Get One Free happy meal. Once pulled up to drive thru, the first window - the lady told me to click Redeem, which I did. But that day, being ever so windy, something went wrong with the internet upon clicking that button. I got an error message of some sort saying server unavailable, so without thinking, I click back so I can access it again. Only then the lady ask to see the phone and of course the coupon is no longer display. I tried to tell her I just only click it at that moment but she didn't seem to want to hear my "excuse" anyways. (no, they were not busy at the time) Although she was kind enough to still give me the deal, it would've been nice to hear a more believable nicer tone when she did it. Made me feel like i was scamming her. Because of that, I am giving a 2 star (2.5 if option was available). read more

It's always so busy! Seems to move along fast when it gets going but still... Nice people though! I don't ever get a bad order and the people are always nice and actually say 'have a good day/evening' unlike other places/locations that just chuck you your food and say thanks. I appreciate the smiles and small chat. I come to this one often but it still has iffy wait times, so that's why I gave a lower rating. Otherwise, great drive-thru people. Went to this particular McDonald's to try the All Day Breakfast for Lunch. We went around 12:30pm through the drive thru. There is definitely a lunch crowd but with two drive thru's it was a pretty smooth and quick process. From ordering to pick up to waiting in "space 2" everyone was very nice and it was actually a good experience. The food itself was fresh and hot hence waiting those extra couple minutes in "space 2" :-) I recommend getting breakfast after normal breakfast hours because it's unbelievable Just Made for when you're having that craving for a McDees breakfast. read more

These guys are super awesome. My husband and I get off of work super late at night, and sometimes we don't feel like cooking. They're the only place open on Uber eats. We've ordered at least a dozen times, and they have been spot on with the orders. There was one time they didn't have something we ordered, and the manager called and apologized and offered a replacement, and he was insanely friendly and helpful. I'm literally disgusted with the response I received after complaining about a major screw up with my order. We ordered through DoorDash for delivery and our food arrived; hot, fresh and in a timely manner. My issue came when my ice cream sundae was packed in a sealed bag full of HOT food. I also didn't receive the dipping sauces I triple checked were marked on the site to go with my McNuggets. I wrote to them and the response was basically that DoorDash, the people who literally pick up your food and drive it to you was responsible for the mistakes made to my order. I'm sorry, last I checked McDonalds workers prep the food, bag the food and seal the bags... so please someone explain to me how it's the Dasher's fault that McDonalds forgot my sauces and packed my ice cream sundae in a bag of hot food. Holy, salt lick batman! I love fries, I love some salt, but I want to be able to taste my fries. They always over salt them here at this location. Service is spotty, and they've forgotten items, which is why my hubby insist on going in to get their food. Definitely do not like going in when they're overrun by "brats". Maybe I am getting older, but I cannot stand some teenagers! They're loud, obnoxious, rude, and wow, are they raunchy as ever. Wish I could rate a ZERO. No way will I ever go here again. Several months ago I ordered a McChicken with extra mayo. They charged me $.25 additional for an extra squirt of mayo. I wrote an on-line complaint, and only received a form email reply basically saying they were sorry I was unhappy with their pricing. Decided I would never go again. Well, last week I broke my resolution and stopped by for a breakfast. Ordered a $4.99 breakfast combo, was charged almost $6.70. They said this was because I'd swapped the coffee for a large iced tea. Well, their menu says all sizes of coffee and iced teas are $1. Apparently not in a combo - they were trying to charge me an additional $1. No way - I drove off. WILL NEVER EVER GO TO THIS McD'S AGAIN. This is different from any other McD's in the area. I find it funny they charge for an extra item, but if I order my burger without pickles and mustard do they lower the price? No. If I had wanted a mayo packet, that would be a different story due to packaging costs. But one extra squirt of mayo? Really?? Not a place I wish to do business with - both in their pricing practices and their lack of a reasonable response to a complaint. read more

I have been to this location a couple times in the past year. Inside: The service was not bad; not overly friendly, but it was quick. They had many people in the lines in the morning and were getting everyone in and out. Looks like they can handle the traffic! One should never expect 5-star gourmet food or service at McDonald's. But this review is not about food or service. I am a freelance writer and often work at McDonald's or other coffee shops in the Seattle area. Today, I discovered that this McDonald's is following the lead of other McDs in the area. They have disabled all of the electrical outlets in the seating area. Now, I can only stand to work about 2-hours in these places, but it's nice to have a place to plug in the laptop. I don't know this for a fact, but I expect they have done this to dissuade people from coming in off of the street to charge their phones and other devices. I guess I shouldn't expect McDs to worship the almighty dollar less than other businesses in this country. But a business already rated low in customer service certainly can't afford to take away small features that draw people in. read more

So apparently this location DOES NOT serve grilled or crispy chicken after midnight!!!!! But just a few miles south at the ballinger McDonald's they definitely serve crispy & grilled chicken after midnight.. However that locations does turn off their mcflurry machine after midnight (lol WTF right????).. But the Edmonds location keeps the mcflurry machine ON after midnight. Apparently here at McDonald's the employees can just makes up the rules and stop serving things like all grilled & crispy chicken sandwiches and mcflurrys.... Wtf is up McDonald's??? Can someone explain? And my order took 12 mins even tho I didn't get chicken (which takes longer)!!! *EDIT: They said it's because they're a franchise not corporation and because of that the owner can set their own rules such as listed.. I won't be returning to this Edmonds McDonalds. I go to Mickey D's about 3 times a month and always order a McChicken with no mayo at the drive-thru. Today, they put mayo on it. I discovered it a block away and drove back to exchange it. Neither of the young ladies who served me apologized or acknowledged it was their mistake. When this happened to me at the Factoria location, they were quite apologetic and even gave me a coupon from the manager for a free sandwich. Not in Edmonds! read more
