I occasionally pick up a sandwich here as it's near work and I frequently only have a few minutes to grab a bite at lunch. This particular McD's used to be somewhat better but after a recent remodel it's really not good anymore. Not sure what happened? Maybe they had to hire new staff after being closed for a few weeks. Nothing is hot, fries taste weird, sandwiches are also not right, and after 3 tries, I'm out. Twice I got stuck in the drive-thru line with an inexplicable delay (there are places to park people for orders that take longer, so maybe move them along?) You can't escape the drive thru easily if you have to bail because you're sitting there but your lunchtime is over and you have a schedule to keep. People I work with say the same, it's not good any more. It's gotten pricey as most places have, but if it's McD's you don't feel like spending close to or over $10 to eat because the food is emergency food, not good food. read more

Placed an order on the app at 10:16 on Sunday, the 28th. 4 drinks, 4 sausage Mcmuffins with egg and 2 hash browns. Pull into the driveway at 10:25 and fog through the drive thru- there are 2 cars waiting for their meals in front. They give me my drinks, tell me to pull in front. 10 mins later a guy comes out and my order is wrong. Wait - decide to go inside and it isn't busy. 10:56- they hand me my order (after waiting and still haven't gotten my order) and it's wrong. 3 sausage egg mcmuffins and 1 sausage biscuit. Horrible customer service. You will be waiting for your food for at least 20 minutes at a given time.

So far I've never waited longer for food. Been here 26 min to get our food. About 3 offer families waiting as well. Then they tell me no iced coffee. Machines don't print receipts. So got no order #. Although we put in a tent # with our order. Like I said never saw anything like this. Drivetrough seems to be moving pretty good though. read more

Restaurant #11322 The food is usually good,hot and right BUT the sandwiches are almost always half on and half off the bun! Very hard to deal w when in a hurry for lunch..But the people are very friendly and Joey keeps the place SO VERY CLEAN when he works. And Joey is a very nice guy who always has a smile for everyone! Horrible workers! I placed my mobile order and was curbside at 5:33pm. After 30 min I went inside and order was still not ready! Some was bagged and young lady started to finish the order. I asked why was this not done and why did I wait 30 min! She didn't know and I asked for the manager. The young lady gave me the two bags of food. I asked the manager why I had to wait 30 min and why I had to come inside and why it STILL was NOT done. She said it just came up on the curbside screen and nothing she could do. I said that is a lie as I placed it at 5:33pm and it's 6pm. She said again nothing she could do as it just came on the screen.......so she lied again. I said well I haven't even gotten drinks! She got the drinks which consisted of 2 trays. Mind you I have two big bags of food and two big trays of drinks. I asked for a receipt and she said no..........she could give the print out. I looked at the curbside ticket print out and guess what the time was 5:33pm!!!!!! So she lieddddddd and didn't care. Said nothing she can do. Kicker was NO ONE helped me out to my car with all the items!!!!!!! And worse yet when we got home my daughters 10 piece nuggets had a crumbled up wawa recipet inside........SOOOOOO GROSSS!!! As I write this review it is a personal reminder of how much I disdain drive thru's! So I order a smother, 2 small burgers and fries. As a person who used to work at McDonalds for yrs I picky to the point where I want my fries fresh. I never go by their word telling me its fresh and I make Mcdonalds make me new fries, simple request right? Well this time when they give me my order I try ny fries before driving away like always only this time they were cold, so I'm like ok maybe the mixed it already made fries, not what I wanted but ok let me try one more and if its hot no harm no foul I'm on my way, the second fry is cold as well. So i tell them I want new fries as they werent fresh and they start arguing with me that they just made it, and I told them they weren't and I wanted them to make me fresh fries again. The manager asks me to pull up and because there is no line at this time I declined and told them I would wait for my new fries at the drive thru. They then take those fries and I assume they are going to honor my request. After waiting 10 minutes police show up and tell me I gotta leave or they gonna arrest me for disorderly conduct and like what in blue hell. So I got robbed for my fries cause they didnt even give me a refund. So tomorrow I'm going after McDonald's and I'm going to make sure this manager gets fired because this is terrible service and uncalled for! Worst service I've ever received read more

Horrible service. Ordered a 1/2 pounder/small fry @ drive-thru. I was asked to pull up with another car and told it would be '2 seconds' because she didn't want to let her timer run over. FIVE minutes later they gave my order to the other car. He took it back inside, then the employee came out and tried to give me the same bag. When I told her I didn't want the same food that a stranger had handled, she started cursing and took it back inside. I had to go inside to get my food to make sure I didn't get food that some stranger had pawed through. Customer service is horrible and employee was incredibly rude. The manager said they were making fresh food for me, but the fries were cold, so that was a lie. It took 15 minutes and getting cussed at to get 1 quarter pounder and 1 small fry - ridiculous! Rally slow service inside and my sandwich was falling apart. On a good note the tea was good.

Here almost weekly and no issues with the drive-thru but ordering inside has been a challenge. I get focusing on drive-thru customers but last night was really unbelievable. I placed my order (no issues) but then had to wait at least 5 minutes or more for French fries. In that same time there were at least 4 or 5 orders of fries prepared for drive-thru customers while my sandwich sat there getting cold waiting for a new batch of fries to be cooked. Then when the guy working the eat-in register asked for my fries, he was ignored and was instead instructed to go in the back for more happy meal toys. While others did nothing. And finally the poor guy had to walk over and get the fries himself because the keeper of the fries just continued to ignore him. And all this still while one or two others just stood around. I drive long distances and this is place is convenient for a restroom break right off Route 1 but next time I think I'll use the restroom and then get back in the car to go through the drive-thru! read more

We have been using this McDonald's since October 2017. When we first started going I found the staff to be rude and unable to get an order correct. It's now June 2018 and the past 3 months have been amazing, food is prepared fast, accurate and fresh. The people working the drive thru have been very polite! Especially April, she will make you start your day off great! I have to say I have no complaints! Loving the changes made and the positive attitudes! Keep up the great work! Plenty of parking. I always use the drive thru so I can't speak for the inside area. Reasonable price for fast food. read more

Did not like the computer ordering machine as I far prefer to order from a human being. Two fish filet meals and 2 kids nugget meals took 15 minutes to come out and there were only a handful of people in the restaurant. It did not seem like things were organized or efficient in the back. Kids drinks and toys were missing. Nakim was so helpful and did a great job helping us get everything we needed. Still the worst fast food restaurant in the area! I arrived at the drive-thru on 1/16/21 and was told to please hold. After waiting a bit, another vehicle arrived at the other lane, ordered, and went ahead of me. REALLY? I was already running late for work as it was and could not wait any longer so I left empty handed. I called the store and spoke with the manager. I asked for the franchise owners contact information but was told I could "contact corporate" but they would just refer me back to her. So, the same result, NOTHING! This McDonald's is a pretty decent one. If you go during the day, most of time you'll have April taking your order and she is fantastic. She's very polite and always has a smile on her face. I've been to this one many times and she's taken my order at least 20 times since I've moved to Dover and she is wonderful and consistent every time.
