Ridiculous experience today. This afternoon I picked up lunch for my family and ordered about $40 worth of food, including three chicken McNugget meals. I paid at the first window and when I pulled up to the second window they asked me to park until my food was ready. This was no problem at all as I understand it was a large order. A young woman came out to my car with food and asked me if I had the large chicken order and I said yes. I get home and opened the bag which had a mixture of food that was clearly not mine. I drove back to McDonald's and as soon as I walked in was asked if I had the wrong order by a different employee. The people who got my food must have been more diligent about checking before leaving. The girl who had brought my food to the car then came out from the kitchen area and told me that she had asked me if it was my food and I had said yes. I didn't really appreciate the accusatory tone, but I understand there was a miscommunication as I did have a large order that involved a decent amount of chicken. They agreed to make my order again. When I got home I could not believe that the order was again wrong. It was missing one of the chicken nuggets and also a McDouble that I had ordered. At this point I knew I wasn't going back again but wanted to call to let them know because I thought it was crazy. The first time I called and explained what happened, the girl (pretty sure it was the one who brought out my food and blamed me for not noticing) cut me off and aggressively told me that she knew she forgot my McDouble but that she gave me all the chicken and if I wanted the burger I would have to come up here and then hung up on me. I was honestly shocked when I heard the click and was definitely missing a nugget meal. I then immediately called back and she did not answer. Without even focusing on messing up my order twice, because I do know that accidents happen, the absolute audacity to be that rude to me both in person and on the phone, and then actually hanging up to me is just beyond the pale. I was not yelling or swearing or doing anything that could've possibly warranted being disconnected from the line. And then to see me call back and actively not answer the phone is just insane. I waited a little while to call back the third time because after being ignored the second time I was upset and wanted to calm down a little bit before trying again. The third time I called I supposedly talked to a manager who was very nice and apologetic. A few weeks ago the manager was let go after a few rude and unprofessional comments to myself and a few other customers, we all left reviews with McDonalds and ever since then this place has got a lot better. Today my experience was amazing. The lady talking to us on the drive thru (Jessica) was so nice, polite and helpful! Gross!! I wish I could give this McDonald's location zero stars! I have been here before and it was bad but thought it might just be a bad day. But honestly, it's fast food, it's not that difficult. I went through the drive thru. Waited about ten minutes just to place my order and it wasn't busy. At least the employee acknowledged my presence a couple times by telling me he'd be right with me. So I ordered two burgers and fries. Waited at the window to pay about three minutes and the pick up window another two. As I was leaving I tried the fries. HORRIBLE!!! They were cold, soggy, and had the worst grease taste. I couldn't eat them. When I got home the burgers were a mess. Mustard, mustard, and mustard everywhere. All over the wrappers and the bun. You can easily spend 10-15 minutes waiting in the drive through, even if there's only a car or two ahead of you. On several occasions, the staff has been downright rude when I try to make sure my order is correct (because the screen isn't working). When I finally get my food, it's sloppily prepared, barely warm, and probably 1 out of 5 times they mess up my special order, even though the sandwich has a slip attached that says how it's supposed to be. I've filled out their survey numerous times and requested that someone contact me. Most of the time, I never hear anything at all. The last time, I received what was obviously a form email from someone who I have since been told is an administrative assistant (ie not actually able to do anything about the problems).
