Oh my freaking god this was one of worst experiences ever. Okay so what happened is we ordered 2 plain double cheese burgers with mayo and two more plain double cheese burgers but with ketchup. But the lady taking our order was confused and kept saying we wanted something different. We also got a sprite,coke and two fries. The drinks and fries were fine but when we got the burgers they gave us two burgers with both mayo and ketchup but they put so much it was falling all off the burger. Then gave us one burger with nothing on it besides cheese and meat. But one had onions on it even though we asked for it to be plain with ketchup. So all the burgers were wrong horrible experience. I followed those exact instructions only for the first window attendant to yell at me, unprofessionally, incoherently, slurring every word he could conjure up in his limited vernacular, accusing me of not paying. I understand the inconveniences, the discomfort, and the general malaise of serving food late night, and all I'm going to request is that if you cannot handle that shift with a shred of compassion, dignity and self awareness, that you re-asssess your life because there's absolutely no reason to take your miserable feelings and pile them on people ordering fast food after their own long, late night shifts. The Great cashier very personal. Order was completely wrong. Ordered in driveway thru..got home it was wrong. Asked for steak bagel no egg, no sauce. I got steak and egg bagel with extra sauce. Food was fine, it was the snotty attitudes from the 2 employees behind the counter that makes me not want to return. Not much of a dine in McDonald's eater so I had no idea that paper cups are no longer supplied for ketchup. You are supposed to put the ketchup directly on your food. So when we asked for little cups for the ketchup, 1 male employee acted like he had no idea of what we were asking for so he deferred to his female coworker. Just the way she scrunched up her face and eyes when asked about the ketchup cups just said it all. Then she answered with "Oh, we haven't done that in years". Wow. This has to be the most inept McDonalds on the planet. I've never seen a fast food restaurant so overstaffed & so incompetent. Went in for a quick shake...waited 15 min to be told the shake machine was not working. Uh, ok... In that 15 min I was able to witness a staff of no less than 13 back of the house employees completely disengaged from their jobs & socializing with one another, customers waiting to be served. I went there to get breakfast there. I ordered take-out. I was very impressed because there were 3 managers working alongside other employees. Everyone was very efficient and friendly. The food was gross. My Apple pie was cold ( I ordered two) maybe room temp at best. My chicken deluxe came out as a spicy chicken. The chicken was chewy the bun was cold and chewy. My fries were cold too. The service was quick but my order was wrong. Ambiance is nonexistent it's a modern McDonalds with dark dinning room while every light is on. The drive through makes you question your choices to be in line about to pay for the below mediocre food you just ordered. I understand it's McDonald's. This location is nice because it is right across the street from Kenwood Towne center and very close to the expressway of 71. The restaurant has been newly renovated and does have two lanes for the drive-through. They are two separate pick up windows as well as a payment window. I'm going to be honest, I don't eat the food here that often, except I love coming to get their dollar cokes! Since it is right off the expressway, it is a great pitstop between downtown Cincinnati and my home on the east side. They used to just offer a dollar a pop straight in the summer, but now it is all the time. The drive-through lane moved at an OK speed, but the restaurant was very crowded. By the time I got my order, the line was around the building. It wasn't a quick in and out, but it did not take too long. The great thing is that after leaving the drive-through, you are put at a light. You are able to turn right, left, or go straight into the mall. It is a pretty busy McDonald's, but the location right off the expressway makes it a great pitstop if you are needing a quick bite to eat or a drink. read more

This McDonald's deserves 0 stars, AND should be closed down. Worst McDonald's experience I've ever had in my entire life; in every state & country I've ever been to. I dined in, so perhaps I would have had better luck in the drive thru, but probably not since we overheard something about a 700 second drive thru timer The best part of my experience: the decor. The worst part: 25 minutes for fast food. Not because it was crowded, or because they had to drop a dozen baskets of fries, and they certainly didn't appear to be short staffed. The food came out ice cold, the cheese on my burger had hardened back into an inedible plastic square. There seemed to be little concept of speed for most of the employees, and there was plenty of time for them to be texting on their phones. Pro tip: If you dare to eat here, don't even think about ordering with the employee at the front. She barely acknowledged us, except for when she couldn't help but keep interrupting to ask if we were finished ordering. I will say, there was ONE female employee that was the only courteous, attentive one in the group that night. I wish I would have gotten her name. All of my experiences at this location have been lackluster. We drive over from Kentucky a few times a year to go to the Kenwood Towne Center. Today while my husband went through the drive thru to grab us some drinks, I attempted to go into the lobby (wearing a mask) to use the restroom. I was told by a carhop that I wasn't allowed inside. When I proceeded to tell him I simply really just needed to use the restroom really fast, he proceeded to tell me I could walk to the Matress Firm and ask them. We have to stop giving our money to this location. The employees here are so angry and horrible. It has been a disgusting experience each and every time we have visited. This time we waited 10 minutes after being told to park "by the flag pole" from the drive through. So we went inside to get our food. The order was brought out while my bf was inside and I was told by the guy who brought the food out that he couldn't give me my food until I pulled up to the correct spot? The place they told me to park when pulling forward?!!! My bf came out behind him and the employee again said he couldn't give me my food until I pulled up further (less then 3 ft) he was handed the food and it was missing a biscuit and a hash brown. My bf took the food back inside and was told we couldn't be given a biscuit bc now it was after breakfast and we had been waiting for the last 20 minutes by this point. So we ordered during breakfast and were allowed to order but now that it was pst breakfast we couldn't have what we ordered bc it took them too long to make it?! And then we are treated like trash by the employees??!!! Please shut this location down. It is run by horrible people and the managers couldn't care less. The drive-thru always is slow/busy, with 30% of the time they will get something wrong. However, they are always quick to resolve your issue. If you go inside, the service staff appear to be mostly positive and in a good mood. They even take the extra time to make sure you have everything you need. Today, the manager even went out of his way to quickly inform me that he noticed the lid I had put on my drink wasn't on all the way. This is the absolute worst McDonald's in the US. They have completed a new store and it is worse than the old one, which was already bad. Employees are more concerned about their cell phones than customers. Food quality is bad. Fries are cold. Production is sloppy. Wait times are 15-18 min for what should be 3-5. You can be busy and be good. No here. It is a matter of time before they are non compliant with their agreement with HQ and will lose the franchise. I would rather go to Arby's down the road or Wendy's over on Kenwood. THIS PLACE IS POORLY MANAGED....they have the traffic...not the people in place for success. I go through this drive thru a few times a month. Food is as expected. BUT, I find the employees here are always courteous and respectful. They use "please" and "thank you" and ask about my day. I'm consistently pleased with their friendliness. Not all fast food restaurants have quality employees. This is the WORST McD's I've been to in over 30 years. The dining area was an absolute disaster: trash cans all overflowing, trash on half the tables, garbage and spilled drinks covering the floor in many areas. It was disgusting. My simple order of a burger, fries, and a drink took 15 minutes to fill. And no, the restaurant was not crazy-busy at the time. There were plenty of staff and not that many customers. Oh, and my simple order came out wrong. How do you mess up "Double cheese and small fries, for here"? It took these clowns three tries to get it right. It can be a pain dealing with mall traffic. But! It does have a traffic light at one end of their lot. The place can fill up on weekends from mall lunchers, but they normally have plenty of seating. The food is always fresh, and their quick with their drive thru, especially in the morning with breakfast. read more

I ordered an iced caramel macchiato and was told to pull up to the second window, sat there for 15/20 minutes before finally going inside, only to find out they forgot about me. When they gave it to me, it was in an insulated hot beverage cup with the corresponding lid. Wtf? I tried putting a straw in it but it spilled everywhere, and when I asked for it to be put into a regular iced coffee cup (not a ridiculous request in my opinion), they seemed annoyed. Finally, the drink didn't even have caramel in it. Took over 30 minutes. What a mess. read more
