I usually don't give reviews, but I can't keep quiet anymore past two weeks have ordered meals and been charged for adding cheese to an item. My wife sat almost 45 minutes waiting for them to fix item. They never fixed it just let my wife sitting there thinking they were. This restaurant has gone to crap since being sold to the new owners. They clearly don't give a about quality service. If I could get negative stars I would gladly give They charge over a dollar for cheese and steal your money. read more

This is, undoubtedly, the SLOWEST fast food restaurant around. There is absolutely nothing fast about the service. The staff seems friendly, but perhaps they are severely understaffed, as waiting 15 minutes for food at 9:45am is not normal. Absolutely terrible service--easily the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I could overlook the long wait times and mistakes during construction, but waiting 15+ minutes for my meal, only for it to still be wrong, is ridiculous. Whether it's a management issue or employees who just don't care, I won't be coming back. This McDonalds is so up and down but today pushed me over the edge. I was in line at 10:21 for breakfast and had started to give my order when the screens changed to lunch and the girl said sorry changing over to lunch! Horrible Service, rude customers. Food is always rushed out with half the order missing. Making sandwiches or burgers at restaurants is suppose to be an art. I am very disappointed in our McDonald's since it has new owners. I have been through the drive-thru line many times, have received the incorrect order many times, and surprise of all - they have been out of the basics: chicken, shakes, hamburger, ice cream, etc. This formerly was the best McD's but no more. The help is friendly but some are much more efficient than others. I am so sad to see this deterioration. This McD's has continually gone downhill. I've given it 3 opportunities to earn my business because it is difficult to keep good employees in the food industry. I should have stopped at the 1st time. Waited 20 minutes for fries and my order was wrong. The orders that were right were cold. The Chicken was dry and the bun burnt. To top off my experience, the hygiene of the employee bringing my food was very disturbing. Needless to say, we didn't eat our food and will never give our business to this location again. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I've been here a few times and kept giving it a chance because I figure that with McDonald's you get what you pay for... However, I've never had worse experiences than at this location. When going through the drive-thru, I pulled into the 2nd lane and did not get waited on. After waiting on 3 cars from the 1st lane get their order taken before mine, I backed up, pulled into the 1st lane, and then finally had my order taken. Another time I went inside to get breakfast. The guy taking our order just could not get it right. My husband repeated it to him many, many times and he kept repeating it wrong. (It was only 2 sandwiches and a drink). When we realized that he was not going to get it right, we just said, "ok, fine" so we didn't have to deal with it. We ended up getting 3 sandwiches. Even another employee came over to the guy and told him that he was not allowed to take any more orders. The last time I was there I went through the drive-thru. I placed my order, paid, and they had me pull into one of the parking spots. There were 5 other cars in the parking lot waiting on their orders as well as another car waiting in the 3rd drive-thru window. After waiting for 30 mins, and watching at least 6 other vehicles who arrived after me get their orders, I still did not have my order. I had to get out of my car and go inside. I will definitely choose another fast-food restaurant in the future. read more

the Last couple weeks we have been trying to get ice cream around 8 o'clock and out of the 3-4 times we went they always tell us the ice cream machine is broken. your The only McDonald's that we go to that this happens at. Get your crap together. Buy a new ice cream machine or get employees that want to do their job correctly. Finding good entry level help is tough now but sheesh. For years this franchise was about the best. That changed a few years ago when it changed hands. We avoided this location like the plague for a long time due to delivery accuracy and quality. A few months ago we gave them a try again and the more seasoned help they had were good. Today, not so much. The youngsters seemed to be in a haze. Looking thru the window they seemed to be in total disorder. I asked to change my drink from a sweet tea to a coke simply because of the chaos and after seeing what was going on in window 1 I didn't trust what might have been in the tea pot. We were asked to pull forward to the window of shame to wait for hash browns. After 10 minutes and several cars passing by us with their order filled I went in. They had completely forgotten our order. They left the bag sitting on the counter during that time so everything else became cold and nasty. Avoid salads. The money taker at window 1 was also doing salad prep, right there next to the open window. When she was in the register her back was to the salads and her hair was dangling directly over the 3 bowls of lettuce. I really doubt she washed her hands after handling money before resuming working on the salads. read more

I don't usually get on yelp and complain but the manager -Brian, at this location is a total jerk!! I just sat here and watched and listened as he yelled at a young female employee and i was sitting across the store. Which resulted in her crying. Who wouldn't she was just yelled at in front of an entire crowd of people at lunch rush and all her fellow employees. There are other ways of making your point and I was sure to let her know not to be upset by anything he says or does cause all he will ever be is an old bald man that manages McDonald's! I came in here a couple nights ago around late evening and let me tell you my experience. First off service was terrible, all I ordered was a carmel frappe and it took over 10 minutes to receive it and I was the only customer in the store and the drive thru had like 1 other car. All the crew were playing on their cell phones and making themselves there own drinks instead of making my frappe. After I had been waiting almost 8 minutes I looked over the counter to see what was going on and I swear to you I saw cockroaches all around their frappe machine and I even saw some of the crew taking pictures of the cockroaches and screaming "eww come look at this" so I'm 100% it was cockroaches or at least some kind of bug. When I finally got my frappe it was a mocha one and not the carmel one I ordered but I didn't even care at that point after seeing all those bugs, I just threw it away and left. I've never been to such a disgusting place before in my life, I highly don't recommend anyone eat here!!! If I could give this place -5 stars I would read more

Worst McDonald's isn't even descriptive enough to describe the overall experience of dealing with the Cicero McDonald's. Examples- 9AM Sunday, no coffee had been prepared and expected me to pull up and wait even though I was the only person in the drive thru. How many McD's can you pull up to anytime and be the ONLY car in the drive thru. Plus, it takes them over a minute to figure out that you might want to order something. More... Ordered Diet, 2 double cheese, and a large fries for which I was charged, but got a regular Coke, probably what was a hamburger, and small fries. I had to go in to get my order fixed which cost me over 10 minutes in wait time, no apology, an empty cup, and cold fries. The ultimate sign of the quality of this McD's is that you can drive by and usually there is no real lines for the drive thru, but usually people waiting at the windows. This owner has to be drowning and doesn't care or doesn't know how to ask for help. After probably 50 second chances, I too am done with ever going back to this McD's. read more

I have been to this McDonalds twice in the last week. What used to be the best McDonalds in the state has fallen off drastically. My first trip was to the drive thru for a Diet Coke. I was charge the correct amount. I gave the young man $2.00 and was expecting the correct change when you gave me $18.00 to much he insisted I gave him a twenty when I had given him 2 singles, the young lady behind him would not leave him alone. I drove up to the window to pickup my drink and ask to speak to a manager, apparently they were to busy so I explained what had happened all I got was that they are fifteen years old, today back in the store a second time nearly 2pm. I come in and the line is 5 deep, no one at the registers to take orders, manager in drive through talking. I ask customers if they had been waited on and everyone of them said no, a few of the girls were on there phone's texting, I ask for the manager and he ask how he could help me I said you have a line of people who want to be waited on he stated, " I was talking". Finally got one person to take orders while he struggled to get others off there phones and to do their jobs. Unfortunately this store has become the epitome of what customer service has started to become in the society.
