Once again they disappoint... went there for breakfast and they had no orange juice or hash browns... Done with Chestertown

I know this review is about the dinner that I got but I also got an amazing breakfast for the free teacher breakfasts about a month ago. All in all, this place has great service, and good food. I recommend going there if you're passing through the quaint Chestertown. I work in Chestertown so it's extremely convenient. I'm not of much of a fan of fast food, however, the quarter pounder has my attention lately. The food is always hot and consistently good at this location. There is a double drive-through so there's almost never a wait. The first window, where I pay, always has friendly workers! I remember my first time getting a quarter pounder in a while, the manager and the worker both offered coupons from their apps for free fries. Who does that? Their service is above par all of the time and this location has my heart. Whenever I'm in the mood for my dolls I consider my efforts to frequent this location because of their outstanding customer service. I suggest you do the same. read more

I love McDonald's more than I should. It's no shock that the fries are always DISGUSTING. So flimsy soft and soggy. I came back for fresh fries and a little employee was hollering "you came at 1:18 and it's now 1:30" girl since when was there a timing on how fast you can come back for a complaint on the fricking order. They always mess up the order. You pay for things and shears missing a sandwich or something. Another thing they only want to give you one sauce no matter if you order more than 10- 20 or more. That it's why chick filet is 100 %%%% cleaner, Fantastic customer service and better food. read more

I wholeheartedly disagree with the low ratings this establishment has received. This is a 5/5 McDonald's with excellent customer service. My friends and I were driving to a retreat when, at my incessant bequests, we made a pit stop for some Mickie D's breakfast. I mean - no good retreat starts without some Mickie D's. We drove through the drive through and gave a rather complicated order consisting of sausage egg McMuffins without butter, hashbrowns, coupons for free entrees, etc. At the payment window, there was a breeze of calmness in the air. Did the guy actually get the entire order? It seemed so. I decided to put window-guy to the test and made a quick change up. "Can I have a round egg on my free bacon egg and cheese?" I saw them already finalizing our order in the back. The response? A smile and a "yes, no problem". 30 seconds later we pulled up. All our individual sandwiches were labeled with our customizations. I was amazed. What excellent service. Plus, the food was fresh and I didn't get sick eating the freebie the next morning. That's a #win-win. read more

I was pleasantly surprised that at lunch time the drive thru was moving quickly, the staff I interacted with were very professional and friendly and my order was made correct and served hot. Not many fast food locations hit all these notes anymore so I wanted to recognize this location for doing an outstanding job. read more

This McDonald's is filthy. The employees are POW WOWING behind the counter not paying attention to the few people that have just walked in after us. We had to ask for someone to come and wipe the table down. The floor is nasty and the drink & condiments area is even worse. Check the pictures below. Smh they obviously only hire irresponsible youth who don't seem to care about their job. Trash was overflowing, my daughters fries were crispy hard and had absolutely no salt. Best customer service. I came here with my soccer team and we ordered on the kiosk. I order with a couple other people and the total cam out to be about $43. When we went up to the counter to pay, an associate, named Cory, saw how much our total was and cared enough to take out his phone and find a coupon to scan for us. Our total went from about $43 to $30.14. This is real customer service. Definitely will come back. 10/10! read more

I do care for McDonald's any more. The food represents the care. In my opinion no one cares and it shows. If you ask for no pickles, don't just remove from one already made, you can still taste it. read more

I will give McDonald's the highest rating possible. I do not do this for the quality or nutritional value of the food; it is for their sponsorship of the Ronald McDonald House. A young neighbor of ours spent almost 6 weeks there and we learned firsthand what a comforting place it can be for a child. In this case he did survive but his father did not. I now have a different perspective on the golden arches. Take a moment if you are paying cash to drop a few coins in the contribution box at the counter. Went to McDonalds in chestertown maryland on Monday Sept. 5th. 2022. I asked for a french vanilla iced coffee and the lady in the drive thur told me they didn't have french vanilla. I asked her why and she said I work here and I know what is here. We do not have french vanilla iced coffee. So, I went to Dunkin Donuts and got it. read more

The conditions of inside the store is gross even when they are slow. Out of items constantly. Ordered Ice cream tonight and was giving a gross smoothie in place. I did not order a smoothie. It's one thing to say your out of something and offer another item in replacement. To choose to replace the item, making the customer pay for this mystery gross item... they are getting worse and worse... normally would not write a review for McDonald's but I feel like this is def an issue. If any take away comes out of this don't order the smoothie is absolutely gross. read more

Drive-thru or take-out during the pandemic. Food is typical McD's. Usual service is good, but not everyone is a primary English speaker and orders can get messed up. If the order is messed up, they act as if it was your fault. read more

Normally you won't find me giving out 4-stars to chain fastfood restaurants. But here in Chestertown, this McDonalds provides an essential service to students, free WiFi. Yes I know that all McDonalds now offers the same thing, but here in Chestertown, McDonalds is the only place after 5pm that has Free Internet inside in the Air Conditioning. So, while you can sit downtown in the park and log onto the town's free WiFi connection, you are out in the sweltering heat. This location also has a lot of power outlets for laptop users to run their devices. So here I sit enjoying a bottomless Diet Coke in the comfy AC, while outdoors is a gastly 96 degrees with humidity of 60%. This location was newly remodelled this past Spring, and is nice and clean as well. read more
