Large McCafe cup. Not the same size is the regular beverage cups.

It really is amazing how different two Mcdonald's can be and only like 2 miles apart, but in different counties. I compare this location ( in Hamilton County ) to the location at 96th and Meridian ( in Marion County ). This location prices are higher on some items. I ordered a large Big Mac meal with a large unsweet tea. I haven't had a big mac in almost 6 months and I was surprised the meal was almost 10$. My unsweet tea came in the large McCafe cup. It is not the same size I get at 96th St. It was more like a Medium. Most Mcdonald's charge 30 cents more for tea then Soda. When you are trying to avoid sugar and artificial sweeteners this or a bottle of water is it. I quit going to this location because staff I encountered at the drive thru were never remotely friendly. Today it was better. I still think I will opt for the 96th St spot. Just did this one today because I was driving right by it on Illinois St.

My issue with McDonald's is one that is echoed by most fast food chains nowadays - it's too corporate. I know, that's ridiculous - fast food isn't meant to be personalized. I think the larger issue is that it's all not what I remember eating when I was younger, which is not necessarily the restaurant's fault in the least. That being said- I remember loving McFlurrys. They were thick and creamy - not stiff like a DQ blizzard, but they could hold their own. both times I've gotten McFlurrys from this joint (Oreo the first time and Stroopwafel the second), I've been seriously disappointed: they melted in seconds and weren't worth it. I think I could make a better version myself (and now that Stroopwafels are available in the grocery store, I just might). Use some good ol' Edy's Vanilla Ice Cream and Ghirardelli caramel syrup? For McD, I'll just stick with my usual $1.09 large diet coke with ice. The rest isn't worth it.

I love this location as they are fast and have friendly service and helping the customer whenever possible . Today I went in for the 63 cent egg McMuffin as their anniversary special my aap crashed and I requested to purchase one event though I needed to purchase through my aap . The manager double checked to see if in fact she had phone aap troubles and she did let me by my sandwich and I got a sugar free iced mocha love sugar free option so happy McDonald's has sugar free syrup now for all to enjoy . I also really enjoyed the new mural painted in the location . The drive through is great as well . I would suggest this location fast and friendly service

They're improving. The young man on drive through (2pm on Wednesday) is EXCELLENT. Smart, personable young man. Making a big difference!

While I occasionally like to eat here for breakfast, today may have been the last time. My mother and I came here for Egg McMuffins today. I like my with regular bacon instead of Canadian bacon. They charge an extra 0.75 for my one strip of bacon (it was cut in half to cover my sandwich, picture attached). The sandwich cost $3.39+0.75 (sub bacon)=$4.14 (without tax). I'm not sure where they buy their bacon, but I would bet that one thin strip of regular bacon doesn't cost as much as one slice of Canadian bacon. My mother ordered an Egg McMuffin without Canadian bacon (no meat at all). Her sandwich cost the full price $3.39! We asked the man at the register, who appeared to be a shift manager, why the difference in the prices, he shrugged and said "that is the way it is". I asked him if the extra charge for regular bacon was a franchise decision, he said "no, they all do it". I told him that was not true as I have been to other McDonalds that do not. He just shrugged his shoulders. My mother then decided that she would take her Canadian bacon since she was paying for it. He then went and told one of the food people that she wanted the Canadian bacon (in Spanish), the food person laughed very loudly. My mother also ordered and paid for coffee, they didn't give it to her, she had to go back and ask for it. What is so disappointing is that this is a very nicely designed McDonalds, and for the most part, has always been friendly.

Outlets with USB ports! Fancy, fancy!

Please don't compare this to 4-star "real" restaurants. This is a 4-star when measuring against other McDonald's. I won't describe the food because c'mon, you've eaten it since you were two, you know what it is. This location is brand new, fancy shmancy, spotlessly clean, and trendy but not in an obnoxious way. They are clearly trying to hit that Starbucks study crowd with lots of outlets with built-in USB ports. And why wouldn't you come hear instead - coffee is cheap and they have the best fries! Service is fast and friendly, food order was accurate and fresh. If you have to have fast food, not a bad place to go.

Which is unique and I feel like the perfect way to try a little of each item. The flight was more than filling. All items are à la carte however if you get a side you do get a drink. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to your table. Self serve fountain drink station A couple tvs and not a ton of seating and it was very quiet as they weren't busy on a Monday night They do charge a service fee for card. The burgers were all cooked to perfection, everything tasted fresh and well seasoned and you could taste each ingredient in the sandwich. I thought the chicken was good but nothing special My hubby thought the same about the falafel The burgers are where it's at The onion rings has a nice crunch and weren't too bad just a little greasy Sidewinders fries were a huge portion and enough for 2 people to share. Definitely looking forward to coming back here.

Not spectacular, but good. The Sidewinder fries were nicely cooked. The star of this show was unexpected; the Caesar side salad was presented beautifully and was an unusually large portion (being that it was just a side item). Ambience: They're in a relatively small space. It's a burger bar, so it is what it is, but at least the building is in a nice place in Carmel. Service: You order at the counter/register, and they bring the food to your table. Service was prompt. Those three categories were all good, but I think this was just a case where the whole seemed less than the sum of its parts. They do appear to offer boxes of sliders as a take-out item, so I may try that in the future.

I was craving a sub, but in my rush to order before a work meeting, I mistakenly ordered a half sandwich. When I say sandwich, I mean meat and cheese between two slices of multi-grain bread...AND cut in half! I was so upset with myself. Not only did it not satisfy my craving, but the bread was slightly soggy. It was quite literally falling apart - maybe from the oil and vinegar if that was still included. So, I wound up taking the meat, cheese and banana peppers (it was a Grilled Italian) off of the bread and eating it with my fingers. Sans bread. The Sweet Tea and Fresh Cut Fries saved me that day. I love Penn Station subs, and it wasn't their fault that I ordered the incorrect sandwich, but it did leave me wondering why they even sell those types of sandwiches to begin with. I would like them removed from the menu! LBVS

But I needed something different, because the Greek food scene here just hasn't hit the same for me after growing up around Chicago and living on both the East and West Coast. This place was exactly the kind of spot I was hoping to find. First off, the owner is an older gentleman and he's awesome. I ordered, stood at the register waiting to pay, and when he came back he asked if I needed anything else. I told him, "I need to pay," and he just goes, "No, you pay after you eat. Don't worry about it." You don't find many places like that anymore. The gyro itself was packed to the absolute brim. Honestly, it could easily be two meals. The meat had great flavor, the pita was fresh and flaky, and everything worked perfectly with the tzatziki, feta, lettuce, and tomato. The place itself is simple when you walk in. Nothing flashy, nothing overdone. But between the owner, the regulars, and the overall feel of it, it almost feels like you're sitting in someone's home you grew up in. Comfortable, welcoming, and real. Definitely a must-try. The gyro gets a solid 8.1/10 from me.
