As much as MCdonalds is charging now they can at least give you what you ordered. Food is always overcooked and they never put the condiments in the bag that you ask for. Stopping here is usually a matter of convenience. Thinking back, many of the visits coincided with a trip to or from the Punta Gorda Airport. Other times I simply got thirsty but still had errands to run and went through the drive through for a beverage. Giving an overall rating seems a bit misleading, as the experience at this location fluctuates. There have been a few times it has been as expected and a trip through the drive through got us on our way with the correct order. Other times we've had significant delays waiting for our order and /or received an incorrect order. Last Saturday night was one of the times where we were delayed. We arrived just after 9 PM and they are open until 12 AM. We were coming back from the airport and I didn't feel like going to the grocery and then cooking. We opted for Artisan Grilled Chicken sandwiches. It didn't appear to be busy but everyone had to wait for food. There were already two cars waiting in the #1 and #2 slots. The only car in front of us went around the building and I think they left. We never saw them again. When we got to the window, we were told it would be 8 minutes and if we wanted to wait to go to slot #3. The food was as expected when we received it but telling every single car that went through the drive thru to park and wait seemed highly unusual. read more

This has got to be the second worst McDonalds for customer service I have ever been to. The food has always been good, hot and fresh, but the customer service is horrible. The kitchen is slow. Went to the drive through for breakfast, not very many cars but incredibly slow, waited 15 minutes. Apparently they can't read their grill slips, got home and my order was wrong. That rating is being kind. Have gone couple of times and was treated rudely both instances. They apparently do not care about customer service. While placing my order I asked if they still had the grilled chicken sandwich as apparently they are still doing a limited menu and was told NO! Not helpful or kindly or even a little apologetically, just no like quit wasting her time. We weren't given a receipt or even thanked. Then when we approached the window to receive our order the girl practically threw it at us. My husband barely got out that he wanted some ketchup before the window was slammed. And furthermore we discovered our order was wrong but again the window was slammed shut so we had to wait for her to notice us and upon opening the window was asked "is something wrong?" . Apparently this happens alot because she didn't ask if we needed anything else just is something wrong. We pointed out we had an item missing which she just said hold on and then a MANAGER comes back and states a price as apparently we hadn't paid for the item. Very rudely I might add. Ok no problem but we feel she could've said politely that she is sorry but apparently our order was improperly entered but if we would like we could pay then. if i could give 0 stars i would. we came to mcdonald's for the free mcflurry promotion. we downloaded the mcdonald's app for 2 people and 2 mcflurrys, and it took 2 full minutes for the boy to take our order. he was a ginger (just saying for managers to keep tabs on him). he did not like the fact that we only came there for the mcflurrys. he started yelling at us over the speaker which was very uncalled for. when we were actually receiving the mcflurrys from the 2nd window, the girl with a resting bitch face only gave us one mcflurry. once we told her that we ordered 2, she rolled her eyes at us and we showed her the receipt and she gave the 2nd one to us without saying a word. mcdonald's please get on your shit. thank you. read more

I vowed never to go to this McDonald's again because I have to sit for 20 minutes in drive thru no matter what time of day it is. Today was pretty quick but the girl at the window told me she wasn't allowed to put M&Ms in a milk shake but could in a McFlurry. I also wasn't allowed to substitute my drink for a Milkshake so everything got rung up separately. For 3 meals turned out to be $35 which is absolutely ridiculous!! Worst McDonald's. I've never once received the right order. My kids like plain cheeseburger happy meals, you would think this would be an easier task... less work. Nope, not here. The only thing they have going for them is their location. The management is rude and clearly knows they don't have to care about customer service, as they're always busy. Location, location, location. There's another McDonalds about 2 miles down the road, it's worth the drive. No long lines, idiots taking your order or poor management. I know this is just a fast food place and really who cares, but this place sucks. Any negative attention is warranted and needed, then maybe they'll change staff. I know that McDonalds is not a place that typically gives good customer service, but WOW! I ordered my food and sat in the restaurant for about 15 minutes to eat it. The only good thing I can say is that my food came out in a reasonable amount of time and I was treated well. The drive through was really long, so I went inside. The entire time I was there the manager was berating all of her employees and even a table of customers. She yelled at a table of young girls. (From what I could tell there was a mixup in their order and she was adamant that they were going to pay for it). She constantly yelled at all of her employees the entire time I was there. It made for a very tense environment, and even though it wasn't directed at me I was incredibly uncomfortable. No manager should treat their employees that way, especially not in front of guests. read more

i paid for an order with my mobile app and received the code to give to the teller as well as an email receipt for my mobile app order. the teller said that my order was not completed. after going back and forth i had to pay for the order twice so me and my kids could eat dinner. to top it off my custom order which i paid extra for was a fish sandwich with no cheese and .40 cents extra for lettuce and ketchup added. after all the frustration at the drive thru when i went to eat my sandwich low and behold there's the cheese and no lettuce......UGH!!! this is the second time i have had this happen at this particular mcdonald's the first time i had to pay twice it was just for a big mac so i ate the extra payment myself (your welcome for the free 5 DOLLARS). now after time on the phone with the McDonald's rep to file the report case number 16919757. now i have to write a letter to my credit card company to dispute the charges and go through whatever frustration that will bring. are you beginning to feel the aggravation over a less than 12 dollar order. please educate this staff and help other people as well as my self so nobody else has to go through this............ read more
