As far as fast food joints go this one has got to be my absolute favorite! I used to come here just for the smoothies but when I found out you can get a smoothie and half of a sandwich or salad I feel like my whole life changed. Now I frequent this place and it is my go-to spot for a quick meal. The quality of the food here is definitely above par and the drive-thru adds convenience. Not sure exactly how "healthy" it is for me but it feels better than chicken nuggets and french fries. The staff is always friendly, patient, and attentive... The only one to take my order was Scarlet, who is already seemly operating the drive through window by herself. I love Tropical Smoothie. It's where myself and construction crew eat lunch nearly everyday. This location constantly makes our order wrong and then have a really bad attitude about it instead of being apologetic. Today I attempted to do my usual order which is a chipotle chicken club in a wrap instead of that flatbread. I was immediately told they couldn't do that and when I asked why when I get the same thing everyday with no issues the cashier scoffed at me with a nasty attitude and asked the manager if they could do that. To which he replied "whatever, that's fine" as he rolled his eyes. The cashier then proceeded to point me out to one of her other colleagues and start talking about me. You're better off going to a different location with a much nicer and more accommodating staff. read more

I had the worst experience at this location with my sister this morning. We ordered two banana boost smoothies with peanut butter. My smoothie came out fine but the employee working messed up my sisters order and the smoothie came out with strawberry instead. We sent it back because that's not what we ordered. Then we ordered two Baja chicken bowls and they came out with a wrap instead. Mind you we asked for our food to go and they come out with the food for here. At this point I'm just getting really irritated with everything and these were obvious signs I should have just asked for a refund and left. So then we both are given our chicken bowls. They came out with a bowl for here again. I did not receive a to go bag so I just shoved my items into my purse.I was just really fed up with the place and my son was getting fussy and hungry so I really just wanted to get the hell out of there. So then I get home and look through my Baja chicken bowl and I start to notice that some of the lettuce is wilted and there's barely any rice or beans.In the picture that is displayed on the menu it clearly shows more rice and beans rather than 90% lettuce. Oh also my sisters chicken bowl was missing the avocado. The worst part is that while looking through my chicken bowl I stumble upon wood chipping's.And yes I will include the photos because this is absolutely ridiculous. God forbid my almost 2 year old son could have choked on them!! So that brings up major concern if the workers are so careless as to what food they are serving. I then called the location on the phone and they were willing to at least refund me my money back for the chicken bowl that I barely even touched anyways. So I drive back to the cafe and was refunded my money. This is still unacceptable to me and unfortunately there was not a manager working at the time but I hope they see this! The delivery time for one smoothie I ordered was about 1 hour and 30 minutes. In my perspective, that is an ridiculous amount of time to wait for a smoothie.
