I've given Starbucks multiple chances, but their matcha drinks are consistently awful. Each time, I get with huge clumps of matcha that make the drink undrinkable and taste like acid. It's like they don't even care enough to mix it properly. The taste is horrendous, and it's clear that the quality of their matcha is bad as well . I decided to stop at Starbucks after returning some clothes to Belk. It was on Tuesday and there is a farmers market in the parking lot there from 1-6. Needless to say, the place was packed. I went to the drive thru and ordered bacon and Gruyère egg bites and a double decaf expresso con pana (whipped cream). So I was on line for a little while and I drove up to find a young man wearing a mask. He was very courteous and my drink (two sips lol) was very good! It's basically the only carbs for that day. The egg bites were delish as usual with their creamy texture and pieces of bacon! It's nice to see a Starbucks that's totally open, but the staff is still taking care. It's the height of the snow bird season and you would never know there is a pandemic going on with the amount of people in the parking lot. Starbucks is a billion dollar company. Not sure why they decide to add so much ice. It was 90% ice. One sip and it's gone. I would like this re made. There's no need for me to ask for light ice. I get asked if I want extra milk because they won't fill it all the way. Honestly in this economy I believe Starbucks has enough money to be making a reasonable drink without me having to ask for extra things. Do a better job please. My drink taste different every time. Let's spill the tea... First off I would leave less stars if I could. Slowest Starbucks on the planet, I've spent at times 40 mins in line. The cashiers at the drive thru window are 9/10 times rude and really push you to leave a tip because they had to run back and get your food. Sorry if you push me to leave a tip, you will receive nothing. I usually tip generously, but if you basically are telling me I have to, you will receive a big fat zero! Last time I was here, this lady/dude was so incredibly rude to me and my daughter and it started from the spot in the drive thru where they take your order. A little loud, a little crowded, very busy. My mom and my brother meet here every week and as I am visiting my mom for a few days, I crashed their party. The queue was slow. Slower than usual. I only go to this location because it is conveniently located by my house. I'm never fully satisfied with the service here but today was exceptionally BAD. According to my iced pistachio latte, my order was placed at 8:59am. We left the drive thru at 9:15am. The most important thing about this experience was we waited at the window for 10 minutes for 1 bacon sausage wrap that we ordered at the intercom. When I asked the girl at the window what's taking so long, she sharply replied "it's in the oven." The other guy was more apologetic and shared with us that they got a influx of mobile orders at the same time. Not my problem! While I understand that fluke mistakes do happen, this is not my first experience with this store being frustratingly slow. There was no sense of urgency from any of the staff that we encountered. Placed an online order was told over the intercom they need more than 4 minutes to make an order with straight attitude which I totally get that however it could of been said in a more appropriate way or not said at all.
