For whatever reason, this location is always super slow in service and the interior is usually really dirty. However, this location is the closest to my dad's house so it's the one we visit the most often. My go to order is a black cold brew coffee with a shot of sugar free coconut syrup - a tropical delight! I was so annoyed and thrown off by him acting like that, that I forgot to order my daughter's chocolate milk. When I got to the window, I asked to add the bottle of chocolate milk. I was told that they could not add anything on during rush hour (10:40am on a Thursday ) I told them that it wasn't like I was adding on a sandwich that took time to cook, or even a drink that had to be poured/mixed... it was a bottle of chocolate milk! I don't understand the point of the Dunkin' Donuts "to go" app ordering service if the employees have no clue what it is. Every time I order through the app (to save time) I end up with one of two scenarios: 1) I pull up and say I'm picking up for (name) and the employee will say "what?" And I'll have to explain I ordered through the app and I'm picking up my order. Then sometimes they get it, other times they STILL don't. And/Or 2) I order and it makes you pay ahead of time and I get there and they say "so yeah we are out of like, half these donuts". Usually both of these happen. This Dunkin' Donuts totally sucks. They never have anything when I go there. If there're not burning your food they're just out of it! They are constantly out of all doughnuts and the service is not great either. Any complaint of the constant lack of items is met with a nonchalant "well were the we're the busiest dunkin" well then someone obviously needs to be ordering more food, don't you think? If this was once or twice I wouldn't have even left a review but it's literally EVERYTIME me or my family goes there. And the staff could care less. There's no apology or offering what is available so you know your other options. It is night and day from the pine island location. I have been here twice and I can truly say this is the worst dunkin in all of cape or fort. The first time was a very miserable sounding man, who was rude at the window and messed our order up twice. Figured he was just having a bad day so we came back another time. Bad decision. The girls were laughing at us rudely behind the intercom to the point I didn't know what they were saying and I couldn't finish my order, then when I pulled up I greeted them kindly and was ignored, they weren't wearing masks or gloves, and as she shoved the bag of food into my hand she scraped me with her very long fingernails. Girl with the brown ponytail and super long fake nails was BEYOND rude and not following any type of protocol. Never said a word to me besides "here". Sunday afternoon driving down Santa Barbara and I thought a frozen coffee would really hit the spot for both of us. The drive through line was five cars deep so it took a long while to place our order. After waiting over 15 minutes in line, I asked for two large frozen coffees. Well, it was extremely disappointing to be told that there's no ice to make one of those. No ice? The whole state of Florida must be in an ice shortage because of global warming. I was going to offer to bring a bag of ice from 7-11 but we were meeting some friends in a few minutes somewhere else and time was running late. Half the menu is cold drinks so go figure. Coincidentally, the location in Golden Gate did the same thing to me just two months ago. Not happy with the absence of an apology at either location given by the salesperson as well. I went in there last night around 6pm or so. There was 1 customer struggling to place an order and two employees. The female employee seemed pleasant enough and the guy was busy trying to help the customer decide what they wanted. I was in there with 1 other person and just made to stand there while the female employee never offered to help me. It became clear that the guy was going to start to make two blended drinks. I asked if someone was going to get me a cup of coffee. The response that I got was Huh? At that point I walked out. While it sounds like the employees are to blame this is all about leadership. This place is horrible. I come through the drive thru tonight and there is an employee out back throwing up. I'm hoping the whole time it's just some random dude out back puking but it's not. This place needs a Manager who is older than the high school kids they hire. Don't most management people know what "sweethearting" is in the business? We go to this location about 4-6 times a week in the afternoon or on weekends as it is closest to our home. Have seen with our own eyes these young employees giving friends free drinks, donuts, etc. And...Management wonders where the profits are going!!! This location on Santa Barbara (Cape Coral) definitely needs their franchise owner to be at this location more often. Employees don't care about customer service PERIOD. Never acknowledge when a customer comes in, wait at the counter is lengthy before an employee even comes over to take our order, the place is dirty, dustpan sits in the middle of the hallway to restrooms and Lord knows where the broom is as it hasn't been swept, coffee beans have been spilled on top of the containers for weeks and no one seems to care to clean around this store. Flies on donuts. We will drive a bit further to another Dunkin location as this place has gotten ridiculous. I have been going to this store for at least 8 yrs. During this time, every time I order when I pull up to pay and get my order I'm told they are "out" of one or more of the product. Now this can happen once in awhile but today it happened again. There is no corp office telephone that has anyone answer, you call and get music, then you're asked to leave a message. By this time I have to hang up because my blood pressure starts going through the roof. The Manager is either stupid or has had no training in how to place orders correctly. Oh and when I pulled up, the back door was open and a girl was walking over empty trash boxes, a total mess. Also, having lived in New England the Dunkin stores are like a religious experience, so I know it has to be something else.
