Our server was quickly at our table to take our drink order and invite us to proceed to the buffet. They offered a nice selection of meats, veggies and salad. The prime rib and ham at the carving station was quite tasty. For meat on the buffet, they offered chicken and salmon, both also tender and tasty. I also really enjoyed their roasted baby potatoes, they were quite flavorful. There was an omelet and waffle station and on the buffet, they had scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and biscuits with gravy. I skipped all the breakfast items and focused on the lunch meat, veggies and potatoes. I only went up once and was thoroughly stuffed. Oh, and the Bloody Mary with Tito's vodka was pretty tasty, too. The dessert table had a nice variety of breads, cookies, cupcakes, donuts, etc. I would say they tasted good, but were not over the top. That said, I really did appreciate the selection and the care they took to ensure the table was clean and full of sweet treats. It was a busy environment, but casual and it didn't feel too hectic. Our server was very attentive, friendly and efficient. All in all, we enjoyed our Easter buffet at Burntwood Tavern and would go again.

It was another beautiful morning in Ft. Myers. After an appointment close by, we decided to have a…read morelate breakfast at Skillets. It was still too warm to sit outside in their inviting covered patio that had fans. So we were seated immediately and Knesia was our lovely server. She brought a pot of coffee and filled my cup and left the pot there for my refills. I opted for the French Omelet, which is no longer on the menu. Eggs, goat cheese, ham and was covered with Hollandaise sauce on top. For my side had my favorite, skillet potatoes. I also had a giant buttermilk pancake, which was as big as the plate it was on! Dave had the scrambled egg platter with crispy bacon, homemade grits and a pancake too. He loves the fact that they serve the syrup in a little carafe and it is warm along with lots of butter. Everything was super delish and we were really carbing it today! You can always depend on Skillets for consistency and fresh delicious food. The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant with their wood tables and chairs. As much as we try not to spend a lot on breakfast, this meal was so large that we didn't eat the rest of the day lol! It's nice to splurge once in a while and we throughly enjoyed our breakfast, the warm and friendly service and the lovely ambience of Skillets!

We had a really good experience at the other location, but today's experience was even better! Service extraordinaire from our heartfelt greeting by Nicole and owner/chef, David. Smooth sailing all the way to the end, when Nicole brought us our complimentary Zefflers (spelling?), or mini beignets. Our main meals also hit the spot. Paul loves their Monte Cristo and I was in the mood for blueberry pancakes and bacon (also got two eggs over medium as part of their Small Morning Bloom). The blueberry pancakes were hot, fluffy, flavorful and full of delicious blueberries. The eggs were exactly over medium and the bacon was crisp. Thanks Nicole for your great service and David for the warm and personal greeting! We love the new location as we live within 3 miles. It is also a super cute place inside. We will be back!

She was delightful. We had the Southern Skillet and Bloom Skillet - yummy. Very generous portions. As an added treat we received a free sample of their zeppolis; small fried dough with powered sugar and a little syrup - perfect ending to a delicious breakfast.
