After waiting my turn in the drive-thru, I was told to give them a moment, and they would take my order. After 7.5 minutes, a line had formed behind me that stretched into the street. I thought it best just to pull around. This allowed the car in the street to get off the through street making it safe for everyone. When I got to the window they refused to take my order. I was told to wait; those behind me had hot food waiting, so if I wanted to order, I could come in or pull around. They told me they were sh. short-staffed like that is my fault, not their piss poor planning or management. I understand you get what you pay for so I can't set my expectations too high for the McDonald's here at the Lake. However, most McDonald's are fairly consistent wherever you go. (But not this one). The management team at this location should be fired and replaced with a competent management team. If you order through the drive-thru always check your order at this location because they seldom get an order right. And they are definitely a poor example of a 'FAST FOOD' restaurant because they are always sooooooo SLOW! Another issue is that they seldom have Apple Pies ready after 6pm in the evening. Since it's an item on the menu, they could at least keep a couple ready for sale vs making people wait another 8-10 minutes for a pie. The customer service at this location was great, but the food was the GREASIEST McDonald's food I've ever eaten. The hashbrown's literally dripped grease all over my laptop and pants (it stained them,)while still in the bag, and ruined the Mcgriddles with grease as well. Expected to have a normal visit to McDonald's, but boy was I in for a surprise. I tried to use a coupon from the official McDonald's iPhone app, but it took three employees and over five minutes to place my order with said coupon. This program from McDonald's has been out for several months now so I feel as if all employees should be trained in how to use it by now. After finishing my order I thought I was done with the bad experience and could enjoy my food. However, upon receiving my order I noticed the top bun on my burger was completely burned, and the ice cream in a cup I had ordered was barely half full.
