I had wanted a fish sandwich and forgotten that those were only available during Lent. Had a brief friendly conversation with a woman I assumed was the manager, who apologized and explained why fish wasn't on the menu. After we ordered and while waiting, I mentioned to her that my husband had expressed interested in their advertised banana pudding shake but that it was a strange concept and he was hesitant to order one. She brought him a sample! and I thought that was a really nice gesture. We got our order pretty quickly, got in the car and opened the bag to discover that one of the two sandwiches was omitted. Went right back in and they were SO apologetic for the error. Under most circumstances I'd pan them for omitting a major item, but the heartfelt apolgies (from two people) were sufficient. Both sandwiches were delicious. However - if we hadn't made the discovery until we were back on the highway, I would definitely have been pretty upset.

The restrooms, floors, and self serve area were all clean and being cleaned while we enjoyed our meal. The people are really friendly & nice. The service was extremely slow so don't come here if you want your fast food fast. Our order was correct but my chilli cheese burrito looked anorexic, it was so skinny! It looked more like a tortilla wrapped up. We stopped by here on the way to Yesterland Farm. It was easy to get to and something we recognized ;) We will definitely be back if we ever head towards Canton. Great service at a fast food place is extremely rare!

I'm not sure what kind of culinary genius decided that the world was better off without seasoned fries and a side of nacho cheese, but they need to be stopped. Seriously, what am I supposed to look forward to now? Another LTO (limited time offer) that's just a slight variation of the same five ingredients you've been using for decades? The Nacho Fries were different. They were special. They were the perfect blend of crispy, spicy, and cheesy goodness that could cure any bad day. Bring back the Nacho Fries, Taco Bell. Stop playing these games with my emotions. The people have spoken (and by "spoken," I mean tweeted, Instagrammed, and probably started a few Change.org petitions). We want our fries back! Until then, I'll be over here, mourning the loss of the greatest fast-food innovation of the 21st century.
