Service is slow compared to other McDonald's locations with drive through and ordering inside. Order has been mixed up more then one visit.

We travel to Fayetteville frequently to visit our daughter and often stop to grab a bite to eat either into or out of town. The drive thru is always slow. It doesn't matter if there are cars wrapped around the building or if there's no one. Last night we decided to give it a try when we noticed just a couple of cars in the drive thru. Big mistake. All we ordered was a large Mocha Frappe, a large Half Cut Tea, and a small fry. The tea was warm, with no ice and all sweet. We were asked to pull into a space to wait on the frappe. My husband had to go inside after all the other cars left (including ones who came after us) in order to get some ice for the warm tea and to finally get his frappe. I wish I could say this was a one time thing, but it's not. read more

On this faithful Christmas Eve, My beloved husband went to this very McDonald's to purchase us some breakfast. The person in front of him paid for our meal and my husband paid for the person behind him. It was a decent amount of time he was gone, I can't complain. I suppose the service was fast. He came home food in hand and it looked seemingly delicious. Being that it was an Egg McMuffin, I took the yolk off the egg (for personal preferences, of course.) To my dismay, there was a lengthy piece of cocoa-colored hair in my Egg McMuffin. I was immediately turned off. I was *disgusted* I wanted to unleash my fury on to the cook. It seems as if the employees aren't wearing hairnets! It seems that I always have unfortunate events with fast food in the Cameron-Spring Lake area. I pulled up in my ferrari F430 on a hot summer day, it was Friday which means date night. I parked and came across heroine needless and used condoms. I stepped on the slimy, gooey, sticky, mess.. I pick up my barefooted foot and pilled the sticky gum like substance off. I walk into the establishment, I ordered seven, 6 pice chicken McNuggets happy meals; ALL with a side of regular white milk. Very disrespectful people at this location. Only the drive-thru was open because they were I guess understaffed. Food was cold and both meals were incorrect. When I asked them about it not being correct they snatched the bag out of my hand went back where they make the food and returned. They remade the burgers but handed me back the what was already cold fries. I asked if we could get fresh fries and she said they were fresh and shoved the bag at me. Went thru the drive thru and a lady tells me on the intercom, " Your burger will not have onions, we don't have onions". On the receipt they put "NO Slivered Onions" as if I didn't want any. I go to pay and the female manager tells me to pull to the "wait parking" because they don't have fries ready. There were 3 cars waiting plus the car on the curb. The time was 1:04 (lunch) and received it at 1:13. Last time they messed up my kid's burger. Drove back and they told me to wait. That was a longer wait just to redo the burger (around 4 pm). They brought it to the car and before I could check it, the employee left. I had to go inside and wait again for them to fix it. This is the only drive thru burger place on HWY 87 Linden Oaks area. Anytime Mellisa the manager is working you will get the absolute worst customer service. When I go in on Sunday mornings she's normally there and if I go in the afternoon during the weekend expect the customer service to be HORRIBLE. There's NO team work at!! The most worked person here is the guy who brings food out to the people outside. There has NEVER been a single time I got my food at the drive thru window. This is by far the slowest McDonalds EVER. I've never left a review for anything ever...but this McDonalds is just god awful. Not once have they got my order right and I live a mile away so I've been there many times over the years. What's amazing is they always seem to give you significantly less food than what you've ordered, never the other way around. I usually just pretend this McDonald's isn't there but every now and then the wife wants some so I begrudgingly go and check the order and it's inevitably wrong. Sometimes I think I've got everything but I get home and my wife yells at me. I've had guys taking my order that are pretty obviously high a couple times so that's great. I've debated about doing a review on this particular restaurant for a few months. Today was just it first me.,This has to be the worst McDonalds in the area. I've tried to give them several chances thinking maybe the various employees at the time we're having a bad day. It seems the poor customer service is the norm rather than being sporadic. Today's experience was no exception. On several occasions I've ordered sugar-free French vanilla latte. On several occasions I've had to ask them if they put sugar-free syrup in my coffee. On several occasions they put regular sweetener in my coffee. So at this point every time I order coffee from there I ask. Well this morning I asked and was told " I don't know she made it!" So I said, "But that's what I ordered so I need to know if it's sugar-free." She said, " well she made it . I'm just handing it to you." I just left with the hopes it was sugar free because I have an appointment. Guess what. It's not sugar free. On a other occasion I had to pull up to wait for coffee. 10 mins later they sent someone out to ask me what I was waiting for. The employees forgot I was sitting there waiting. So just know this...if you choose to go to this particular McDs don't expect anything but poor service. read more
