Honestly nothing against this McDonald's specifically but just a review on McDonald's in general. This store just happened to be where I got the McDonald's from. We got the 20 piece of McNuggets, which by the way went up in price on the app! It used to be have a deal - $5 for 20 piece McNuggets. Now it's $6. I mean it's one dollar but still . We also got some fries. We tried their new sauces: hot honey, and this spicy dip for their chicken tenders. The hot honey was a bit disappointing. It doesn't really have much umph to it. It starts off sweet and then ends with a little spice. The spicy dip for the chicken tenders (creamy chili dip) on the other hand was so good. It was a little spicy and has a little Asian flavor to it. The two stars is because I ended up having bad diarrhea after eating the McDonald's. Is it possible it's from something else? Possible. But I have my eyes on the McDonald's. I'm a little traumatized now so I'll skip on McDonald's in the near future. read more

This is me "if I pass-by, I must go inside to grab a cup of coffee". I find it to be super convenient for myself. I always order on the app.a large premium hot coffee and I always add five milk . The reason I add five milk is as soon as I get the coffee I can just start drinking, temperature is just right for me. After I check out in my app I usually wait less than five minutes and my coffee will be at the counter, fast service. This place has high ceiling and open spacious environment. A fat lady who looks like a manger there on Sunday afternoon is very very rude. She doesn't know what customer service is and skipped my line by calling the next customer behind me to do the orders. I told her I'm next and she answered me with attitude saying I wasn't paying attention. So apparently you have to be VERY alert In McDonald's because YOU AS CUSTOMER are responsible if YOU will be serve or not. when me and my friends were trying to sit down and eat there, there wasn't any official signs saying that under 18 or any age is not allowed to dine there. Instead, they have a employee standing around telling people that they can't dine there, which seemed like a employee joking around. Although I do understand that there are kids we dine there fooling around, but they can't just tell people to go when they haven't even started doing anything. Even when I was out, this black, tall, and wide employee chased me out and yelled at me, he even tried to threaten to break my face from a distance. It's the Mc Donalds I've grown up with so I can't complain about that. The food is your usual Mc Donald fast food. You can't really complain about it; but I've seen 'better quality' MickyD's somewhere else. I can't even get BBQ sauce without paying 25cents for it. They only serve ketchup and if you're lucky you'll get sweet n sour. -_- other Mc Donalds I've been to actually have served honey mustard! Anyway, there's not much complain about service coming from my experience. There are a couple of rude workers here but I've never encountered one that was particularly mean with me. Came here for an afternoon lunch with a friend and saw the remodeling and reconfiguration. Not sure why there are such low rating for the location, the staff performed well, my custom order correct, and was freshly made. When I picked up my order, the staff even asked if I'd like milk and sugar before I could ask them. The afternoon crowd seemed to consist of older crowds congregating amongst themselves in the front and sides of the restaurant by the windows. They weren't loud but it wasn't dead silent either. Overall, I'm impressed with the improvements and will probably visit again. read more

This is the Mcdonalds closest to my place and I just wanted to order 1 cookie and the staff was saying that they only sell in packs of 3 when it clearly states in the screen that 1 cookie will cost .49 cents. I said I just needed one and that the screen says it is .49 cents, but the staff insisted that they only sell in packs. I also told him I work at a Mcdonalds franchise too and we sell 1 cookie. A full facelift to the restaurant can not fix the poor service and quality of food. Like many of the McDonald's, the restaurant has undergone a makeover while also implementing several self service kiosks. Not only did our food take forever, the whole idea of the self service kiosks is that you take a number, leave it at your table and the food is brought to you. Did that happen? No. Our number was screamed at the front. We had go up to get our food, so not sure what the point of this location offering the table numbers for since they don't follow through, it's just confusing. As for the food, the consistency was terrible. Fries - old and absolutely cold. Filet-o-Fish - cold. McChickens - Piping hot. Nuggets - undercooked, wet and warm. I understand that this is a fast food joint and I don't really write reviews for such places but overall our experience here was just so terrible. This is definitely one of the absolute worst experiences I've ever had at a McDonald's. read more

This is the closest mcds to my home and thas why i come here. Their food is moderate, sometimes its pipin hot, crispy and juicy and then sometimes its stale and cold. The staff is also the same. Some are nice and actually greet u w a smile and then some, they just say "next" with a straight face and dont kno how to thank u after theyre done w the order. I encountered a girl this wkend who literally whispered "next" and when no one heard her she directed to me and said "i said next." Um well if u spoke louder, we all woulda heard u. This place is located in bay parkway...and I usually come here just to grab something and just chill out with a few friends just cause... What I usually get is two apple pies and a cheese burger...fills me up extremely fast... apples pies are what i usually get when I'm in this particular mc Donald's ...who doesn't like there apples pies...they only cost 65 cents each ...you know what i think I'm gonna go get one right now..haha.. the crust toasted to perfection gushy baked apples surrounded by sweet cinnomin goo....inside a green square box with steam rolling out the sides of the holes...the smells of apples! Yes, I know this is a fast food joint but I can still expect some semblance of customer service and cleanliness right? I make it a point to be pleasant to people, especially people who have to work with the public and be on their feet all day. The cashiers at this location however are almost always rude and I actually feel ridiculous trying to be pleasant when all I get is a nasty look and short-tempered response back. Last time I visited, I was told I could not order a double cheeseburger, I had to order a mcdouble. I couldn't find the double cheeseburger on the menu so I went along and ordered the mcdouble. Tonight, I noticed there is a double cheeseburger on the menu. I couldn't have ordered it though because the location had no buns and wasn't making sandwiches. Can this McDonald's get any worse? I always end up coming here because it's the closest one. However, these people are just HORRIBLE. There are the rare occasions when you get a good cashier; a few years back, I asked if I could exchange a toy, and she took the time to ask me which one I was looking for. I came back a few days later for another Happy Meal; this time, I asked a cashier if she could show me the toy for the day. She curtly responded, "No." And that's why I didn't eat McDonald's for years. I guess a good thing did come out of interacting with rude cashiers. Unfortunately, the Hello Kitty toys drew me back in... Oh, so I'm not sure if this is true for all Brooklyn locations, but for most, they'll only have ONE toy for several days, just so you won't be able to ask them for a different one. Devious, I know. I came here for breakfast today with my brother. It was relatively empty around 8 in the morning. He asked for 10 hash browns, because yes, we like hash browns. The lady, was she the manager? because she was wearing a different colored shirt, but I remember the manager being a different person. Anyway, she limps over and says, "It's too early for this, boy." If you're going to make a comment like that, please don't do it IN FRONT OF OUR FACES. Did she think we were trying to screw with her? No, we just want some damn hash browns. There's a reason why McDonald's is more expensive in Manhattan. And they deserve to be paid more. I guess I'm going to end up going to Manhattan to buy McDonald's. I've been to this place a few months ago to have breakfast. I ordered a big breakfast that include scrambled eggs, hash brown and pancakes. Once I sat down I cut into the scrambled eggs and I found a black curly hair. I was disgusted & became nauseous, I then immediately got up threw my breakfast away and walked out. Horrible experience. Ruined my morning. I then came back today with my sister and we ordered some chicken nuggets and burgers. Once I sat down in one of the booths I noticed a roach crawling behind my sister. Been using yelp for years but never written a feedback, but the service at this restaurant is just outrageous. The cashless machines weren't working so most of us got a ticket to pay at the cashier. As i was waiting on line, some other people decided to skip ahead of me and when i came out and said that there was a line, the cashier said to me with an annoyed face that "well if you had the ticket you could've just came in front of the line and paid".
