I'm not one for leaving a review and I usually don't eat McDonald's, but today is a rare occurrence where I do both. I ordered a double cheeseburger and a small fry. The burger bun was so hard, You could knock on it and injure a knuckle. The fries were almost as hard, but yet stale and mushy. If that even makes sense. I believe it's impossible to make something its own polar opposite, but McDonald's in South Fayette has done it with hard yet soft mushy fries. read more

Beloved and I were on a three-thousand-mile road trip and we were starving. Unfortunately, the only thing we could readily locate in this little town of 4,000 people was a McDonald's. However, as I had not been to a McDonald's in over a decade, I was looking forward to trying it out. I was impressed that the place was spotlessly clean and its counter service polite and friendly. I could see that they had recently remodeled, and I thought they did a very good job with a functional the of décor and arrangement. For my meal, I ordered their Crispy Chicken Sandwich, unfortunately, I say "unfortunately," as I had expected the chicken to be crispy such as they serve at a Chick-fil-A, but it wasn't. It was soggy as an old wet sponge and indeed even tasted like it. Terrible! I ate half of it thinking that might tide me over until we hit the next town and something better. It will now be a lot more than a decade before I return to a McDonald's. How they could build a chain of 37,000 restaurants serving such slop as they served me, baffles my mind. read more

After staying near the airport for an overnight stay, I simply wanted to get a quick fast sit down breakfast so I thought McD's would be great. I was leaving early so the McD's at the Summit supposedly wasn't open so I drove to this Bridgeville location hoping to get what I was looking for. Sadly this place was open but only the drive through was open. The inside of the restaurant visibly was going through some sort of remodeling and modernization renovation. That would have been great if it was done but the doors were locked. I really didn't want to take it to go or eat in my car so I left. Being open is great, but only for the drive through? Not so great. I've never seen a McD's with a closed dining room that was actually still open. I guess eventually they'll be opening that dining room but not living in greater Pittsburgh, the odds of me coming back are not great. read more

These bad reviews blow my mind. I have been passing other locations to pick up here for the past year. I've tested bridgeville McDonald's several times- mid week lunch, weekend lunch, late night. Every single order has been insanely fresh. The fries are right out of the fryer and the burger is ad quality. 99% of other locations have no excuse for the quality of their food. I never leave reviews and these double cheeseburgers have made want to contact corporate. Please give this manager a raise, treat them right. Wait times and employee interactions are average, not good or bad. But it doesn't matter when you get this quality. read more

Filthy filthy rude and filthy ... bathroom was horrible - it looked as though no one had tended to it in weeks .. unfortunately I didn't use it till after we ate. (yes I use hand sanitizer) The staff didn't appear that they wanted to be there and it showed it their attitudes and the quality of what we received. Glad I don't live in the area because that gives me the option to never go back. My usual time visiting is almost always weekday evenings, sometimes a late Saturday afternoon. Each time, the restaurant is at least 90% clean. The staff hustles and I swear my wait time has never exceeded 5 minutes. The manager guy there and his crew communicate, get it done and have your order in a consistently short amount of time. (OK, I do not go during the weekday lunch rush, which is probably when they experience their greatest volume.) This is a very nicely run fast food restaurant. I wish you can tip THESE people. If you go most places to pick up an order (PICK UP, as in you walk or drive to GET your food) they have that stupid tip jar out. McDonald's workers are busy constantly for an entire shift - they should get some bonus or something. read more

I have been coming to this McDonald's everyday before work. We get teas and coffee and sometimes breakfast. We always specify UNSWEET tea. It says it on the board and on the receipt. We didn't drink them until work about 8 miles away. It was sweet. I saved the receipt and went back the next day. The general manager says they can't do anything if we don't bring it back with the receipt and call the same day. I'm at work and I knew I would be going back the next day. They basically accused me of drinking the tea and lying to get my 1.39 back??? Nope done. They've lost a loyal customer at this location! Manager and general manager were extremely rude. read more

Didn't get what we ordered and woman at the drive through wouldn't let me finish my order before she started throwing me a price and telling me goodbye. Food was cold but burnt and I ordered no onions on my burger and got onions, wanted mustard and got a small dab of it. Employees weren't the friendliest either. This place has always been and continues to be the SLOWEST Drive thru around. Most of my visits have been pleasantly met by a team member who is kind and courteous. The last time I visited I was met by a very rude GM who called me derogatory names for not moving up into the waiting space. Mind you I had already been waiting since ordering 10 minutes prior. I would not choose this establishment if you have other choices. The owner of this establishment called me and said she was offended because I accused this particular venue of being notoriously slow with their drive thru service. McDonald's in Bridgeville... where do I start. The Before Renovation Times (BR for short) were magical. We are all familiar with the quote, "I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them," and this quote holds true for McDonald's in Bridgeville. I spent many a summer night strolling into McDonald's shortly before closing with my friends, ordering a seemingly infinite amount of food for a great price. The staff was always friendly, and the service reigned unparalleled to any McDonald's location I have ever stepped foot in. Some workers even affectionately began to refer to my friends as "The Midnight Gang." The music, food, and atmosphere were terrific, and I always felt right at home in my favorite booth, feasting away with my friends. There was even the long-awaited "Double Day," in which the staff gave us double the order, and returned double the change. Such events were off-limits to the common man, and they were a great way to make regulars, such as myself, feel valued. However, it all changed when one day I noticed the formerly-24/7 McDonald's was closed. It didn't sit right with me, and what happened next, nobody could have predicted. Although McDonald's was seemingly upgraded, with flashy new ordering kiosks, soda machines, and even animated tables, I knew something was missing. McDonald's had made the greatest sacrifice of them all to appease the masses: it had lost its soul. No longer did I feel as if I was stepping into a relic of Bridgeville's past, with history and adventure brimming around every corner. Instead, for the first time in years, I felt like what I was: an average Joe, standing in line for a cookie-cutter burger, to be enjoyed in what amounts to a futuristic/post-industrial feeding trough. Although I may never return, the glory days at McDonald's will continue to put a smile on my face every time I pass under the golden arches. Whether they are barely visible in a rainstorm, blending against a sunset, or beaming with pride in the dark of the night, the golden arches will always make me feel at home. read more

They lost my business. Dirty parking lot, tables, floors, incorrect orders, slow service, noisy crew and patrons---what' s not to love? The cashier who served me was nice, but if your order is wrong, she will challenge you instead of apologizing, making it right, and moving on. She's in it to win it. I was in two weeks ago. Stupidly, I ate my meal inside (asking for table to be cleaned, which they did, immediately). The GM came over, asked if I minded if he could talk a minute. Of course, I agreed; he sat down (!). He asked me if I was the one who did a survey, and commented on the noisy patrons (specifically older). I looked him in the eye and said yes. He told me it lowered his store's score, and he had no intention of asking the noisy patrons to leave. I said I didn't want them to leave, just not shout (across the store) and swear. I realize that some can't hear well, and talk very loudly. Most just don't care. They take over the whole place. There is no escaping them, no matter where you sit. He did, however, say he would ask them to leave if they were using profanity. He also said he's the only one that sees the comments. I told him I appreciated him explaining, in detail, how the surveys affect his store. I said to summarize, you want me to knock it off on the surveys. He said yes. This talk took my entire meal, which, honestly, I preferred to eat alone. I left as soon as he was done. I feel his behavior was tacky and unprofessional. I bet he didn't and wouldn't, have a talk with the obnoxiously boisterous patrons that cuss. That was my last visit. I wish him well. read more

Something fishy is going on. Went here twice in one month, both times at 3:30 am (going to work) weekdays. The first time they told me none of my cards worked, but I just filled my car with gas and got a cup of coffee. Was told my American Express Gold card no limit was declined. They wanted me to pay cash only, so I left empty handed. Second time 2/15/2016 driving by I saw two cars in the drive thru so I pulled up to the drive thru.The girl tells me over the speaker " I was told to tell you we are not serving food for the next 30 minutes" again left empty handed. So from now on I go to Shop and Save and buy microwaveable breakfast sandwiches when I feel like. As long as the owner is making money who cares right. read more

Things haven't changed. Gave a bad review last year due to cleanliness and unfathomable wait time at drive thru. Last night at approximately midnight, my son and I returned home from college football game, went thru drive thru and......YES!!! 8-10 cars in both drive thru lanes and NO one on speakers lol! For 25 minutes!!! Eventually we all cleared out the lanes and left, but I couldn't help but knock on the window and ask the manager (laughable) if they were open. He said...."yeah, but it's just me and someone else doing everything." I then asked a stupid question: "did you think to let people in line know you'd be with them in a moment and simply apologize for the delay??? The stare I got was priceless!!!! Do yourself a big favor......simply go to Get Go next door for great service, very good food and ownership that gets it!!!! This place is a total joke! read more

Not a fan of this McD's. As mentioned before, you're taking a chance if you dare request a special order at any McD's anymore...but this one is especially bad with communication. What ever happened to those "Double-Checked" stickers? Even something as simple as "ketchup only" gets screwed up about 33% of the time. Just happens way too often. The kicker was a few weeks ago as we were just starting our vacation drive, and the kids wanted to drive-thru for breakfast. One kid got a Big Breakfast...no pancakes. Wife got an oatmeal...no spoon. I got an iced coffee...all the vanilla was gunked up at the bottom. Oh, and we were missing a hash brown. Seriously? Four mistakes in one order? Believe it. I still have the receipt and was contemplating another visit to the McD's website. In fact, I hate to admit this, but I live within a few miles and I've contacted the corporate offices twice in the last year. I've finally accepted that things are never going to change, but you can't explain that to the kids. There used to be a Burger King across the street that was surprisingly worse. Poor management. I believe the employees are offered NO TRAINING. The take out window young lady poured coffee down my arm while not placing the lid on the cup correctly, and didn't even offer me a napkin, and yes, it burned me. This was after standing around talking to her coworker who was on his phone the entire time for quite a while before even getting my coffee. This was my entire order. So I had a horrible experience today 4/23 at around 11 so I had a experience at another McDonald's and to make it right they gave me these cards for free meals so I go to my Dr. Appointment and after wards my nephew what's a happy meal so this was the second week that I used two free value meal tickets and as soon as I lay them down the owner of the store comes marching out picks them up and as ignorantly a person can be started questioning me about where I got them how I got them and who gave then to me In front of other customers instead of pulling me off to the side. The thing is I always buy something with cash and the owner was mad about me using them there cause he didn't want to honor the ticket and give me the free value meals saying why do I come there and not go somewhere else. I mean this owner doesn't know how to keep workers or customers they lost a customer today the whole McDonald's I'll go to a burger king now. So I call the corporate number and told them about it and the owner and he said that it will go all the way to the top to be checked out. Of course nothing will happen. But I'm a su chef and I would never treat a customer like that. Either take the tickets or don't. No need to question me so ignorantly in front of other people.
