Really wanted to like this place but every attempt is a bust. First time drove from a long distance just to try it here, just for their hours to be displayed wrong and be closed. Been here once, waited two hours for one deep dish pie. I get it, it's a big deal to make. Takes time. But warn people if you're not optimized to make it for dine in. Wings were alright. When it finally was done, it didn't get to set, so it broke apart. It was so un serve-able they comped our order. Which was nice, so I tried to come back. Not my first time in burghs and we have a great time. Large place with plenty of seating. It does get busy during peak hours. Service was great. They were quick to refill our drinks and take our orders. The pizza was amazing. Great spice on the peppers and great flavor on everything else. Decided to visit here since they brought back their pizza, wings, and soup buffet for $14.99. I've had their food off the menu before and it was pretty good, so I had high hopes for the buffet. I sadly was disappointed. It's barely a buffet in my opinion with 3 types of pizza (cheese, veggie, and pepperoni), 3 types of wings (honey bbq, mild, and garlic) and 1 soup (tomato). The pizza was kept warm and replenished so it was the best part of the deal. Plenty of sweet sauce and gooey cheese on the thin sliced pizza. I didn't try the soup because I'm not a huge fan of tomato, would have been nice to have a different option. The wings were the biggest let down. They were barely warm, kind of dry chicken, and the sauce was only lightly placed on the breading. I barely had to use a napkin that's how little of sauce were on the wings. The honey bbq was the most flavorful with a nice tangy taste, garlic was crispy and buttery if you chose wings off the bottom of the container in the sauce, mild tasted like a plain wing. They also gave me a salad on the side with a small cup of dressing. It was mainly just lettuce with 2 cherry tomatoes, 2 small bell pepper slices, and a carrot skin. I was excited to hear that the Burgh's Pizza Buffet was back! There hasn't been a buffet since before the Pandemic. I used to patronize the old buffet pretty frequently, and looked forward to trying it again. Sadly, this is not quite like the old buffet. Sure, they still have all you can eat pizza, wings, and soup, but they no longer have the big salad bar that used to have all kinds of good stuff. You still get a salad included with the buffet price, but it's just a small side salad that the server brings to you (The breadsticks served on the salad were cold and hard). The pizza was fine, the wings were O.K., and I didn't try the soup. No longer did they have a featured side (like hoagies, Beef on Weck, Etc.), nor did they have dessert. The drink was not included in the price, so my lunch with drink and tip was $26. They offer the lunch buffet Tuesday thru Friday from 11:30-4, and on Mondays for dinner from 4-9. Called and ordered a salad for pickup and was told would be ready in 20 minutes. Arrived 25 minutes later to a nearly empty restaurant and was was told it would be "right out". This was a lie I was told several times over the next half hour or so. So I finally asked for a refund and the cook offered to make it " right away" and would be ready "in 15 minutes" (15 minutes to make a salad?????) I replied no, you already had nearly an hour and a half (total time I spent) to make a simple salad and you weren't even capable of doing that, something a normal person can do in 5 minutes. Then they tried to refund me somebody else's tab! Finally got my refund and left. WTF is wrong with that place?Haven't been there in 10 years despite driving past twice every day and now remember why. I have always loved this restaurant. The pizza is always consistently good. We ordered the original deck "pepperoni" pizza, and it was really good. I consider it one of the best in Pittsburgh. I really like the wing flavors & was tough to decide. We went with honey bbq.. and wow!!! They were delicious. The wings were cooked perfectly. We sat in a booth near the bar area. My wife and I arrived around 5pm on a Thursday and were able to procure a seat at the bar. All day Thursday they have 2.50 Miller bottles. I opted for a meatball hoagie and fries. Wow Never got the food After 45 minutes we asked about our food Server was snippy saying kitchen is busy it will come out when it is ready. We said we were running out of time so when she brings our food ,bring the check. 70 minutes later as we watched people that came later getting their food AND now we have to leave so we asked for our food to go. Stopped in here for the first time for dinner on a Thursday around 6pm. They weren't crowded, but there were definitely people seated on the bar side and a few tables on the dining room side. Our server came over immediately and took our drink order. She was back within mins to take our regular order and had no issue with my request for substitutions and modifications to my sandwich. Despite the lack of crowd, our food took over 30 minutes to come out. When it did finally arrive, we were impressed with the appearance, but let down a little, specifically on the fries. The fries were thicker cut, which isn't my preference, they had zero seasoning or salt, and were just boring. I felt bad for my friend who paid $2.99 to have them as a side. My reuben was pretty good, though. The rye was toasted perfectly and the sandwich was loaded with corned beef, sauerkraut, and cheese. It was a sloppy mess, but in the best way. My friend said her stuffed banana peppers were good, but that the marinara was a little sweet. I tasted the garlic bread on the side and it seemed fresh. I was in BridgeVille for work so I decided to stop into Burgh's on my lunch break. It wasn't busy so I was able to sit wherever I wanted, which was nice so I could set up shop with my lap top at a table near an outlet. My waitress was super nice and took great care of me on my visit. I ordered the chicken salad and it was pretty good. It definitely wasn't the best nor was it the worst salad I've ever had. We decided on a late night dinner (after 10 pm) and the burgh didn't disappoint! It was pretty full in the bar area for being so late on a Wednesday night! The bar tender Chrissy was super attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. I ordered the original deck 2 and honey bbq wings and they were delightful. I am pretty picky about pizza but that pizza was so good! I prefer thin and more greasy pizza and it hit the spot! I dipped my crust in the honey bbq sauce from my wings and it was fantastic. The honey bbq gives off a sweet honey mustard taste but it was great! I loved sitting in the bar because there are so many tvs to watch and the ncaa tournaments were on! We had one of the worst dining experiences at Burgh's Pizza & wing Pub. We ordered 3 orders of wings, a pizza, and 2 calzones. The wings came out first, but after that the service went downhill fast. It took 45 minutes after the wings for the pizza and calzones to arrive, and when the pizza finally came out, the bottom was completely burnt and black. On top of that, the chef sneezed into his hands while preparing food, and the waiter was unprofessional--constantly running his hands through his hair with long, dirty nails. We never received ranch or celery with the wings, and not once did the server check on us or refill drinks. When we finally said something, he argued with us instead of apologizing. Between the unsanitary food handling, terrible service, and burnt food, this was by far one of the worst restaurant visits I've ever had. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Our food (2 pizzas) took over an hour to come out. We were overcharged but told that would be corrected. Of course when the bill finally came out (after I had to go ask the hostess for the check and some boxes because we were coming up on 2 hours there at this point and just wanted to leave) it was for the wrong amount. Then we had to ask again for boxes that were never brought. All said and done, we were here 2 hours and 5 minutes for pizza. The server told us he hopes we will come back and he knows this wasn't a great experience, yet we weren't offered so much as a complimentary dessert to make up for the total ridiculousness of the whole experience. Since we were in the area we decided to head here since Zach hasn't been in awhile. Upon arrival Burgh's was hustlin' and bustlin'. We were told a 30 min wait but we weren't holding our breaths since it was Father's Day. But we were pleasantly surprised and were seated right at the 30 min mark. Hostess sat me right away (restaurant was almost completely empty) and I waited for them for 15 minutes, during which time nobody checked on me or offered me a drink. My family arrived and we ordered. There were 2 other tables in there restaurant and customers in the bar and the food took 1 hour. The whole time we waited, instead of hiding out of site, all the waitresses just stood at the host stand. The food came out, some hot, some cold, nothing coursed and they forgot my niece's food for another 10 minutes (probably should have came out first). Our waitress was actually very sweet and she had just started working there so I'm not even mad at her. Now normally this is where a manager would come out (if they already hadn't before) and apologize saying the kitchen was short staffed or there was an issue or they have no idea how to run a restaurant. Maybe they take the appetizer off the bill because it came out with the food after an hour. Nope. I have no clue if there was any sort of management in the restaurant at all. Didn't see anyone other than waitresses, cooks and bussers. Also nobody did anything extra to help the bussers. The whole ordeal took about 90 minutes and I was late getting back to work. read more

Wings are good, pizza is amazing, one of my favorites. Service is always friendly, but just enjoy the drinks while you wait a while on your food.
