I stopped by here because I needed more coffee in my system to complete the long drive ahead of mine. This time around, I found myself in a more rural part of Florida. I came to park here, and found it pretty packed. I haven't seen a McDonald's this packed in a long time, but granted, I don't eat at McDonald's either. I ordered a large latte, and made a quick pit stop while I waited for my coffee. They messed up my coffee order, which I was not too surprised because it's McD's and not Nespresso. I told them about the folly, and they proceeded to correct it quickly. The place, in spite of it being super packed with families, was clean. You can place your order with a live cashier or at an automatic kiosk right by the front. The wait was not too long either. The only bad part was parking, but for a busy day, it is all but expected. read more

Good and clean place to have meal fast. We ordered quarter pounder with cheese deluxe, coffee and pie. I didn't like coffee much, but burger was OK, and pie was good. The bathroom can be cleaner, but restaurant inside was very clean and well lit. The sitting tables have booth and feel comfortable. My husband found temperature a bit cold. read more

I have never received friendly service at this McDonalds. This morning's experience, however, went from unfriendly to downright rude. The female teenage cashier they have handing out food apparently hates her job and everyone that goes to tha restaurant. I literally had the window slammed in my face as I was speaking to her. I refused to remove my car until she reopened the window. At this point, I told her please include ketchup, something that is always missing when they ask you to pull forward without your food. Needless to say, when I got my food there was no ketchup. I will also say that this restaurant has absolutely filthy bathrooms and most of the time there are no toilet paper or paper towels to wipe your hands with. This must be an independently owned McDonald's because there is no way that corporate McDonald's would put up with such terrible management. Underlinine the word terrible. Oh, and don't bother trying to telephone and speak with the manager. The phone permanently rings off the hook. Just what you'd expect from management that wants to hear feedback. read more

Then I noticed how nasty their kitchen floors and broken back splash over the fries then the drink machines were not clean at al with trash all around. Terribly dirty. Terrible service. I should have known it was going to be bad when I placed an order for our family and selected "table service" on the app but when the food was ready they just shouted my name in the restaurant so I had to get it myself. Not a big issue though. The bags and 3 happy meals were left on the counter for me to take with no tray. Wasn't given any drinks, so I had to wait in line and then ask the counter lady for our drinks, telling her what I had ordered. When I told her the last drink we needed was a caramel macchiato she was very visibly upset and inconvenienced that she had to walk over to the coffee machine and make our drink. Finally got to my table with my family to eat my cold food, and two sandwiches were made wrong. No cheese on them. Made my way back to the counter to let them know about the mistake and the kitchen lady, horrible attitude, comes out and hands me two unwrapped slices of cheese to "put on" our two Big Macs. The outside of the restaurant was filthy on my visit 5/20/2023 at 2:47pm order #50 and the men's bathroom was filthy and no soap in the soap dispenser and the soap dispenser in the toilet area had been removed. So no way was I going to eat food here. The restaurant floor was filthy with spilled food on the floor. The kitchen area looked fully staffed including a lady putting together happy meals. Obviously hygiene is not a priority. Just took a hot coffee to go, The most disgusting dirty McDonalds I have ever visited. Eat there at your own risk. read more

..I like to call things by how I see them and when a simple business such as McDonalds can't say 'good day or hello', 'how can I help you' or even a 'thank you' their gonna get a yelp from me. After ordering two simple McCafe coffees inside from a teenager with no personality we waited for our drinks while a group of workers continued to chat behind counter divider doing nothing. Just watching how everything was ran was pretty disappointing. 1) the lack of service 2) the drive thru order filler was constantly touching her nose, mouth, ears and then handling food 3) there was a large piece of plywood under the men's urinals that was just so saturated with urine it was at the point of it being a sponge 4) the place was disgusting.. everything needed a good scrub and a power wash. Instead of all those workers standing around doing nothing teach them some customer service or have them get a bucket of water and a scrub brush to clean all the nasty black grease and grime crap built up on the bottom foot of everything! Gross! No pride at this local. We won't ever be stopping at this location again in Bonifay, Florida again.. Ray Kroc would be disappointed. read more

I will never stop here again. The place is filthy. First the parking lot is full of trash and there is so much grease and grime in the parking lot you could slip. You can tell it has never been cleaned since the place was built. How hard is it to pressure wash once or twice a year. The inside is just as filthy. The ceiling and upper walls have so much dust on it, it's caked on. The dirt was visibly smeared on the floors and the counter where they were serving food was wet from spills and had dried food on it. The manager should have more pride in his place of employment. Also service was super slow and when we opened our biscuits, the cheese on both biscuits was stuck inside the wrapper and only half on the biscuits. Don't waste your money, there is plenty of other places to eat in town. If I can see that much filth, it makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. read more

There was a redneck there who tilted the tea over next to me and knocked his large drink over. It spilled all over him and almost got me. I offered him a napkin and we all had a good laugh. Extremely inefficient store. Store smelled horrible and was disgusting. Watched an employee walk into the women's bathroom, make a remark about how full and gross the trash inside one of the stalls was, then set the toilet paper refill on top of the dispenser (instead of taking the extra minute to put it inside) then walk out of the bathroom, leaving the trash untouched. There was also no paper in the printer for the order kiosk. When we had to ask for our cups, staff acted extremely annoyed. The was even an employee walking through the store with a cigarette in her mouth. Horrible experience and will not be going back. read more

If I could give this place a negative star I would. Absolutely the worst McDonald's ever. Went there for breakfast and they had no orange juice and no chocolate milk. The cashier was surly at best. Ordered two mccafes and they forgot about them! I had to go up after getting my food and ask them if my coffee was made. They apparently started on one and forgot about it!! So I had to stand there and baby sit them while they made my coffees. The apple pies we ordered also were awful!! When my husband slid it out it fell apart in his hand!! And the taste was so bland and the texture was suspect too. The coffee made me want to dump it out to make sure they didn't leave the cleaning tabs in it too but judging from the expresso/fake coffee maker they hadn't cleaned it in a while so I guess I don't need to worry about the cleaning tabs. This McDonald's has consistently provided poor quality of service for the past several years, but tonight was the last straw. Got a McFlurry for my mom and brother. Recieved them only 2/3 full and sloppily mixed with all the candy still on the bottom. I politely asked the cashier if we could get them topped off with some more ice cream to which she obliged. A few minutes later this rude, passive aggressive woman thrust the first one into my face, with a huge glob of ice cream hanging out of the top. The second was similar; neither were mixed so it was impossible to say for sure which was which. I said thank you but no reply, just a contemptuous stare because I dared ask them to give me the product I paid for. I will not be eating here again. The one in Chipley isn't much better. I feel disrespected and angry at how I was treated at the Bonifay establishment and the 1.5 star average says enough. The only reason they're in business is because there aren't many places to eat in town and they're right off the interstate exit. read more

And the managers way of attempting to make amends was by trying to give my fiance a couple of fish filetts and a large fry that had been sitting around since 8:30. It was 10:30 by this time. There was a group ahead of us that ordered shakes, they waited 30 minutes for shakes before finally being told that the shake machine was no working. I was a chaperone for a high school band trip. On 3/25/18, our bus stopped at McDonald's in Bonifay, FL for dinner. We had about 35-40 people ordering food. The restaurant was, obviously, crowded and busy with our arrival. One particular McDonald's worker, Terrance B., stood out as going above and beyond in providing our large group with excellent service. He took the lead in guiding the other workers and took charge in providing all of us with our accurate orders as quickly as possible. Although it was hectic, he never lost his cool, kept a sweet smile and demeanor and continued to work diligently to have our needs met. We were truly blessed by the service provided by this young man. read more
