Did the McDonald's drive through for breakfast today. Had very rude customer service while placing my order. I ask to speak to a manager. Well come to find out it was the manager who was taking orders and being rude. No wonder they have terrible customer service at this McDonald's. The management sets the tone for service read more

They only are they the slowest fast food restaurant in Bluffton ,they are so unfriendly. I went through the drive through today sat 30 min with 3 cars in front of me. I asked a couple questions about the menu and the guy was so rude to me he didn't even answer half my questions the question he did answer he responded with attitude. I was very polite tried to be nice with the poor kid. But this seems to be The average service no matter what date you come. read more

Bad service . Mistakes on orders. Out of breakfast burritos many times over the year. ! Can't wait till Burger King to open near by!

One star for appearance. The kiosk order stations had no table tents (the screen asks for the number on it) and no receipt was issued so I had no way if knowing without asking which order was ours (two McMuffins and two drinks)- BTW...All four kiosks malfunctioned the same way. When I finally discerned that my order was coming up, the woman told me that they'd just run out of McMuffins. (Was given burritos instead) One drink dispenser was inoperable ( local said it'd been out for at least a week) and the other was out of many of the selections. Napkin dispenser was broken so napkins wee piled on the counter. Outside of the above, all was fine...Grrr! read more

Just had a filet of fish sandwich! The worst I have ever had! The sandwich must have been sitting all day it was dry and the bun was like a hockey puck! I will never go back there again. This McDonald's is one of the worst there is. Good luck if you eat there!! Absolutely horrible!! read more

This is by far the worst mcdonalds location i ever been to. Food is not bad everything else just terrible. First of all whats the point of having two drive thru lanes if only one is open. The wait is always 30 mins + thats not "fast food". And What is the point of mcdonalds app if the doors are ALWAYS closed and you still have to sit in the drive thru line. read more

Update: after 3 months I tried this place again and I def shouldn't have! Ridiculous service! One car in line at 7pm and I had to pull over and wait for a happy meal and some fries and then to top it off they didn't give me half the happy meal! R u serious? How hard is it to make a happy meal complete? I have had nothing but horrible service and even worse food!! Please don't waste your time going here!! I can't imagine why corporate hasn't done something about this place! Don't come here unless your prepared to wait forever for your food! There was only about 5 cars in line and it literally took me 25 minutes to order and get my food! Certainly not fast food! read more

Slow, slow, slow incompetent. The system is broken and not fixable. Avoid this McDonald's they are beyond short staffed

I commend the manager at the McDonalds on BuckWalter. It can get crazy busy and he remains calm and polite. Just missed the milkshake todayz read more

A 1-star review is generous! This McDonald's is the worst one I have ever come across. This location seems to ALWAYS close early, even when they say they are open online. Indoor dining is rarely open, and when it is, I wait a minimum of 15 minutes for my food order to be ready. The Coke machines are always out of everything as well, even ice. The drive thru line is always wrapped around the building with only one lane open, and will take upwards of an hour from start to finish. Food is never good, and almost always cold by the time I get it at the window. The staff always seems friendly but very overwhelmed, as I think most of the issues stem from lack of employees. I do not advise anyone to visit this McDonald's. It needs to be shut down. read more

This is the worst McDonald's I ever visit. I relocated here from NYS. I bought three times hoping it was just a bad day. However it's always the same. The food is always over cooked, old, soggy nasty!!!! I love the fillet fish, the three times has been disgusted. It's just not worst given them a penny!!!!! Given up. read more

Hands down the slowest and rudest "fast food" establishment I have ever been to... you minus well call it "slow food". 45+ minute wait to get 2 breakfast sandwiches with about 4 people in front of us. No one at the front counter to answer questions. All staying in the back. When asked a question, they have major attitude. The tables look like they haven't been cleaned in a year. The seats are filthy and sticky. Don't come here. Period. read more

I woudnt go back to this place again rude ppl at the register! Didn't come home with the food I paid for! This has happened before.. this place dosnt even deserve 1 star! Out of breakfast burritos on the week end.? The bad service just never ends here! I'm done.. read more

Would give a 0 stars if I could. Workers are lazy and won't do the work they're paid for. Went at 10 pm and sat there for 30 mins, never got to even say my order. The sign said they were open till 12 and there were no signs saying otherwise. We even saw workers at the windows!!! Save your money & time going there and just go to the wendy's 10 mins down the road. Trust me, it'll be a lot better. (Food and service). read more

This is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. They tried to rush me at the window to give my order, and I was trying to speak clearly for them bc they are known for making mistakes. The women on the speaker said "is that it" literally every time I said new item. Once I finally made it to the first window to pay, (took about 10 minutes and I was 4th in line) the woman was friendly enough but read my order back to me so fast I have no idea what she said. Once I had paid, I sat in that line to get to the second window for 29 minutes. I'm not exaggerating, and if I could have backed up to get a refund I would have. The woman in front of me had received her drinks and was told pull up and wait she sped off angrily. The man behind me who just paid got out of his vehicle and knocked on the window to get his money back and drove out of the line. By the time I. DID get my food, it was cold, the fries were soggy and limp, and they had to refill the slushy machine before they could give me my drink. All in all I spent a total of 42 minutes...at a FAST food restaurant. I know this location is understaffed, but that's been the situation for the past year. Half the time Ive come for lunch the dining room is closed bc they only have enough staff for Drive thru. I'm guessing their management is horrible or they treat they're employees terribly bc I've never seen a place have such a hard time getting their stuff together. But I'm done giving them chances. I will NOT be back. And if you decide to brave it, I hope you have the whole day to spend there in order to get your food! read more

Terrible experience. Drive thru and restaurant no customers at 3:05 in afternoon. Went thru drive thru. Only got "Will you be using your rewards todsy" recording?. No one there to take order. Ran thru again. Same thing. Drove up to the payment. Window was cracked open about 6". Worker was there but tied up on personal phone call. Drove to the pickup window and asked if I could place order there. Was told no. Ended up going inside. 6 people moseying around. No customers.... well, here's 1 less one than they'll have next time. read more

I ordered my food at 11:09 and I didn't not get my food until 12:49 I fuckin hate this place

Most the 2 star reviews I leave are because of a specific bad experience that I feel passionately about. This 2 star is less out of a vendetta and more out of a real hope this place tightens things up. Came here late night which understandably is harder for employees. Ordered at the drive through which was painfully car shutting offingly in 80-degree heatingly slow. Ordered a pick 2 Big Mac, nuggets and large fries. The Big Mac and nuggets themselves were fine, standard stuff. The problem was they didn't include any of the requested sauces or ketchup. The fries were soggy and very under filled. Sitting at the window for 2 moons phases have me time to look inside the restaurant that appeared disorganized and not exactly clean. The restaurant looked fairly new so they may just need better management or to change some staff around. I wouldn't recommend it if there were other options in the area but sadly there aren't many. read more

Simply awful. And they rip you off. I went there last Monday (13May19) and ordered a meal. Took 19 minutes just to get to the one open register. The Coke machine was out of several drink bases ans even ran out of Dr. Pepper while I was in the middle of pouring it. Things only got worse when I ordered a to-go. Because of this experience, I will check everything before I leave the store, because I paid for a Quarter Pounder with Cheese Bacon and wound up with NO BACON. That's about a dollar difference. Yes, I attempted contact. A complete waste of time. I won't be eating there again. Also, despite having signs claiming free wi-fi, that location has NOT HAD wi-fi for about 3 years. read more

I said 2 years ago I wouldn't return but I had hoped that in that time they had improved. No such luck. Absolutely horrible service and heaven forbid you want a receipt, you'll never get one. There's always an excuse why they can't provide one. read more

Be advised that you could spend 30+ minutes in this drive thru. Some suggestions as to how to spend your time waiting: Listening to the employees yell back and forth to each other (non work related activities and conversations) Listing all the food you could have made faster (pot roast, a thanksgiving turkey, a wedding cake) Imagining a world where Justin Bieber is a waiter in Canada instead of a constant nuisance on society. Feeling bad and adding an extra star to your snarky Yelp review because the young lady at the window was so nice. Realizing you've become the kind of person who writes Yelp reviews for McDonalds. Been here a few times. Customer service is very slow. Most of the workers are rude and lazy. The food is thrown together so when you take the wrapper of a sandwich it falls apart. Go to a different place and avoid this one read more

This has to be one of my least favorite McDonald's. 4 out of 5 orders have an issue (wrong sandwich, wrong drink). This morning, not only did I get the wrong sandwich, this restaurant was also out of ice. If you need to get a McDonald's fix, I suggest going to the one on Fording Island Rd by the Hilton Head Island bridge or to the one just off the interstate in Hardeeville. read more

Very disappointed in our McDonalds. Over the course of two years they have consistently fallen short for one reason or another. From their ice cream machine being broken for extended periods of time, to them saying it's too late to order ice cream when it was actually working when it was only 7:30pm. Their food is always subpar. This particular visit I sat at the drive through but no one was answering the second lane so I had to drive around to the window to politely ask if it was broken. It wasn't. It just wasn't being worked, so the lone had become so long it was backed out of the parking lot with two full lines now. Then after I finally get my food it was all cold and hard. After waiting what seemed like hours to get "fast" food, one would thing at least the food would be fresh and warm. It has been microwaved. PLEASE improve this! We want to enjoy our local McDonalds. read more

If I could give a zero, I would. Went for Sunday breakfast at 10:20 am, they were out of English muffins, sausage burritos and the individual milk capsules. They gave me milk for my coffee in a paper cup. The management and workers didn't seem to care, food took 20 minutes to arrive, they had 3 employees waiting on food, including the manager and one employee preparing the meals, with seven or eight customers shaking there heads, waiting for food. What a food establishment disgrace! Mark T. read more

Wish I could leave no star. We used the drive through. Had to repeat the order 4 times there. Then three more times at the pay window. Then we're given a Big Mac and fried when we did an order of chicken tenders and McNuggets. Then charged for three orders of tenders. Four more times explaining the order then demanding our money back got it right. Felt like a bad amusement park ride. Good god, someone needs to manage this place. read more

If I could 0 stars I would. Show up to this place after 7am to order in drive through. NO ONE ANSWERS. The lights are on but nothing! At 706 am I called them (yep I was being that lazy this morning). They answered but said oh we're closed but will open soon. No time as to when but soon. The line of cars in both lanes had there time completely wasted. How about a sign or an orange cone blocking the drive through. I don't come here often but I have been here enough to know they open earlier than 7am. If things happen that caused them to run behind, fine, but just be considerate of your clients. Let people know your schedule changed. I do not like to waste my time and I certainly don't want you wasting it. Won't be back! read more

Drive through employees are not nice. Ask a question and they stare at you like they are deaf. Got a fish sandwich which had so much tarter sauce on it that it was all out of the sandwich box around the bun. Fries Were cold. It's too bad they can't hire decent people. read more

I had a really bad experience at this McDonald's today. I placed an order through the mobile app and parked in one of the curbside pick up spots. The drive-thru was moving very quickly, however no one was coming out to deliver the mobile orders. After waiting for 15 minutes, I tried going inside to ask someone where my order was, but the doors were locked. I tried calling and no one answered, so I had to walk up to the drive-thru window. I spoke to the manager and he and two employees came out to my car. I explained the situation and one of the employees spoke very rudely and said "No you haven't been here long enough", while rolling her eyes at me when I had been there for nearly 20 minutes. The manager said "We never received an order, you didn't place it here" in a very rude tone. I showed him my phone with the app showing the confirmation. It was at the right address and my card had been charged. I understand technology has mess ups, but what upset me about this situation is that the manager, Phil, NEVER apologized and said "Well, it's not showing up on my screen so I don't know what to tell you" So I said "Well, my card has been charged, it was placed at this location, so can you please bring me my food?" and he said to me "I'll do it for you this time, but it not showing up on my computer" I felt very disrespected and unvalued as a PAYING CUSTOMER. This manager acted like he was doing me a favor by bringing me the food I PAID FOR! Like I said before, I know technology is not perfect and mistakes happen, but as a manager it is your job to make sure customers are taken care of and are satisfied. After waiting for a total of 45 minutes, I finally got my order, which, by the way, was only 4 cheeseburgers. I will never return to this McDonald's location because of how this manager and the employees treated me. read more

This store is running the biggest scam with their self-service kiosks. You place your order and the kiosk says you will receive a receipt which you should take to the counter. The machine issues no receipt, so you proceed to the counter to get one. The clerk tells you that your order did not go through and he/she retakes your order and assures you that the order didn't go through so you weren't charged for anything. As I had the experience once before in this store, I knew better and checked my online bank account right away. The kiosk does in fact take money if you pay by credit/debit card and then the clerk rings you up again and takes your money. The manager noticed two almost identical orders which I had placed because the clerk initially told me that the order placed on the kiosk was nowhere in their system, and then the manager asked me why I was "making" their kitchen make me extra food. I told her I wasn't "making them" do anything- that I had been instructed by the clerk that since I didn't have the receipt, then the transaction didn't go through. At this point I knew something was amiss, so I pulled up my bank account to show manager and the clerk that the money had already been deducted from my account for the kiosk transaction that was the order I really wanted. I had placed a basic order at the counter after being told my customized kiosk order was never processed. I politely requested that the counter order be cancelled and that I get the original order I placed at the kiosk. When at the counter, I did order an apple pie as well. The manager was very rude and said I was trying to cheat them out of an apple pie. I told her I had paid for one and I wasn't trying to cheat them out of anything and I would gladly pay for it. The manager yells back to the kitchen "Quit making that second order. This lady is just wasting our time." The manager finally did begrudgingly refund my charge for the meal ordered at the counter, but she was very unpleasant about it and kept telling the clerks and kitchen about how many "dumb ass" people f' up at the kiosks. I wonder how many people pay at the kiosk and pay again at the counter not realizing what they did until they get home and then either figure there is no way they can prove they didn't get the food or figure there is not enough to contest. I figure this has to happen at least 20-30 times a day with an average order of $20. So who is getting that extra $400? This isn't the first time this happened, so they are well aware of the problem. I have taken this up to the franchisee and corporate now. read more
