It is very nice and clean. They let us park our stroller at the front. Restrooms: They have two single use restrooms. One has a changing pad for babies. Both of their restrooms were very clean. Service: We were warmly welcomed and served from the minute we entered Veranda. All the staff was soooo friendly and passionate about what they do. I felt right at home! You can also tell this is a place where locals go because some of the staff knew guests by name. Food: The food was fantastic. I had their 'Hungarian Mushroom Soup' which was delicious! My husband had one of their sandwiches and loved it. We will definitely back if we return to Black Mountain!

Our server was quick and so was the time we got our food after ordering. The bread, cheese and vegetables were fresh and tasty. The grilled chicken in my sandwich was very chewy and tough. It's basically some tables with no umbrellas or shade in the middle of the parking lot. We were sweltering. Probably why many people took theirs to go or huddled under the roofing. Pretty small for an ice cream place but a good size for a small. The dipped soft serve was massive. So much so that I had to ask for a cup because it was a mess.
