The McDonald's in BANNOCKBURN is terrible. Everyone that lives over here should boycott this place. They treat their customers like garbage, and when you contact the owner, he ignores your complaint. I thought the poor customer service was just someone having a bad day, but nope. On several occasions I've witnessed employees talk down to customers simply because they had a problem with their order, myself included. I no longer trust this place. I had been coming here for awhile but I guess they changed over their staff. I came in one night after placing a mobile order. I was charged on the app and Apple pay confirmed the charge as well as on my CC App. When I got to the register they requested the money. I told them I paid on the app. They told me I didn't. I tried to show the lady the app and Apple pay that both showed payment but she walked away. She came back, refused to look and told me to leave. I asked her to call customer service, she refused. I tried to show her the receipts, she refused to look. She told me to leave the drive thru and I finally refused. After an awkward 5 minutes of refusing to look or call CS or help in any way she told me I was stealing and handed me my order. I emailed the CEO of McDonalds about this issue twice and got no response. How do you steal when you have a receipt showing you paid? How is this an acceptable way to treat customers. This used to be one of my fav fast food places and really close and convenient. Now they've lost a customer for life. Terrible customer service on all levels. read more

HORRIBLE service from the manager. We went through the drive thru for two quick Diet Cokes and a large fry. After paying we were told to drive up to Window 2. And we waited. And waited. And waited. I got out of the car and went inside because the wait time was insane. The manager completely ignored me, but I saw him preparing our order and complaining about us in Spanish (Problem #1: I speak Spanish, and I think it's so horrible to talk about your customers when you think they can't understand you). He races to the drive thru window and (Problem #2) hands my fiancé the order BLAMING HIM for "making" him give the car behind us the wrong order (aka giving the guy behind us our order). Ummm... okay?! Mistakes happen, and I 100% understand that, but screaming at and/or blaming your customers for your employees' mistakes is uncalled for. One of my favourite McDonald's with a clean restaurant, new facilities, and most importantly, reliable burgers and fries everytime. The cherry on top is the friendly and efficient service. Tip. You can get a few dollars off if you spend $10 on the McDonald's app. Also 2 breakfast sausage and egg muffins are $4 for two, otherwise $3 each. And they are available all day! It's McDonald's... but with a cool one! Firstly, YUM to the fresh beef used for Quarter Pounders! This facility is very modern and clean. Even the Coke machine is a nice, new touchscreen deal that does not allow for anyone's cup to hit the same dispenser as yours. I've posted some pictures for your amusement, or for something to look at when you're bored... The food was very fresh, and good quality, as far as a McDonald's goes. I'm a bit confused by the web-advertised 24 hour opening time. Don't be confused. It's only open until 11pm. So, I won't be going at 2 am, but that's okay. Enjoy. Get the fresh beef! read more

When a customer calls the store and has a question it's up to the employee to answer that question to the best of his/her ability. I called yesterday at 8AM with a very simple question. "Is your McDonald's participating in the Pokémon 25th anniversary promotion?" The response I got was pitiful. "No...sorry...I don't know" at first which was fine. I don't expect you to know off the bat My next question "Alright, do you know where I can find information about this, or direct me to someone who WOULD know the answer to my question" I small silence, and then another "No, sorry I don't...I don't know.." silence, I thought she was going to continue with something redeemable BUT THEN SHE HANG UP!! no goodbye NOTHING WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS?? She didn't say "is there something else I can help you with?" She didn't say "let me find out" She didn't even say GOODBYE! HUNG UP At least ask a coworker or the manager? I mean it's SO DAMN SIMPLE. Is our McDonald's participating in this WELL KNOWN WORLDWIDE PHENOMENA? I mean come on throw me a freaking bone here. Terrible experience. Though I'm not in the practice of reviewing fast food restaurants, I have to give it up to this McDonald's. Every single time, they get our order 100% correct. Summer means frozen strawberry lemonades, McFlurry ice cream, yogurt parfaits and hash browns for the kiddos. We always go through the drive thru, and we literally drive out of our way to this location, because we always leave satisfied. The employees are friendly, gracious, and any time we've had to wait we end up with an extra treat (apple pie for the wait!). This location has it going on, and we enjoy spending our money here. Staff very very friendly. Manager takes responsibility for employee mistakes and compensates customers well. A total 180 from the Deerfield McDonalds Gestapo!!! They serve the food to your table. And they give you the cups for drinks at time of placing order so you can get started. Effeciency is top notch here. Very convenient location. This is a great McDonald's, it's new and the staff and management seem fantastic. They are professional and fast and get the orders correct every time! They always seem to have a manager on duty and he is probably one of the reasons they're so good. I've been there at the drive-thru and am always getting a friendly smile. Terrible service in the drive through! If their friends are in the lane next to you, even if you pulled up first and were waiting for them to speak to you, their friends will be served first. And if you complain, they begin by yelling at you and then to get you to buy the food, they may apologize. Lots of choices on McDonald's out there. This is probably the best McDonald's I have ever seen. Food quality is consistent, and the service is well above McDonald's standards. The staff are always friendly and bring the food to your table. The 2 drink machines are the new multi-flavor type, and the cups are next to the cashier so there is no waiting. Cleanliness, inside and out is a strong point, especially for McDonalds. read more

A brand new Mickey D's.....inside is real nice, very modern.....but drive thru needs lots of help. Ordered the new quarter pounder with only cheese and extra slivered onions ONLY.....a apple pie, and a fresh lemonade.. After leaving the drive thru, and starting to eat...noticed the burger did not have extra onions, and had ketchup, etc., the apple pie was obviously old, and the large lemonade was 16oz of ice, and 4 ounces of liquid. Since I was already gone, no use to return in the traffic to go back. Just another PRIME example of pathetic drive thru experience. read more
