ordered from there off of Uber Eats there were no straws in the bag even though I ordered two drinks. the order was place around 12:40 my driver had it here by 1:00 and the food was cold. I also ordered the mocha frappe and it wasn't even blended up there's syrup stuck to the bottom and there's literally just ice floating to the top so it's basically not even a frappe. Driving thru and decided to stop here since it was next to the gas station. The people were very nice, but this establishment was beyond filthy. The soda counter was covered in sticky soda, the floors were so dirty I nearly slipped multiple times, there were no clean tables. Not one! And no one was eating in the entire establishment, so no reason not to clean. No napkins. No straws. The self check out machines didn't work and there was no one at the counter. Me and my family went into Mcdonald's in Appomattox a few days ago and there was an older short lady working as a cashier and she was yelling at every costumer. The manager asked her to come to the cash register, the older lady said "OH MY GOSH, WHAT." and the manager looked and said "please no attitude today", so this has definitely happened before. She yelled at the top of her lungs at an older couple because they had a big order. Another head manager was working on his computer at a table so one of my family members went over to him & told him everything that had happened. I ordered a double cheeseburger with extra ketchup & extra pickles. I got meat, cheese & bread. When I approached the counter, the guys in the back announced to everyone that there was an angry customer at the front. I was very embarrassed & uncomfortable and NOT angry. I smiled & said, I'm not angry. An employee approached me, took the burger & when he went to the back to 2 employees where it was very obvious that they were talking about me, they made no attempts to be discreet. He eventually brought me the burger, it had a lot of ketchup & that was the only change. He stood there arguing with me when I asked where the other toppings were, saying they were on it. I opened the burger & asked where, as I showed him it was smothered in ketchup & that was it. He turned around, grabbed another burger & gave it to me. No apologies, nothing. The burger was barely warm & the rest was COLD. I'm not even upset about the burgers as much as I am upset about how I was made to feel. Also, the tables were dirty & the ketchup packets were sticky & slimy - all of them. I will NEVER go back to this location, if any McDonalds at all. The service at this location was appalling. Pulling up to the payment window we could hear staff yelling and cursing at each other. They got our order wrong three times and we still did not drive away with the correct order. We waited over 20 minutes with no apology or explanation. The food was stale, squished flat, and cold. The inside of the restaurant was disgusting with food wrappers everywhere. We were overcharged for adding flavor to our coffees, when we had order simple cream and sugar (and did ot receive the sugar). Ordered a chicken sandwich without pickles. Got the chicken sandwich with pickles on it. Went inside to exchange the sandwich for a new one. All they did was take the same chicken sandwich put it back in the deep fryer or whatever they used to cook it in and gave it back to me on a new bun. Food was good, my concern was that the employee handed me food and I was waiting for a gift card I pulled me to the next window. Another employee (in front of the manage mind you) comes to the window and said did you get two bags I said yes, one for my biscuits and my daughter got a gravy biscuit they gave me that in another bag. She said "did you touch it" I said no. I hadn't checked the bag I'm just waiting on my gift card She said I needed to give it back which of course is fine if it wasn't part of my order. What disturbed me was the manager said who was waiting on that gravy biscuit. That is not proper health department code. The item should have been discarded I don't care how busy you are. We will not be returning knowing they do this now which is unfortunate because the breakfast is their best time typically. read more

First of all, it's McDonald's, so let's not expect a gourmet meal. However, the restaurant was very clean, restrooms were clean and stocked, the service was prompt and efficient, the food was made to order and the order was correct, our sandwiches and fries were hot and our food came to the table pretty quickly. The restaurant design is modern and airy. No real complaints about anything during our visit except for the hand dryers in the restroom being louder than normal. read more

I ordered a ten piece McNuggets and when the employee at the window handed me the bag I asked if the hot mustard sauce was in the bag and she said "It should be." I drove away and a couple miles down the road I discovered there were no sauce packages in the bag. Have you ever tried to eat McNuggets with no sauce? Terrible. Dry, flavorless, awful. About an hour later on my way home, I stopped by again and the employee I told her my experience with no sauce said she'd replace the nuggets and make sure I got the sauce. When I got to the pickup window the shift leader/manager asked for the McNuggets and I said I didn't have them but I had the receipt, She rudely told me that without the nuggets she couldn't give me a replacement. This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Arrived at 11pm to find approx 4 vehicles in front of me in the drive thru (only thing open) Watched a young guy exit building twice and second time followed by a young girl the were talking to a girl in a car in parking lot... it took 25 min to be next in line..guy in fro t of me waited 15 min for someone to finally answer on speaker (only after he tooted the horn) I pull up. I wait 7 min. Said "hello anyone here"..was told to "wait a minute "... I waited 5 min. I tooted my horn..I was told that since I wanted to toot my horn in her ear she wasn't taking my order...I asked for her manager she said she was the manager asked her name..she no longer would answer me.. I waited another 10 min for her to take my order only to be td I told you I wasn't taking your order..than she called the cops on me (Dudley do right shows up).. I told him I was waiting on the information I requested... the store owners name and number..!!!!!....Cop felt need to schoole on fact that there was only 2 employees working I told him than they should not have been in the parking lot with the vehicle they should have been serving customers, and if they have staffing issues they should let the customer know there will be a very extended delay... Don't leave customers waiting 15 min & more.... Horrible place ..never again read more

I haven't been to this McDonald's in months because the last 3 times I went there was hair in my food... but with that being said I went today for breakfast and asked for no egg (which is on the recipe) of course I got egg but the best part is I even asked at the window there is no egg right and they said yes ma'am there is no eggs but all the meals had eggs.. and you can't bring the food back with out a recipe but whenever I ask for one they say the paper is out or the Machine is broken. Visited this restaurant yesterday about 6 pm. The food was hot and wait time was reasonable. The supply of napkins, straws, and cup lids was well stocked. The dining room was unclean. Floors were black and sticky at the soft drink area. Ladies room was unclean and actually stunk like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. There was no paper in the handicap stall. I informed a female employee who was sitting in the booth just outside of the ladies room about the need for paper. She said "ok, thank you"; however, by the time we left about 20 minutes later, there was still no paper. read more

When we go into McDonald's in Appomattox, VA. it is very disturbing and disappointing. How can a remodel start going downhill so fast? The bathrooms are not that clean. The toilet tissue in the ladies restroom is always on the floor instead of being in the holders. The restrooms smell badly. More often than not the ice machines are out of order. The parfaits have 3/4 of the cup with frozen fruit and on top is a little yogurt. The fruit should be thawed and the cup should be layered fruit, yogurt, fruit, yogurt etc. Some of the counter staff act as if they are doing us a favor for taking our order. We frequently come in and find the tables are dirty. It's sad to see a beautiful new building so poorly maintained and staffed. When the store had the grand opening and the owners were present things were good. We sure would like to see them come to this facility sometime. read more

An American institution. I loved it 50 years ago, as kids do today. Hamburgers fries etc. have not evolved since the 1950's. 15 cent hamburgers in 1965 are now a dollar and are smaller,but isn't everything. Cheap date meal in high school and the local hang out. Some things never change and sometimes that's good. About the service... just remember for most employees its a "first job" getting used to the working world in the demanding service industry, or retirees looking to supplement social security income. They get my order right about one out of three times, the food is usually slapped together, and sometimes it's even hot. There are some McDonalds out there that are really well managed. This McDonald's cannot seem to get any order right. Chronically forgetting to put the dipping sauce in your order for the nuggets. Putting in wrong food items. Example...today I ordered a 20-piece nuggets and when I got home they had put the 4 buttermilk tenders in my bag instead. Those tenders, by the way were terrible. Rubbery, old, over-cooked on the edges and completely without flavor. My husband said they tasted like leather and I said, "I'd rather eat some leather!" When I called to voice my complaint I'm told to either come back to the restaurant, which, by the way, I am not doing once I get home, or they say they'll write my name down and replace what I ordered on my next visit. The worst part is, that the problems never get corrected. The burger today was so full of ketchup that with each bite the ketchup oozed out of the sandwich with tons of the onions. Very sloppy. There seems to be no care as to the overall quality of the product that is given to the consumer. I know it is "fast food," but I still expect the people who work there to take pride in their job and the product they are putting out. Today it was the actual manager who messed up my order. I asked before leaving the window if I had the dipping sauce and he said, "No. I don't have my glasses on." Um, what does that have to do with anything? As the manager, if you didn't see someone ordered a dipping sauce might you confirm that the person didn't want sauce instead of just not putting it in the bag? It is on the screen for you to review and to correctly fill the order. What can you expect from other employees if the manager cannot even do the job correctly??? My suggestion...don't waste oyour money on this McDonald's. You certainly won't receive what you ordered!!! read more
