I have not had issues with this location in the past. I frequently visit this McDonald's, mostly on Saturday mornings, so this experience was very disappointing. I placed a mobile app order at this McDonald's and paid for it, but I never received my food. I waited about 20 minutes for curbside pickup, then went inside to ask about the order. The restaurant was very crowded and unorganized. When I spoke with the manager on duty, she did not seem to understand my order even after I showed it to her on my phone. She kept referring to only part of the order, even though there were additional items. She was not rude, but the situation was handled poorly, and she had to ask another employee to explain how I could cancel the order or request a refund. I was told they could not refund me because the order was placed through the app. I paid for food I did not receive, and after filing a complaint, I still have not been contacted by the restaurant after about a week. I went inside to eat today and half the tables were filthy with residual food from earlier patrons scattered. Soda had been overfilled and cover had soda floating on top; so could not tilt without it spilling. A security person telling people to leave after being in there 30 minutes; he could have been wiping off the tables. The worker's families blocking traffic in main entrance to wait to pick them up. They simply could have parked ten feet from the door in the lot. A manager was arguing with customer who used APP to order stating that the price on the screen in their kiosk was not updated and extra cost was actually a dollar more; very disrespectful and annoyed those of us who did not need to hear the conversation or proof of how dumb the employees hired are. read more

On Monday, i stopped for a Big Mac. It is, or was my favorite sandwich from them. I live just a couple blocks from this store, but when I got home with the sandwich it was at best room temp. Not bit of warmth. The small fries I ordered were very good. Food temperature is a big problem with fast food restaurants. Burger King is slightly better, but only slightly. read more

When we got to the window we had to wait five minutes, then we had to correct her on our order, then we got to the window and we had to wait ten minutes listening to them fight in Spanish and when we got our Mc flurrys the oreos weren't even mixed in. The oreos were on top and half way through the ice cream it was all vanilla like a vanilla ice cream with oreo topping not a Mc Flurry! This is by far the worst McDonalds in Pa. Service is spotty at best and dirty most of the time. The staff is rude, takes forever to get food and then you hope it's correct. At times your food will be cold, undercooked, or from the previous day. I've witnessed then drop food on the floor and still serve it to the customer at the window. The last time I went there I had to return a burger because it was so hard, I literally knocked on the counter with it to get their attention. When I said I wanted to exchange it for a fresh one or get my $ back, they said if I didn't have a receipt they can't help me. I told them they didn't give me a receipt and I was just there 3 minutes ago. They refused so I threw the puck at the manager and that was the last time I went. I use to also deliver for Uber Eats and I would tell people who picked this one to get their food to pick the Cedar Crest store next time as they are way better. I live closer to this GhettoDonalds but go out of my way to travel to Cedar Crest if I have a craving for their food. This place should be closed down or at least inspected/investigated so they can remove management and most of the people working there and start over. I have multiple horror stories about this place. Had to repeat my order 5 times. Employee spoke spanish I speak english. I waited 12 to 14 minutes in line because of a wrong order at the front of the line. I explained to the cashier that other McDonalds have the person pull forward while they correct the order. This also keeps the line moving. Finally when I get to the window for my order, it was wrong. I just accepted what they gave me and left. The last time I was there it took 31 minutes to place my order! This locations has it's highs and lows, though I do prefer to go here over the MacArthur location. Only ever been through the drive through which always has a line. And I usually have to pull into a parking spot to wait for my order. I always make sure to check my receipt after I pay. They will randomly enter sauces or drinks without asking. I always clarify my choices at the second window which they fix. But if my order ends up going through the parking lot they never remember/pass the change along. However, compared to the MacArthur location, the fries here are always warm/hot and salted perfectly. The fries are the main reason I go to McDonald's which is the only reason I'm giving this location more than 1 star. read more

I avoid this McDonald's at all costs. Nobody there cares and it shows because the fries are disgusting and stale. They use the same dirty oil over and over. They offer you sauce for your nuggets just for you to pull up to the next window for them to tell you the sauce you asked for is out. They also display items on the menu that they're out of stock on as well. Why advertise the chicken tenders when you haven't sold them in weeks? Also, do not go through the drive thru unless you want to wait 15-30 minutes for an old burger that was probably left over from the morning. And on top of that you just lost gas from sitting there so long and will probably have to fill up your tank afterwards. And don't go inside because you might meet the lady that you think is off her shift because she's standing by the trash can complaining about how she wants her shift to end and then after waiting there 5 minutes to ask is anyone working she finally gets behind the counter and acknowledges you. I am writing this while waiting in line for over 30 minutes. There's been several cars that already left. The only reason I'm still here is this is the only 24 hour McDonalds in the area. Last time I was here I waited for over an hour and then was told that they only had a few different items to choose from, they also are not accepting debit cards. This time however, the wait was only around 45 minutes total, and at least I got my food. Also when I did get to order they do not have the menu items that I wanted. The wait was extremely long but at least the staff was courteous. The food was all so much better than I expected it to be. Well today is the day I FINALLY give up on this place. The reason it took so long is because I practically live across the street from the place and unfortunately I'm a fry junkie and the smell lofts into my house and my cravings begin, however today coupled with the past 3 times I was there has put this mcdonalds on my black list. Usually if there are more than 3 people in line I immediately walk out. Well today there were 4+ and foolish me decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. There was an older lady placing her order and the cashier looked clueless. About 3 minutes goes by and then I hear the guy next in line yell, "WHAT THE F IS TAKING SO LONG, I'VE BEEN HERE FOR 15 MINUTES!!!" which of course was my clue to turn around and walk out. The other thing is they cater to any and ALL uber orders no matter what the circumstance is. Why anyone would want mcdonalds delivered is beyond me. Even though their fries are pretty tasty we all know they have a shelf life of about 90 seconds. There was an extremely rare occasion where nobody was in line or in the entire store. So I placed my order and proceeded to wait for 20+ minutes while the entire staff of 5-6 people focused on the uber orders. After 5 minutes I asked for my money back and I was told food will be right out. Obviously that didn't happen. Staff was all goofing off, no one to take orders. Large amount of people waiting for food. When I told the one worker i had been waiting over 40 minutes, he couldn't even say something, just looks at his screen, pushes a few buttons and walks away.
