For a simple order of 2 double cheese, a large fry and a large coke you're looking at an hour wait AFTER the window, guaranteed. This place has the worst service of any McDonald's I've ever been to. Stopped here on the way to work. There was not enough staff. This is the second worst McDonald's I've been to in my 49 years of life. First, they had some odd "drawer system " in which components of the meal came out of different drawers. This is why the food is not fresh. The owner of this McDonald's needs to retrain, higher the proper amount of staff, and regularly round. read more

The manager there is so nice. Brandon was his name I think. My husbands phone died they didn't receive our mobile order for breakfast .. and it was basically 11 am so time for breakfast was almost over. But he made our food. Then when they forgot some hash browns ( I ordered it , my husband messed up not them ) even though it was 11:30 am... he made it right. And went above and beyond to give our kids their hash browns. This is my least favorite McDonald's; I only go here if it's my last choice - I'd rather drive the 5 extra minutes to the Elwood location. - Service is extremely slow. Each of my few visits have lasted over 10 minutes, in the drive thru. Most of the time, the line is wrapped around the building. - 4 out of 5 visits, my order is wrong. Make sure to check before you leave. Nothing is more annoying than getting home, only to find one of your kids' chicken nuggets missing. - No customer service skills. Most of the employees I have dealt with have been rude, insisting that they are right & apparently I don't know what I ordered. I will be avoiding this location until further notice. read more

Worst McDonald's I've ever been too! Stopped in here a few weeks ago while traveling in the area. They were not busy and still took 30 minutes to make the worst food I have ever eaten! Cold over cooked fries crispy chicken tasted almost rotten and the cheese burger tasted like it had been in the warming tray for a week! First they messed up my order. Then they gave me a hard time when I asked them to fix it. They made me wait for way too long for the fix and then they cussed me out and threw a Sundae at my car when I complained. If I could, I would give them negative stars. Completely unacceptable. I am not sure what has happened but this McDonald's has gone downhill. The service is extremely slow. I had spoken with the owner about this and just got told " oh we're short staffed and had some bad management it will get better". It sadly hasn't gotten any better. Even if there are 4 cars in line expect to spend 15-20 minutes in line. The shake machine is always broke or "being cleaned" the ice cream machine never seems to work either. read more

Every single time I order anything, it always seems to be not centered on the bun and the cheese is most of the way off of the whole sandwich, any sandwich. Ordered a Big Mac opened the box and it not only looked more like a salad thrown in the box but it was cold. Don't get me started on the McCafe drinks that everytime I order them it is like a game of guess to what is available. I used to like this place, something has happened to its service and quality, and in the summer it is over run and plagued with flies. Please fix your store, it is convenient and useless to me at the same time. I am coming from Elwood, going to Hartford City and dont need to stop here for any reason. Very modern, larger, & clean dining area, with booths & table/chairs. They have a large outdoors dining area, with 7 picnic table type seating provided. My food was prepared well, & presented in a short time. The servers appeared to be competent & cordial. read more

Extremely slow and completely messed up our order. Our Big Macs only had 1 patty, no sauce, and no cheese. When we went in to correct the order many of the employees seemed to be lazing around more preoccupied with someone's dog in the drive through than actually working. read more

This place is a joke!!!! Me and my brother went there today and the staff was completely rude. Especially the lady with blue hair. We got up to the 2nd window and they asked for us to pull up. My brother asked for his pies cause he was hungry. They said ok but never brought them. Another chick came to the window and said so your not gonna pull up. My brother said no I want my pies she said ok and shut the window. We set there for over 5 mins waiting. They started taking people their food who was behind us and we was still at the window. A worker walked by and we said hey to him 3 different times and he ignored us. I yelled some provocative words at him as he was walking Inside. Big blue came to the window and said if we was going to act like that we were gonna have to leave but yet we still have not got our pies or food. So they shut the window on my brother as he was talking and my brother got mad and put the car in park and went inside. He came back out and said the employees said the Cops were on the way. For what?? We don't know. So we went and parked and wired for the cops. 10 mins later no cops came and the manager brought us our food and apologized. It wasn't her fault. It was the employees fault and big blues and if I ever go back there, I will order from a manager and manager only and if I see big blue again I will confront her for how she treated me and my brother. They need new employees that are more respectful and not as illiterate!!!!! read more

If you live in Alexandria Indiana and want to grab a bite to eat at McDonald's you'd be better off driving 20 mins to Anderson or even 45 mins to Elwood because this McDonald's probably gives me the worse service I've ever had out of a McDonald's and I eat there often my fries are room temp most of the time and there have been multiple occasions were I order a burger for example I ordered the quarter pounder with cheese once and they gave me 2 buns and some cheese I guess they forgot the quarter pounder I think they definitely need to go under new management because the service I'm getting is Elwood Hardee's quality I'm surprised McDonald's here gets as many customers as they do read more

They never get my orders right. I have found hair in my food. Every time I go their, the people cooking the food aren't wearing hair nets, which by the way.... you are required to do in a fast food restaurant. Whenever I go to the McDonald's in Anderson, they are wearing hair nets, so that makes me wonder why the people at the Alexandria one don't. I have tried to order a shake multiple times, and their shake machine is ALWAYS down. One time I went in there, and they were really busy. There were a few teenagers in the back that were laughing, yelling and being very obnoxious. The only thing I ordered was a large fry, and it took 30 MINUTES!! I understand that they are just teenagers, but the managers need to make them work harder, and pay more attention! read more
