And let me tell you- don't miss this gem! Steven, the owner, was so kind and welcoming when I came in! Explained how to order and made small talk. Then the sandwich came and i left to go home. I'd like to say the sandwich made it home but alas-i couldn't stop eating it as soon as I got to my car! 10/10 and will definitely be going back :)

I was very excited that Kokomo now has a Raising Cane's - My fiance's family lives nearby and we…read morewere up visiting them from Michigan. Michigan technically has one Cane's location now, but it's on a busy college campus, so I try to get my fix elsewhere when I'm traveling. My fiancé ordered the Box Combo which includes four tenders, coleslaw, Texas toast, fries, and a drink. I ordered the Three Fingers Combo which had three tenders, Texas toast, fries, and a drink (no coleslaw). My future father-in-law ordered the same meal I got, and my fiancé's aunt and uncle split a Caniac Combo, which has six chicken fingers. Everything was very good per usual. My only complaint is that there was a little bit of fat or gristle in one of the chicken fingers. Other than that everything was tasty and delicious. I usually get the sweet tea when I'm at a Cane's as well but this time I opted for root beer, since we had a long drive home ahead of us. There was also a lot of outdoor space as other reviews here have mentioned - the main dining room is a little bit small, we went around 1:30 p.m. at lunch time and it was about 70% full, but it's very spread out as well. The outdoor space would be nice when it's a little bit warmer out, although it was like 70 degrees out today. Overall everything was very good and I will definitely come back the next time we visit my fiancé's parents.

You go to the dining room area to wait for your food from a pick up window. You can see everything in the kitchen area through that window. Several staff members in the kitchen none of them wearing any gloves and all were handling the food with their bare hands. Best I could tell the only thing not touched by bare human hands was the Mac and cheese. The middle aged lady who ended up handing me my food touched all my wedges with her bare hands then proceeded to pick up my chicken wings and started plucking the pin feathers off the wings and then putting it back in the to go box. Needless to say that entire meal went in the trash when I got home. They also should be ashamed selling tiny pecan pies for $3 They are in my fridge so I can't speak to how they taste but at least they were prepackaged so I know that nobody touched them with their bare hands. These things probably happen more often than I care to imagine but If you are going to have a window where people can watch you in the kitchen then it's probably a good idea to wear gloves and use safe food handling practices.
