Doing a little research, I found that eating at Runza is a must do while in Nebraska. So I had to do it. I ordered a mushroom and Swiss Runza. I read that it has cabbage in it. I like cabbage, but couldn't really taste it, which was fine. I'm from Texas, and another Texas reviewer commented that he wished we had Runza in Texas. We have plenty of excellent sandwich shops in Texas, but I bet Runza would do well there. I enjoyed my sandwich. It was quite good. Having never had one before, if I were to compare it to any other kind of sandwich, it reminded me most of a cheesesteak. I will definitely return next time I go through Nebraska.

Although I love having the freedom and all the options of a self serve toppings bar, it felt somewhat unsanitary as a lot of the tongs had fallen into the tubs and people had to reach their hands in to grab the tongs and would touch the food along the way. I still enjoyed it though and ate happily, but it just didn't feel very sanitary lol. One of the hot sauces was extremely spicy and I'd say I have a pretty high spice tolerance, but it got me. The interior of tacos los hermanos is super cute and neon. The vibe is nice and fun to be in. I didn't get a chance to try their desserts, but I'd love to go back and try them sometime!
