I'm not much of a coffee drinker, however, I'm a big fan of their coffee. It's smooth, not too dark, and not bitter. Perhaps one of the other big benefits is the prices for things are STILL REASONABLE considering inflation at every other coffee shop. You can still get a decent meal for around $10 and a frou frou drink for around $5. I'm torn in writing this review because while I want to help them, I also want to keep this place as unknown as possible ;)

I can only imagine what they say about me when I'm not there. I feel uncomfortable going back. They act so nice to peoples faces and as soon as they leave I would hear them making fun of customers like their looks or their voices or what they were wearing. This is extremely disturbing. It's a small cute coffee shop by the house but just lacks any sense of friendliness or even good customer service. I typically wouldn't review but I never got helped at the counter today after waiting for quite awhile. 5 people back there actively couldn't help me order a drink after waiting a good while. The food while decent Is rather overpriced and their coffee is truly mid at best. There are just too many coffee shops in Omaha that have gotten it right for this one to be so bad.

My coffees are always consistently delicious, and I love how festive Coffee Society is, even making new seasonal menus. I got their Valentine's menu iced coffee, which I believe was cookie dough chocolate chip flavored and phenomenal. Their food is very pricey, even for a coffee shop, and I didn't love the breakfast tacos. They were overwhelmingly just avocado and chewy sausage pieces, so next time I would probably try something else as this one was not worth the price. My boyfriend enjoyed his breakfast sandwich, so I would probably try something from their large variety of sandwiches. However, the coffee made this visit worth it. The ambiance is very bright, airy, and open! Coffee Society is very cute and aesthetically pleasing, and their holiday decor was very fun! It was packed this visit, but luckily they have tons of seating!

I checked online before I went, but couldn't find a full menu, so I wasn't sure what tea or other caffeine-free options they had. When I asked about herbal tea, the employee first told me they didn't have any. After I mentioned how disappointed I was, she checked and came back with a few tea options, but peppermint was the only herbal one. I'm just not a mint tea person, so that didn't work for me. She mentioned that they used to carry more herbal teas, but they didn't sell well, so they stopped offering them. I totally understand that from a business standpoint. The employee was nice, although she didn't seem super familiar with the menu and didn't suggest anything else that was caffeine-free or lower calorie.
