I've never met a healthcare professional with such an abhorrent bedside manner, I would recommend that she work behind a desk all day instead of with patients, but that doesn't seem fair to subject the computer to. She speaks to patients with disgust, disdain, presumption, condescension, and blatant animosity. The way she practices can only be described as lazy, spiteful, and petty; it is clear when you meet with her that she has no intention of helping you get better, her superiority complex prevents her from acting with the patients' best interests in mind, and instead she tosses out diagnoses to make her job easy. Any attempts to advocate for yourself are mocked and ignored, and the clinical notes are written with the intention of making her patients appear like stupid hypochrondriacs for daring to speak up. Lucky for her patients though, she very rarely actually documents the care she provides, and only seems to upload notes when she sees fit. The three notes that she DID write while I was under her care were: 1. Written "with the help" of AI, 2. Had many typos, and 3. Clearly took inspiration from Regina George in Mean Girls when writing the Burn Book. I came to this practice for years seeking help, but they refused to provide me with the care that I needed because they found it easier to blame all everything on me and accuse me of making myself sick. Turns out that it wasn't "anxiety" -- it was a tumor! :-) If you need a new PCP, you're genuinely better off relying on WebMD or asking someone who watches Grey's Anatomy for advice.

I never reviewed a doctors office because most of the ones have been good or adequate enough…read more The good: * This is a modern facility located in Pepperell, MA off of MA113. * I have never had to wait or its very short * I like my doctor, he is a bit young and not as thorough as my doctor I had in Wilmington but definitely has a better personality and feel comfortable with discussing the most embarrassing of problems. * The nursing staff is super nice as well and the blood work doesn't hurt The gray: * The reception in this place needs work as this is where the wait is. The company really needs to hire more staff for a place of this size especially with new immediate care. * The current reception staff is not very friendly either. * Calling on the phone to get someone - be prepared to wait. * Promptness is not their specialty if you ask something on their portal. What makes me angry: * My company provides 1 physical a year free of charge to encourage employees to see the doctor. I have done this for many years including my doctor in Wilmington. Recently I went for my normal physical and everything was well. During the visit the doctor talked to me about previous condition A, condition B, and C (noone said the 40s approaching 50 was easy). There was no changes to my medication. I was happy and left satisfied. * A month later a bill arrives in the mailbox and I was in shock. I come to find out that they charged me (and my insurance) not only for the physical but and additional regular office visit to talk about A, B, C conditions. I was never told about this extra charge. Never in the 10 years has there been any extra charge on talking about problems... in fact at Wilmington I would get an EKG and a prostate exam (OK im good without the latter... LOL) and never had one here. * Friends are telling me this new charge is a way for the doctors office to go around an Obamacare rule! * I wouldn't of minded if I was made AWARE of the charges or if they were upfront with me on the billing. Personally I have not had any problems with referrals but I know other people have. Getting care is very difficult, my husband went there because he had poison ivy and he was afraid it was getting in his eye and they turned him away, told him to go to an ophthalmologist. Well she wasn't available because she has a limited schedule so he had to go to the ER and the doctor said why are you here? Your primary care could have handled this. So that's a bill we could have done without. I take stimulant meds for ADHD prescribed from a different provider, via telehealth, she needs my blood pressure reading when prescribing, I bought two different arm cuff ones and for some reason they just aren't accurate so I asked Pepperell if they could check my blood pressure before my appointments and the assistant said yeah no problem! Just call ahead and you can pop in and someone can come right out and check it real quick no biggie. But when I did, they said no, you have to schedule an appointment and it will be a nurse visit which would cost me a $20 co-pay! I said forget it, you're telling me I can't pop in and someone can't run out for a three seconds to take my blood pressure? They refused. My state job as a school van driver requires me to renew my license every year which means I have to have a physical, it's NOT dot, it's just one page asking some health questions about vision and hearing, heart issues and whatever, my provider refused to fill it out. Then after much arguing back-and-forth, they agreed to give me a vision and hearing test. I've never had trouble hearing and they came back and told me I need a hearing aid! I'm 44! I can hear a mouse fart! So I had to go to urgent care to have all this done which costed me $100 and of course I passed everything with flying colors. This office treated my elderly in-laws badly as well. I was constantly advocating for them. Also, my husband signed the form giving them permission to speak with me about anything related to him and then they later said he didn't and it wasn't on file so they refuse to talk to me every time my husband tells me to call them for him. And now, they have canceled my husband's appointments three times! Once it was the day before the appointment when he had already arranged the time off from work! We have the same provider and now it turns out she's leaving! My adult son also goes there and he just got a letter saying that his provider is leaving too! I have never seen an office like this. We are going to find a different doctors office altogether after we move this year.

Referrals don't get submitted, prescriptions don't get sent to the pharmacy, phone calls don't get returned, and messages never get relayed correctly. His approach isn't conventional - he's never checked my ears, nose, throat, etc.; he did labs once to check the basic things but results were never sent to me - I had to get them from the lab's website. I had an ER visit last year and was told to follow up with my PCP but before I could even make an appontment, the office called me and said not to make an appointment but to return to the ER if I had additional issues. Dr. Sullivan seems more interested the DO thing, so if that's what you need, you'll probably be OK......although the last time he did a manipulation on me for back spasms, I couldn't stand up straight for almost 8 weeks and he had left for military deployment. When I recently made a comment about having to be referred out to several specialists, he told me my health issues were too complicated. Perhaps I should have chosen someone with more experience. But I don't think Osteoporosis is too complicated for a PCP to address and I don't think I need to spend the time and money seeing a specialist for it! Honestly, I think 1 star is too high of a rating based on my experiences here..
