Let me assure you, those reviews are legitimate, and Fred & Stacy are exceptionally wonderful to deal with. Fred got us in rather late in the tax season, which made me very happy. The experience from that point was as pleasant as having your taxes done could possibly be. Stacy went above and beyond to proactively call me the day before a snow storm, and asked if I wanted to move the appointment. Who does that these days? Exactly no one, that's who. Once we sat down with Fred, he prepared much of the info on the spot, rather than just taking notes and putting our return in a queue. Got a call the next day (yes, you read that right) that everything was ready. Amazing. I honestly don't even know where to start, but get ready for this ride. There have been countless calls and emails to Mike, Larry, and Joe to ensure my small business is in compliance and filings are done correctly is outrageous. I have copies of every single interaction, call log, and incorrect quarterly sales tax filings. I received a NY delinquent sales tax letter that they never addressed. Letter after letter and a penalty fee that I am not responsible for. Was it handled? I have no idea because their communication is terrible. What about filing my quarterly taxes all under the state of PA instead of splitting it up correctly to each state? I've asked this to be corrected for months now. What about not even filing my quarterly taxes for the states I do business in? What about the sales tax permits Ive been requesting since DECEMBER 2025? No one is ever in the office to go meet in person. When you call the office, you'll get either Andrea or Lina, and they will give you a BS response. They will tell you they are either on the phone or out of the office. I ask for a return call and it has never happened. Ever! Not once have never spoken to Mike, Larry, or Joe on the phone. Its an absolute joke. This company is by far the most incompetent group I've ever encountered. His work is a revelation--moderately complicated taxes can be done in an afternoon, at your home, and affordably. He's knowledgeable and personable. A family member selling her home didn't believe that the common purchasing tool the buyers requested (a "seller's assist") was not some kind of scam and refused to accept their offer until she had talked to David. He explained how common the assist is and how it does not affect one's taxes, and she relaxed enough to go ahead with the sale. (Of course, she then told her own real estate agents she didn't trust them, but that she trusted David implicitly. And he does seem worthy of that trust!) We haven't seen his hilarious tax-time letters (referenced by another yelper), but we hope to find one in the mailbox one day. Maybe we need to be just a little delinquent so he'll feel obligated to send us one.
